The 'rules'

Maintain a relaxed attitude at all times - drink if you want too, especially on your birthday. Thread precedent dictates if you drink to excess you will get a BFP (but not recommended)

Covet thy husband and enjoy every minute. Shag at ever opportunity - shag-capes and awesome superpowers optional.

Resist the lure of ovulation predictor kits, Taking Control of Your Fertility and the dreaded First Repsonse. Knowing where you are in your cycle is entirely permissible though!

Going to the doctor is permitted if you've had a stupidly long cycle but beware of the dildo-cam-scan.

Keep acronmyage to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'.

Keep us up to date with gossip!

Hi truffkin I'm fairly new here too.

I think I've broken a few JSing rules! I'm becoming a bit obsessive I think, so apologies! Blush

I promise I will try not to be so obsessive in future Grin

NoMoreChocBiscuits · 19/08/2010 14:09

Hello Truffkin welcome to the mad house thread. You'l be swinging from the chandeliers with the rest of us in no time Grin.

Well I survived the first day back at toddler group post Summer holiday, with out blurting out just how crappy my Summer turned out to be. The kidney thing was a great smoke screen and I only nearly burst into tears once looking over at all the babies in their corner. Phew! Now I just need to endure the first class of pilates with my very out of shape body and things are back into full normal swing!

milanomum · 19/08/2010 14:09

Takethat So, SO sorry... :( :( :(

LOL at 'Mad Bitch 3000' chip vallinna you wait and see - we'll all lose it eventually. I hope those are pMT symptoms though.

Brassica (in response to your q) - I'm 34 (whispers "and a half") and already have a dd so I know things work - i think it's just a waiting game. Over here, it isn't as easy to get help unless you've been trying for at least a year (or go private and pay someone a fortune!)

I'm on day 2 of period so have shag-cape in the washing machine on a delicate cycle.

Where did 30 go? She's funny and we need a pick 'us' up.

takethatlady · 19/08/2010 14:42

brassica I watched Masterchef too, and as I did so I ate five Mr Kipling's mini Battenbergs. I was also wearing pyjama bottoms and DH's jumper, with no make-up on. If that isn't rock bottom I don't know what is Grin

Had to open the door today to the postman, wearing said get-up. This is NOT shagtastic behaviour!

After that pervy bugger in Tesco's called me 'not bad' yesterday, and after googling 'hyperfertility post-miscarriage', I am now convincing myself that despite slovenly appearance I am in fact a total shag machine. Next month I'm going to bonk my DH all OVER the place. It's gotta be good for the endorphins, anyway...

Any more crazy notions symptoms brassica?

vallinnapod · 19/08/2010 15:58

Nelly - thanks for reminding me that actually either is a HUGE leap forward for me! I am worried it is more psychosymatic (sp?) Grin

OK positive thinking starts......NOW Grin

baby2b · 19/08/2010 16:15

Glad to see the shag capes are back. :) My jsing again day is next wed and I can't wait. Been having the most obscene dreams for the past few nights Blush. Think DH would be missing it more if I was wearing something other than tartan pjs and slipper socks everytime I get back in the house!

So many rules have been broken on here this morning I almost expected to see a 'list' with name, cd, etc... Grin

BrassicaBabe · 19/08/2010 23:12

Work (actually in the office) followed by DH have seriously curtailed MNing today! Will catch up tomorrow Smile

JosieSmith1 · 19/08/2010 23:26

My computer glitched at work while I was on here and I couldn't change over to any other screen! Totally panicked and just switched it off at the mains! Grin. Got away with it, I hope!

Still no ERTD for me yet but in the true JS style I have not PdOAS yet, waiting until sunday in theory

BrassicaBabe · 20/08/2010 08:57

Right, back on the sofa with my laptop. Working. Off to catch up on what I missed...

BrassicaBabe · 20/08/2010 09:51

Nervous there are more broken rules on this thread than intact ones, but we at least try to remain relaxed. Nope, that one's broken too Grin

Cycling affects fertility?! Well, we cycle to/from the pub on a Friday night. Maybe that's our problem!! WinkGrin

Welcome truffkin

I love Sky+ too. It allows me to watch all of my crap stuff without interuption or derisory comments!

Milano - lie! Tell them you've been trying for a year Wink

How are you doing takethat? Have you come out the other side yet? Don't worry, I can look like that on a normal day Grin

LOL at vallinna getting backing into the swing of things and is no longer "dirty dressing down lady" You and takethat could have shared junk food!

No crazy symptoms for me. I've got day 22 blood tests booked for next week. The appointment for x-ray liquid to be squirted into fanjo has come through. So I'm all set to join vallinna on the clomid bench next cycle. Yes, we shagged at the right time, but I just don't feel positive. Not miserable or anything (I'll save that for when AF actually arrives in 10 days or so), but just not getting the "vibe"

JosieSmith1 · 20/08/2010 10:26

Morning.

I have a feeling ERTD is on its way, had some cramping this morning. Sad Just gonna wait and see and not get my hopes up.

Good luck to everyone else too Smile

baby2b · 20/08/2010 10:31

Morning ladies, just having a cup of tea with toast....I'm so posh at breakfast, lol.

How is everyone today? My AF arrived this morning which is sooner than expected, but now I'm not sure if I should ttc js this month or if it will be too much disappointment Confused.

Brasica and Vallinna do you have special uniforms?! Grin

vallinnapod · 20/08/2010 10:40

Howdy viroids!

Killing time Working hard until lunch when I have the camera shoved up my chuff again. Spoke to uber helpful consultant yesterday (clearly not mine...!) I think they are going to give me more Clomid and combine it with Metformin. This is a diabetes drug to deal with insulin resistance but apparently PCOS can have this which in turn stops the Clomid form working so effectively. We shall see.

Still Brassica I am jealous they are going to tie dye your bits Grin

Stinking hangover today after about 3 glasses of wine. Whoopsie....!

Truffkin · 20/08/2010 10:44

Morning everyone, I'm mumsnetting until my friend arrives to visit at lunchtime working from home today so thought I'd come along and say hi!

Fingers crossed for you Josie and LOL at getting away with mumnetting at work!

Still no sign of ERTD, now a month after Implanon removal. We were planning to enjoy JS using condoms making the most of my increased sans hormone libido, but kind of ditched them after not very much effort because they were a pain careful consideration.

Who knows what's going on down there? Will hopefully learn more as the months go by.

Have a great Friday girls and woo hoo, it's the weekend!

Truffkin · 20/08/2010 10:46

Ok, any clues as to why the strike through thing doesn't work when I try it? I can bold and underline and even italic things so why not strikethrough? Is there a special secret underlining hypen that I've missed until now on my keyboard or am I just being an absolute nodger?

Truffkin · 20/08/2010 10:47
Blush

So, it seems I've cracked it, will leave this thread alone for a while so someone else gets the chance to join in (slinks off quietly hoping no one laughs at impatience / incompetence combo)

BrassicaBabe · 20/08/2010 10:49

truffkin you need to do the -- after each seperate word

baby2b · 20/08/2010 11:01

Vallinna just spat my tea out laughing at the use of the word chuff Grin

baby2b · 20/08/2010 11:16

Truffkin sorry if this is patronising...you know you can get pregnant before your first AF after implanon?! :)

BrassicaBabe · 20/08/2010 11:19

Sorry for AF b2b Sad So back on with the shag cape?

Josie it's enough to drive you mad this waiting around.

You must have your own bench in the clinic now vallinna Wink I'm glad you found someone who was able to talk sense for a change.

Yeah, for tie-dyed fanjo! I am a true 70s chick Grin No appointment yet, I've got to call to make an appointment on CD1.

What normally happens after the impant removal truffkin? Is it like the depo injection? It took me a few months to get back to normal after depo. Hang in there. I say, don the shag cape and get going just in case Wink Well done for mastering the full range of clever doofahs and whatsits

baby2b · 20/08/2010 11:26

I'm not sure Brassica, kind of thought I had another couple of weeks of self pity before putting on the glamtastic cape again. Just realised it's after 11 and I'm still in my pj's and have done no housework. Shock

BrassicaBabe · 20/08/2010 11:32

ooooh, watching mistresses! Great ending.

JosieSmith1 · 20/08/2010 11:32

Ha ha, loving the chuff! We use that here in Newcastle, never heard fanjo though! Grin Loving it!

Cramps have stopped for now so fingers crossed.

My friend at work just told me she's taking a year out from November. I really really hope I can give her some good news before she goes! Now I'm feeling super emotional, it's been a hard few days! Found out yesterday my friend had her horse put to sleep so was upset about that, now matey-ho is leaving, waaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!

BrassicaBabe · 20/08/2010 11:44

Have a duvet day b2b. I usually avoid trackie bottoms like the plauge, but I'm having a wash day. Love working from home! Grin

Poor you josie. Things are all over the place for you.

JosieSmith1 · 20/08/2010 11:52

Thanks Brassica, I just asked my friend if you can get cramping when you're pg and she said you get whirly pain and indigestion! What the hell does that mean! Grin

I'm really up and down at the minute cos I'm really desperate and when the cramping starts I'm convinced ERTD is coming but then it stops and there's no sign! Don't know what to think. Just wish it could be tomorrow and I could be officially late and ready to POAS!

Step away from the obsessing! Grin
