Had my docs appointment this morning and have been booked in for a scan tomorrow morning. Really nervous. I hate not knowing what is going on with my body and just want to get back to jsing :)

Vallinna, sorry for your shitty day. Days like that always need to be met with booze and cake. But yay for DH's swimmers, to repeat what someone else said, and I'd say don't worry that they want you to keep coming in for scans (aside from the financial worry of it). I'm sure it's because your lining etc. might be changing, and it might get back to normal soon all by itself. They probably just want to do a dildo-diary to make sure. It's a step forward, I'm sure. Grrrrrr for stupid nurses who answer their phones pre-insertion. If a man did that to me I'd tell him insertion wasn't going to happen! Let alone a nurse. Take a wet kipper next time :)

Brassica - they may do blood tests tomorrow and if the have a sonographer around you may get that the same day too. Other than that, lots of talking about periods (or lack of)! They'll ask about female relatives history too if you know it (well, any problems!). They will also freak your DH out by mentioning words like 'period', 'ejeculation' and my personal favourite...refer to sex as 'making love'. I am not opposed to the term but from a medical professional it made both of us smirk! Don't be nervous, you'll feel like you have taken a massive step forward

I think if they mention "making love" I'll answer each question using "sex" as a preferred term. How many questions about ejactulation can there be?! Other than do you/don't you?

What are the shagging and dildo-cam rules? As in, has it got to be avoided?

Hi Brassica - yep, am now 3-5 days late. Peed on 2 sticks on 1 day early and day I expected AF to show, both BFN.

Vallinnapod I keep prodding myself in the stomach already thanks (to see if I have any AF cramps/usual bloated feeling)! I don't, but I'm going to have to stop it before I do myself an injury!

Oh, and surely the medical term is 'just shagging.....'!

Hi everyone, haven't been on over the weekend so just catching up.

Congrats to all those with BFPs. I am now waiting until I can test, it will be a long wait, and I refuse to buy tests until nearer the time because last time I wasted a tonne of money buying them and doing them, knowing fine well it was too early and they would be BFNs. Fingers crossed for the looooong wait!

Brassica dildocam III (last Tuesday) was a surprise and we had JSed the night before no comment was made!

30 stop proding!! I did genuinely yell "Stoopid uterus! Work!" at it last night DH was out!

Poor deluded DH. I told him I was nervous about tomorrow. I got "It'll be fine...I bet it'll only be a few questions and formalities".

I phoned Mum to tell her I was buying a baby gate to stop our elderly dog falling down the stairs again and she (wistfully) asked if I ws pg before I got a chance to explain it was for the dog! I felt really guilty! When the time comes I'll be round with DH, having a panic attack, not ringing her calmly!

No, it was just a one week holiday. I have to wait 48 hours to get my blood tested again, then depending on the results either it will miscarry naturally or I will need an injection. It's been a scary day as they were talking about the possible need for surgery and removing one of my ovaries at one point. I thought it was just a routine check.

Going to have an early night as I have a sore head from crying. Sorry for just dumping this on here, don't really have anyone to talk to about it. xx

Fuck knows what is going on body-wise here. AF, or so I thought, arrived on Sunday night, never really got going, and has now gone. Was pretty much just brown and dryish. But was only a few days after pant snot. Am fed up, as have NO IDEA what is going on or where I am in cycle.

To top it all off, I have a headache. Gah. Early night, I think.
