Hello rubberduckies, any ideas why your cycles are irregular? Have you come off contraception?

Well, according to my calendar I would be ov-ing today as my period is due in 14 days. have noticed a twingey ache on the right hand side today and am fascinated to think it might be ov and that my body is actually doing what it's supposed to. Had sex yesterday but don't know if will be able today as going out and DH not around now. If I didn't have sex today, but did yesterday what are the chances of getting pregnant. I know once the egg's gone that's it, but some sperm can stick around can't they?

takingtheplunge the particularly determined, resilient little buggers can stick around for days and days apparently, so girl done ok SWIing the day before OV I reckon. Oh, and my cycles are irregular because I have Polycystic Ovaries, boo.

I have been chasing ds around a 2nd birthday party all afternoon which my dp ducked out of because of the football, so I intend to get pretty tipsy myself now loopymumsy. Crack open the Pimms please for my bus persona and I'll be doing the same in RL in about 5 mins

I've been better.

After AF turning up yesterday, I went a bit heavy on the wine last night . I felt completely blotto after half a glass but carried on drinking, of course.

Consequently, I'm sitting here nursing a hangover (not envious face, you understand, but pukey face)

8rubberduckies I have pcos too and for the first time EVER have had 3 AF in something like a recognisable pattern! 5 weeks then 6 weeks as the gaps, its the closest i have ever had them and its getting my hopes up so fingers crossed!

Hey Ladies

sorry not been on bus since Friday had busy weekend what with the :-( result of the football - bloody overpaid primadonnas!

Having really bad AF cramps, really hoping PG cones soon nice 9mths free of that.

Hope everyone had a good weekend and are enjoying all the gorgeous sunshine?!

hello all! gingerwench did you used to be on the May 2008 post natal thread? It's me Macaco...that'll mean nothing to you if I've got the name wrong!

colleague from work has just had a baby girl and given her a name from our shortlist if DS had been a girl ...sigh..broody.
Sounds like she had a hard pregnancy and a difficult birth tho, not so of that. .

Hi all

Well, I am back, for those of you that remember me from the Feb bus. Sadly had another chem preg - today is my first day of v heavy bleeding after spotting since last Friday.
Although I am not testing negative just yet, I expect I will be soon.
Going to sit quietly at the back, as not entirely sure we will TTC this cycle, but I hope to persuade DH in a week or two that it is a good idea.
Even though we have been ttc ages I have put myself back on cycle 1 - it did work even if it didn't stick.

Rockbird · 29/06/2010 11:33

Oh delilahbelle I'm so sorry Absolutely it worked so cycle 1 it is.

I'm running along behind the bus, still being on cycle 2. The only good thng about being in limbo like this is that had AF arrived on Friday then my next two windows of opportunity both coincided with holidays where we are staying with family and sharing a room with DD so no chance of any SWI or SFF whatsoever.

But I'm fed up with constantly being on the alert and nothing.

Prinpo · 29/06/2010 12:16

Delilah, I'm so sorry to see you back. How are you doing? This can be such a heart-wrenching process, can't it. I'll move my enormous backside so you can stretch out a bit.

Rockbird, still no news? At least you've avoided the horror of trying to have SWI whilst staying with family - guaranteed passion killer!

Hello to everyone who's hopped on. I'm feeling bored bored bored. I hate this stage. Actually, I hate all of the stages (except the SWI, but even that can get a bit tiresome after a while ).

ljg72 · 29/06/2010 12:18

Sorry Delilahbelle, remember you from the feb bus, hope you are being looked after and taking things easy...

I'm taking a leaf out of your book and putting this down as my 2nd cycle since mc.

delilahbelle · 29/06/2010 13:06

Hi all, thanks for the sympathy. Hopefully this bus will be a lucky one, here's for a short stay.

Prinpo I agree with hating all stages... waiting to SWI, waiting for AF... I really shouldn't wish my life away.

By my calculations I will next be due OV when DH is away with friends for the weekend (Silvestone GranPrix and a boys weekend, yawn) so I am hoping that this chem preg pushes OV back by a few days. Unlikely though as I am as regular as f-ing clockwork.

Sorry to hear that Delilah. That's crap.

It's just occurred to me that this is my first 2 ww. It's really boring, isn't it? don't think there's been nearly enough sex to get a BFP, so don't think it'll be a very exciting month. Probably why it's boring.
