Be ashamed of yourselves

That’s right be ashamed of yourselves. I come in these threads thinking I’ll read someone saying what’s happening to the people of Palestine is awful but what I end up reading is people saying they brought it on themselves because they elected Hamas.

So, what if they elected Hamas. We elected the Conservative party but they don’t speak for me, they certainly don’t act on behalf of the everyday citizen of this country. Be ashamed of yourselves for not valuing the lives of Palestinians but putting so much value on the lives of Israelis.

be ashamed of yourselves for justifying the ethnic cleansing of over 2 million people because Hamas attacked Israel in early October. Be ashamed of yourselves for standing for genocide in 2023!

be ashamed of yourselves for saying we would never allow the holocaust to happen again yet Palestinians are held in an open air prison. It’s literally been called a concentration camp, with no way in or out and they are being rampaged with bombs, white phosphorus bombs being dropped on them non stop. On Sunday night 400 died because of the bombs, over 2000 children are now dead. Be ashamed of yourselves for justifying their deaths and blaming them for it.

be ashamed of yourselves for condoning the protestors for wanting Palestinians to have a right to live a peaceful existence.

be ashamed for bringing history into justifying the slaughter of so many people. Yes, Palestinians did welcome Israelis into the holy land in the 1940’s, it doesn’t mean they get to die now. Yes, Israel has a right to exist, but that doesn’t mean Palestine doesn’t. Yes, Israel has land grabbed and continues to do so but no one is allowed to say anything. Yes, their is no Hamas in the West Bank but why are the Palestinian still being killed. Why are so many people illegally arrested mainly kids - held for decades in Israel prisons. Are they not hostages? Yea, Israel asked asked the Palestinians to move to the south with 24 hours notice for their ‘safety’ yet they are being killed in the south.

be ashamed if you ask any one who stands to defend the rights of Palestinians if they condemn Hamas. Everyone condemns Hamas. Being pro Palestinian doesn’t mean your pro-Hamas. I also condemn the barbarian acts of genocide committed by Israel. I condemn the open displays of hate for Palestinian people - calling them human animals etc.

Be ashamed if you think it’s so great they are letting a trickle of aid in but no fuel to run hospitals. Electricity ran out last night in the hospital. So many babies reliant in incubators will die as a result. be ashamed if you think it’s okay for world leaders to not call for a ceasefire and instead show 100% support to what Israel
is doing.

no one has the right to hold one life more dearer than another.

you should be ashamed of yourselves for valuing some over others.

I cannot believe the world is still allowing this to continue. Every video I see is full of injured or dead children.

The guardian below says the number of children killed in the last 3 weeks in Gaza surpasses the number of children killed across the world conflict zones since 2019.

As of now 8,100 people are dead in Palestine and of this over 4000 are children. The injured are in their thousands.

@Parkingt111 i just posted the same thing as u. It is insane that he can wage a campaign against innocent people in plain sight and get away with it.

I just screen shotted this from someone’s stories but it shows that the people are so hungry and desperate they had to raid the UN food warehouses. Although the person I screen grabbed this from is right how can the UN have food inside Gaza and withhold it from hungry civilians? Corruption everywhere.

Do you think that is why? I just assume they don’t have one warehouse but numerous and with Israel bombing everything I would be worried they’d bomb warehouses like these too. Plus if people are starving right now and not sure if they’d even see tomorrow I can understand why they would do this.

The UN should distribute the food and put more pressure on the international community and Israel to let aid come in.

I also have seen videos of market stalls and mini marts selling food to people. I did wonder why they weren’t giving the food away for free but I’ve also read that the vendors have to buy the food so would need money to do this. Are they buying the food from the UN then? But then if people can’t buy the food. What happens to all that food?

Also, I wonder what’s happened to the food trucks waiting outside? I’ve not seen anything about those, a few people mentioned that it might include perishable items along with the flour, rice etc.

Surely they don’t have to buy food from the UN
Surely it’s just handed out.
UN food is donated,

CosimoPiovasco · 29/10/2023 17:58

@Thisworld10 just picked up an article from The Guardian 13th Nov 2008

During Israel’s attacks on Palestine the UN had to suspend the distribution of aid because of the bombing.
Maybe that’s why some food and aid is still sat in warehouses now, they simply can’t distribute it.

Part of Israels game plan

Thisworld10 · 29/10/2023 18:20

@CosimoPiovasco that would make sense then.

I’ve just found this:

Due to barriers established to separate Israeli and Palestinian land, many Palestinian owned farms have been lost to the Israeli side of borders, and they are forced to try to obtain a permit to use their own land. This prevents Palestinians from being able to plant the food they need to survive. 82.5 percent of Palestinian imports and 55 percent of Palestinian exports come from Israel, forcing Palestinian markets to rely on them. The area known as the buffer zone between Israel and the Gaza Strip extends to around 1,000 kilometers, taking away 29 percent of Gazan farming land. This barrier has severely affected Gazan food security, forcing citizens to rely on Israeli products and international aid.

https://www.wilsoncenter.org/article/food-insecurity-palestine-future-farmers

So Palestinians rely on aid and when they do buy they buy from Israel. Perhaps the owner of the mini marts/markets aren’t allowed to give food away for free or owe Israel money for the food they buy from them and that’s why they can’t give it away for free.

Those supporting Israel, don’t you have the slightest doubt that they might be going about this the wrong way by killing and maiming thousands of civilians and starving them? You can support Israel and not support illegal war crimes and collective punishment. Even families of the hostages are speaking out against the government.

Layla Moran MP is saying her family and friends in Gaza are not fleeing to safety but going to where they would like to die, as no where is safe.

Its easy to see why Russians support Putin and his war crimes in Ukraine, we are no better.

ChickHenLittle · 29/10/2023 18:43

Image from Motaz Azaiza, in Gaza.

Just seemed like a good reminder that these are the people in Gaza who are suffering from the constant bombing and apparently impending ground invasion. A mother playing with her baby, trying to keep some level of normalcy while living in a refugee camp, with no guarantee of safety.

Many thousands of innocent people in Gaza are right now at the brink of death from thirst and hunger😔

Thisworld10 · 29/10/2023 19:35

It’s so ridiculous to see how Israel government spins the narrative to try and get away with its war crimes. Who is even buying what they are saying anymore:

On BBC it says:

Israeli Defence Forces spokesman Daniel Hagari has just been speaking in Tel Aviv.

“The ground campaign is extremely complex. We will do everything possible… in order to ensure that our troops will be safe,” he said.
He accused militants inside Gaza of "carrying out war crimes" and "using the Palestinians in a cynical manner".

"They are using schools, hospitals, and others. They do not want anything other than to use them as a human shield," he said.

——
They’ve bombed so many neighbourhoods and homes and displaced so many people. They have no where to go. They aren’t going to schools, hospitals and other places because they are human shields, they are going there because they have no where else to go. It’s not like they can leave and go into the Israeli occupied areas. This is literally where they have to go. Going to the south is hardly an option as they are getting bombed there aswell.

Oil…..it’s seems Net ( Israel) want all of Palestines oil.
Hence the need to move all the Palestinians out.

There were negotiations in June, clearly things didn’t go well for Israel.
Guessing that’s why Israel have now gone completely overboard with their attacks on Gaza, might as well keep going to achieve the grand plan and then Israel has all of the oil.

This isn’t just about punishment or protection, this is about money and oil.

Why have Hamas helped them engineer this? It's just too convenient and too contrived.

I know what you mean.

Although they’ve known about the oil for ages. I’m thinking this opportunity was just too good to miss.

Id like to know the full and real reason for the US support…….oil again.

Or maybe not so much either want more oil, after all Israel has plenty, it’s more a case of not wanting Palestinians to have the money and independence that oil would give them.

flufferknutter · 30/10/2023 00:06

I think land is more valuable to them than the oil because it's such a small country. They'll drive all the Palestinians out of the West Bank next. They'll cite security concerns because Hamas will have magically infiltrated that area too.

Definitely.
They are already attacking Palestinians in the West Bank again.

They are raiding Jenin right now with their bulldozers. Jenin is in the West Bank - Hamas isn’t even in the West Bank. My god, they are really sinking to lows I could never imagine.

this is not about Hamas, it’s about getting what’s left of the Palestinians land and getting them out of their own homeland.

bloody share you greedy xxxx. Honestly, I bet the Palestinians regret the day they met them.

Honestly, I don’t know how much more they are expected to take. I’ve just seen a little girl with her bowel or some part of her stomach outside her body, and she’s still alive!

People in the Israel part of Palestine are celebrating everytime a bomb goes off. There are videos circulating on socials showing this. Cheers everytime they hear a bomb go off. They have no shame.

This situation is so beyond disgraceful and still the world watches on.

That's a bit of a warped interpretation of what's happening and has been happening on the Israel/Lebanon border for the last 3 weeks

IDF is returning fire from Hezbollah militants in self-defence not in aggression to Lebanon

There is a UN peacekeeping force there as it is a longstanding issue
