Hi girls, this is the new, combined thread. I figured that only those lucky enough to manage it this month would make it into spring, so I'm aiming for a big summer belly. Good luck to all of us!

May have to put our trying back even further as DH may be facing redundancy!!!!!! Ill have to stay working if it happens. Waiting for a big meeting this morn., fingers crossed its not what they think.

Jersey, how did your DH's meeting go today. I hope it is nothing. Has there been talk of cut-backs or how did this come about?

Hi Dana, it is redundancy. Notice given today of assessment for. Those being made redundant will be told on wed this week and will leave on friday! We go on holiday next monday, so I suppose we will know one way or the other by then.

Sorry jersey post crossed. I hope it won't be your DH. There must be a horrible atmosphere at his work. So you will know this wednesday? Does he have any idea of what way it will go?

He has been told by his boss that he should be ok because he can cover both areas they are looking to lose someone in, so stands a better chance of staying! But, you never know, he was told just over a week ago that it wasn't going to be redundancy!!! So until wed. we just don't know.

Hope your DH is OK jersey, although I do believe redundancy can be a very positive thing. My DH was made redundant 6 years ago, and it gave him the kick he needed to start his own business.

The waiting is always the worst part though, once you know either way you'll be able to make plans to deal with it.

jersey, good luck for you and your DH on wednesday. my DP was made redundant a couple of years ago but got to work in a different part of the depot he worked in and has now climbed up to being a manager. sometimes these things do bring some good stuff. if he does get redundancy, will he get a good redundancy pay?

puppy, how are you feeling? i've been worried about you.

not much news here. AF is on her way out. DP is eager to start again. his sister is 35 weeks pregnant. we went to her house today as it was her son's birthday and i had a sneaky look into her nursery and got so so broody at the sight of all the cute baby things.

is anyone due or testing soon?

I'm sorry I haven't been around much recently - our computer died a dramatic death but has now (finally) been resurrected by a very clever DH!!!!

I've been trying to catch up with everyones news,

Lovecloud - not sure if you're still lurking but CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Puppy - really very sorry to hear about the emotional rollercoaster you and your body has been on, hope you're coping ok?

Artoo - pleased to hear you've heard back from the dr eventually! Let the bd'ing commence (well, after af obviously...!!)

Jersey - I have my fingers crossed for you and your DH for wed. As Artoo says, although excruciating to play the waiting game, sometimes in the long run it can actually turn out to be a positive kick in the right direction...

Littlestarsweeper - hope you have a fab time at Pontins, have my toes crossed for you (fingers crossed for jersey!! )

I'm so sorry I've missed loads of people out - just can't keep up having missed 2 weeks!!!!

Nothing much happening with me, still trying to keep a record of temps but not convinced its going to tell me anything. DH has gone away with work for a week now anyway so all is put on hold for the time being!!

Hope everyone else is ok??

Jersery i am keeping everything crossed for you that your dh is not made redundant

so did everyone have a good weekend, sorry i have not been on, brought the caravan out of storage and been cleaning/buying things for it so we can actually use it lol. we have had it two years been in storage all the time and have only used it once - now i work for myself and not working shifts anymore we can get away in it, we are going to skegness on thursday in it can't wait, put my feet up and get dh to do everything - like that will happen he he
Another reason i have not been on is that dh bought me a nintendo ds so been playing games alot - i am such a big kid

the serious stuff:
I am going to try and see a different doctor on wednesday i would have gone today but ended up in a+e with my son he fell into a brick wall and developed quite a large 'egg' on his forehead he is ok though only cryed initially and soon was back to his self he is proud of his egg and when my mum visited today ran over to her to show her it bless him, i am working tomorrow so it will have to be wednesday,
the doctor that was dealing with me was useless in my and dh opinion and has been no help besides sending me for blood tests he would not even take my word for it that i was pregnant.
I had a second blood test taken on friday and do not know the the result of it. The bleed only lasted 24 hours and was red blood, with cramping i persume it was a miscarriage but do not know for certain, but hopefully i will get checked over properly on wed.

Puppy, have been thinking a lot about you. All this uncertainty must be awful. Hopefully you will know one way or another tomorrow and hope this other GP will be a bit more helpful.
Sounds great going to Skeggness with the caravan. How long are you going for?

Good luck puppy with the new doctor. We have a static caravan new skegness and go when we can to escape from everything.

My SIL was due to be induced with her twins yesterday and told at last minute they where too busy, should be going in today. Thats going to make me broody big time! We where hoping she would have them before we go away on monday. It will be some good news this week.

waves I'm still around, although DH and I are off to Wales for a week on Friday, so I'm busy trying to get work finished off before then.

Hopefully next week should be our best time for BD-ing, so I'm hopuing being relaxed and on holiday will help

Thanks for the response I was very down yesterday. We go on hols on monday for a week so hopefully that will help things and we will know today if DH is getting made redundant or not!

Will be on later as I have a meeting this morning.

Oh jersey that is great news!! Obviously sad for those who are being made redundant, but that must be a big relief for you and your DH, and hopefully this puts you back on course for your TTC later this year
