Keep acronmyage to a minimum! EWCM is now to be referred to as 'pant snot'.

Really sorry it didn't work out this month brassica. But every month is a month closer to BFP I reckon. Glad you've booked that appointment - but we're going to twist your arms behind your backs and carry you there kicking and screaming on the 11th if you try to back out again!

I did POAS but I am an idiot because my original pant snottage predictor was correct. Had a bit Thurs and Fri, lots more Sat and Sun along with the cramps, and then on Tingly Boob Monday I was a veritable snot machine - of the 'put a coin in my mouth, and out it comes' level of intensity. Now it's def gone, and my temps have been up the last two days. Good news is we bucked the Shag Bronco every day, so fingers crossed for my 2ww. Bit fucked off though that I seem to be settling into 47 day cycles . I have to wait 5 weeks for the 2ww! If only you could ovulate by mind control.

Brassica - GL for next week. Is it your first appt outside the GP? It'll be the fun and games of blood tests and dildo cams probably....ahhh the joys! Plus your DH will get the chance to spunk in a cup! Mine goes tomorrow for that particular joy, I pointed out it was easier than what I had to go through and FAR easier than trying to pee in a cup to dip a PG test in!

Only been off the pill for two months and after spending a fortune on tests waaaaay too early and getting disappointed each time, I've decided just to go with the flow. All these charts and temp monitoring isn't for me, way too technical and I think when it gets to that point you're starting to stress about it so not worth it.

2 week wait - the gap between ovulation and period turning up

DH and I will def be going for our appt on the 11th. It's just such a PITA as the hosp is at least an hour away off-peak and our appointment is at 0930! Although I really should be grateful that we've got an appointment. I had blood tests with the GP which showed I was not ovulating, but secreat POAS seems to suggest this has changed which is why I was putting the appt off. So I think we're starting from the beginning. I just know they are going to want me to give up the wine. I will seriously have to consider: baby or sauv blanc, baby or sauv blanc? Some evenings I think I might struggle!

Also the question is, do you help him jizz in a cup or leave him to it alone?!

Sod it 30 I say if peeing in kitchen receptacles makes you feel better then go for it! Just expect the BFN at this stage then you can keep the mentalness in check.

Brassica no one has once mentioned stopping the booze...I alluded to drinking more than is probably correct and she said she assumed I would be cutting down as TTC. Which is true, however up until now I have sort have thought 'oh sod it'. Until mini-me implants the booze consumption has no affect on the future bub..although that said I am not drinking now the clomid has started as I don't want it to fail and then me kick myself for being indulgent (even just the one)

Our clinic is not hugely far from us (but is from work so all these scans are involving loooonnnnnggg lunches) so it means if DH wanted he could spunk in a cup and get it to them within the hour. He rides a scooter so I'd have images of Ben Elton in Maybe Baby! He's manned up though and will do the deed, solo, at the clinic tomorrow. Poor man, he gets stage fright peeing in urinals so he could be there a while [simle] One hint of a whinge and I will point out I have had 3 sessions with the dildo cam so far and several more to come!

Well you will all be glad to hear i resisted POASing today, truthfully i'm 99% sure i'm not pg, absolutely no hint of a twinge of a symptom, and i've started spotting which usually happens before AF.
So I cba to get out of bed, find receptacle & test & go and do it just to get an expected BFN.

If no Af by...CD 34 or 35 then i may give in again.

This thread makes me laugh! Just what you need eh? And it's made me realise that I'm not alone! Before my last AF I was POAS for days beforehand, knowing that I'd get a BFN and I thought I was going mad, but by the sounds of it you lot do it too so I'm just normal really!

P.S. at the risk of being shot down, is it against the rules to check an ovulation chart so that you've got a rough idea when you're ovulating?

Brassica WTF!! is what I thought yesterday when I pee'd in my little pot. It was full of floaters. But thanks to the power of google I know now it's perfectly normal, we just don't normally notice as we don't normally pee into little plastic pots and have a good look

AF is now in day 7 of not showing up-ness.

I've got nothing to report 3 days into the motherf*ing 2ww. Going drinking Friday and Saturday - once for champagne and dessert at colleague's house, once at Folk Week where my parents live (mainly a drinking fest, joined in by some 'folk' who camp nearby, sell crafts, and occasionally do some morris dancing). Planning on not getting drunk [secretly knowing I definitely will ]. I say, drink while you still can! (Drink while you think, drink while you are still young enough to get away with it, drink when you're old and no-one cares anymore .... etc etc.)

Anyway, I'm off to buy some Gu puds so I can PIAR in 10 days' time (Pee in a Ramekin being much more ladylike than POAS, which is really P half OAS, a quarter on my hands, and a quarter all over the loo seat). Who knew Gu was a conception aid? Sod the agnus castus, I'm going for chocolate mousse.

Loving the spunking in a cup. Do you think there's an equally guilty 'I'm addicted to SIAC thread' on Dadsnet in some alternative universe? (You can just imagine it.
