That’s right be ashamed of yourselves. I come in these threads thinking I’ll read someone saying what’s happening to the people of Palestine is awful but what I end up reading is people saying they brought it on themselves because they elected Hamas.

So, what if they elected Hamas. We elected the Conservative party but they don’t speak for me, they certainly don’t act on behalf of the everyday citizen of this country. Be ashamed of yourselves for not valuing the lives of Palestinians but putting so much value on the lives of Israelis.

be ashamed of yourselves for justifying the ethnic cleansing of over 2 million people because Hamas attacked Israel in early October. Be ashamed of yourselves for standing for genocide in 2023!

be ashamed of yourselves for saying we would never allow the holocaust to happen again yet Palestinians are held in an open air prison. It’s literally been called a concentration camp, with no way in or out and they are being rampaged with bombs, white phosphorus bombs being dropped on them non stop. On Sunday night 400 died because of the bombs, over 2000 children are now dead. Be ashamed of yourselves for justifying their deaths and blaming them for it.

be ashamed of yourselves for condoning the protestors for wanting Palestinians to have a right to live a peaceful existence.

be ashamed for bringing history into justifying the slaughter of so many people. Yes, Palestinians did welcome Israelis into the holy land in the 1940’s, it doesn’t mean they get to die now. Yes, Israel has a right to exist, but that doesn’t mean Palestine doesn’t. Yes, Israel has land grabbed and continues to do so but no one is allowed to say anything. Yes, their is no Hamas in the West Bank but why are the Palestinian still being killed. Why are so many people illegally arrested mainly kids - held for decades in Israel prisons. Are they not hostages? Yea, Israel asked asked the Palestinians to move to the south with 24 hours notice for their ‘safety’ yet they are being killed in the south.

be ashamed if you ask any one who stands to defend the rights of Palestinians if they condemn Hamas. Everyone condemns Hamas. Being pro Palestinian doesn’t mean your pro-Hamas. I also condemn the barbarian acts of genocide committed by Israel. I condemn the open displays of hate for Palestinian people - calling them human animals etc.

Be ashamed if you think it’s so great they are letting a trickle of aid in but no fuel to run hospitals. Electricity ran out last night in the hospital. So many babies reliant in incubators will die as a result. be ashamed if you think it’s okay for world leaders to not call for a ceasefire and instead show 100% support to what Israel
is doing.

no one has the right to hold one life more dearer than another.

you should be ashamed of yourselves for valuing some over others.

However when your nation is invaded as Hamas did democratic nations fight back. Most women don't like or support war (or jihad of the military kind for that matter) so I am not surprised many of MN hate it all, but democracy is on the US/UK/Israeli side so it is a just cause to fight those who are against our values of freedom. I was pleased to see the gay flag being shown in the march in London alongside Palestinian ones. I hope those in Gaza including Hamas are equally happy to see that flat shown in protest in Hamas areas and displays of Israeli flags there too. I know which is the better side and if the world were ruled by Hamas it would not be a world in which most of us would want to live.

your getting confused - Hamas is a terror organisation but the Palestinians aren’t. No different from the war crimes being committed by Netanyahu but not by the Israelis people. My friend in Tel Aviv is totally against what her country is doing to the Palestinian people and she isn’t alone.

Honestly, I don’t know how much more they are expected to take. I’ve just seen a little girl with her bowel or some part of her stomach outside her body, and she’s still alive!

People in the Israel part of Palestine are celebrating everytime a bomb goes off. There are videos circulating on socials showing this. Cheers everytime they hear a bomb go off. They have no shame.

This situation is so beyond disgraceful and still the world watches on.

I’m horrified by what’s going on but appreciate you posting some of the things that are going on.
I don’t do Twitter, Facebook etc, so can only get intel from the news sites and at the moment I’m not sure we re being told the entire truth.

It’s so disgusting what’s happening. It’s becoming more and more clear Israeli govt don’t care about freeing the hostages (Hannibal directive I think it’s called), they just want what’s left of the land. They don’t want a 2 state solution - they were literally given parts when they arrived in 1947/8 and have land grabbed and continue to do so. Look at what’s happening in the West Bank right now, they are stealing homes, killing, settlers have been handed guns! My god.

They can do what they want and get away with it. The hostage families are asking the Israeli govt to bring back their hostages, one even said bring them back then continue the war - so why aren’t the Israeli govt listening to their own citizens, the answer is because they don’t care.

honestly, does anyone think they can eliminate Hamas and a new Hamas won’t take their place. How many children have they orphaned in the last 3 weeks! It’s said 85% of Hamas are orphans from previous Zionist murdering sprees. This is clearly not the way to go about it.

This morning they have entered the ground and a video shows them bombing a civilian car, they didn’t even check the car first. Just killed everyone in it.

I’m so saddened by the world for standing by and allowing and enabling this to happen. The only people losing are the Palestinian and Israeli hostages and their families.

I saw that video, it was shocking. The car clearly sees the tank, turns around to drive away from it and they just blow it up. Absolutely shocking. I honestly cannot believe the disregard Israelis seem to have for human life. Barbaric.

No one is disputing Hamas being terrorists but the Palestinian people are the innocent party in this.

Is Hamas and the IDF fighting for control of Tel Aviv? no Hamas did their evil massacre and then went back to Gaza.

Yes 100% Hamas have triggered this latest incursion into Gaza but the IDF response is not even remotely proportionate, the children being blown to bits, the innocent civilians being killed are not responsible for Hamas and have no means to get rid of them, anymore than Iranian women can get rid of their terrible leaders.

What you say in defence of Israel sounds very similar to Putin and how he justifies his armies behaviour in Ukraine.

I see this thread is still revelling in the gore porn of Twitter. Perhaps ask yourselves how this is really helping anyone and what effect these images are meant to have.

Engaging with blame, justification and rhetoric is only going to prolong this situation. If we want peace then we have to ask for peace- not just for one side but for both.

We have actually no idea if the situation on the ground- no context for any of these photos and video or any confirmation of where or when they were taken.

War is grotesque. The only way to stop it is to end the cycles of hate and abuse. By consuming the constant news cycle of shock and horror you are just perpetuating it.

Not sure why anyone would want to prevent knowledge or prevent understanding
Unless there’s an issue here with the reality of what’s going on in Gaza
Or more likely the fact that the reality can no longer be hidden from the public

Well for starters it gives them a voice.
It humanises them as often they are all lumped as one
People seem to be struggling to differentiate between Hamas and innocent civilians
It's a record of the day to day carnage that is taking place in the name of self defence

Now before you jump on me I am not saying that Israel does not have a right to defend itself.
I am saying many of the actions of the Israeli Army or should I say the government have gone far beyond self defence
And I am not alone in saying this either.
