Hi girls, this is the new, combined thread. I figured that only those lucky enough to manage it this month would make it into spring, so I'm aiming for a big summer belly. Good luck to all of us!

Hi all

Artoo - hope you have a great time in wales, holidays are grest for bd'ing

Jersey, thats ab fab news for you and dh you can relax now

Hope everyone else is ok.

ok now for my news, looks like you are stuck with me guys - sorry

went to see the second doctor, he was great got sent to the early pregnancy unit and saw a nurse and she talked things through with me, she was really nice, my hormones had only gone up by 6 in 48 hours last week and she said this indicated a eptopic preg, she took more blood to see what the hormone was doing. She rang me at home this aft and said that i had miscarried (which i thought last friday), the hormone was practically back to 0 she said. so thats it me and dh have said we will try again almost immediatly. We are ok and not really that upset my mums friend who is dying of cancer said if its meant to be then its meant to be if not then not and i agree, just glad its all over and we can start bding again - at least we know we can do it naturally unlike what we thought when trying for ds. going away tomorrow for a long weekend and i can drink lol

LilacLotus · 07/09/2005 21:01

On a brighter note, but bound to make me even more broody!!

My SIL gave birth this morning to twin girls 6lb 13 and 7lb 8 by C-Section. Big for twins I think!!

Artoo · 08/09/2005 12:18

Awww that's lovely news jersey My SIL is due mid-December (she's only having one though thank goodness!), and I'm really looking forward to the new arrival

Hugs,
Artoo.

homemama · 08/09/2005 12:47

Hi girls, just popping on to check in.
Sorry to here your news, Puppy.
Congrats to your SIL, Jersey!
Im on CD14 today and I've been OVing the last two days but haven't BDed once as we're both in manic move house mode this week. So I guess I'll be around for at least another month!

Hi feeling very down again, even with the good news this week, don't know why. Just so exhausted all the time. Could be a build up of work a 1 yr old and housekeeping. Hope the holiday helps.

Roll on November/December.

Sorry girls didn't want to turn this thread depressing again!!

Worriedbev · 08/09/2005 13:48

Homemama
You never know, it only takes one bed, not loads, as I found out very recently when I got my BFP in July. Hope it works out for you.
Bev

staceym11 · 08/09/2005 17:30

Hi am i welcome to come in?

I may have different circumstances than many of you but have read through the whole thread today and feel exactly the same, this is mine and my dhs first month of ttc and im trying not to get obsessed, im only young and managed to concieve dd while on pill and using condoms, still got a bloody great yearning to buy and do tests and keep bding all the time!!!!

We had a small let down when we thought that we had concieved acctidently but tested day before af due and BFN, then af came and now ready to start again! hehe

LilacLotus · 08/09/2005 19:54

welcome and good luck staceym11!

Artoo · 08/09/2005 21:34

Dana · 09/09/2005 08:01

Morning all.

Puppy, really sorry it didn't stick , but glad to see you are being positive.

Staceym11, welcome and good luck. Hope it happens quickly for you.

Jersey, great news about your DH (and SIL too). Sorry to hear you are feeling a bit down yourself, but don't feel bad about talking about it on here. That's what we are here for!!

Homemama, I was wondering where you had got to. Hope the move is going well. Sure next month will be your month - new house, new baby and all that

DH has been sick for 3 days. High temperatures and not sleeping well. Hope he gets better soon, cause I need some sleep zzzzzzzzz.

jersey · 09/09/2005 08:24

Welcome Staceym11 hope your stay is a short one, Good Luck xxxxx

jersey · 09/09/2005 14:23

staceym11 · 09/09/2005 18:07

Artoo · 10/09/2005 06:04

DH and I are holiday in Wales at the moment -good news is the house we are staying in has a phone line, so I have Internet access, although not at the high speeds I am used to

CD9 today, so we are BD-ing every other day and I'm watching out for any fertility signs.

Not much sun yesterday, but we were travelling so that was fine. Hoping for some good weather for the next week though

Hugs,
Artoo.

LilacLotus · 10/09/2005 12:38

hi girls, on cd 12 here. and strangely my breasts (or buckles as DD calls them!) are so sore again. but i haven't even ovulated yet, so it's very weird. we haven't BDed yet this cycle. i have taken my temperature for the last week and it very low still.

staceym11 · 11/09/2005 10:03

HI everyone, only on cd 3 today, and only on first month of trying and im fed up already, i suppose the longer it takes (within reason) the better, as dd is only 10month old! lol

staceym11 · 11/09/2005 10:40

COme on anyone here this morning, could do with asking some tips!!!! my dd was concieved by accident, while on the pill and using condoms but not sure what to do to try for a baby (sounds really stupid!!!)

puppy · 11/09/2005 19:13

Hi all

Welcome staceym11 and goodluck with conception

artoo - hope your having a great time and fingers crossed for the weather amongst other things

hows everyone else doing?

well we got back this morning but not in time to pick dogs up from kennels oops fancy a kennels that closes its gates at 12. we have decided that if we haven't got an awning for the dogs when we go away next time then we will find another boarding kennel, feel guilty leaving them in there even though they love going.
weather was gorgeous for the first day then absolutely chucked it down for the rest of the weekend, they had cut the grass on the site so spend half the time hoovering grass clippings that was dragged into the caravan from the kids lol

Dh and i have had a good talk about things and just have to wait till my af returns to try again as we don't know where we are in the cycle, so i'm not leaving this thread unless you all boot me out of it he he

staceym11 · 12/09/2005 09:42

Anyone around this morning, feels like i turn up everyone leaves! lol

Dana · 12/09/2005 10:36

Hi Stacey, this thread is just a bit quiet at the moment - quite sure it's not personal It gets busier towards testing time. We seem to all be at the beginning of or mid-cycle just now.

There are some things you can do to try and pinpoint ovulation like temping, using ovulation kits, checking your CM etc. Fertilityfriend.com is meant to be a good starting point with lots of good advice and a chart to track your temps and CM.
We are still at the "taking it as it comes" stage and on 3rd cycle. We BD every or every second day from about CD10 and for 2-3 weeks as my cycles have been long (45/42 days) but don't know how long the next will be iyswim.

I am getting a bit impatient too!!

Hope that helps.

MandM · 12/09/2005 10:54

Hello everyone!

Just thought I'd pop in and check how everyone is and say hello!

Sorry to hear about waht happened Puppy - hope you're feeling OK.

Good luck to everyone for this month. Seems like it will be busy in a few weeks time when you're all testing. Fingers crossed

I'm feeling fine. First midwife appointment tomorrow and I'm hoping to be able to talk her into getting me an early scan. No consultant appointment yet, but it must be anytime soon, as my CVS will be at 11 weeks and I'm 8 weeks already !

Got a definite 'roundness' to my normally flat tummy, boobs are huge (which dh thinks is fantastic!) and my jeans feel tight round the waist. It's only going to get worse !

'Speak' to you all soon
