Baba you certainly can get pregnant like that, my mum did ! Jemma7 we are in the same boat except I already have a dd but still can't remember all the signs. Splash, it sounds promising ! I know what you mean though. I had a big dizzy spell last night and keep getting little pains in my womb. It's amazing how the imagination runs riot. I've always found ClearBlue quite good in the past. They are all so expensive though aren't theyh ?

How strange splash - i had implantation bleeding on day 19 of cycle - I am now on day 28 and have developed thrush over the last few days! What does this mean?
Surely having all these symptoms must mean something - dizzyness, thumping headache's, runny nose, dull ache in tummy, 1 day bleed, tiredness - surely this all can't be in my head - if it is i think i should start worrying

Do you normally get thrush when PG then ? I didn't before. I have just squeezed my boobs in the loo coz they are so sore and clear globules of fluid coming out. I had these near the end with DD before the colustrum. Has my active imagination led my boobs to leak ?!

That's what i don't know Tillysmummy - had never heard of getting thush when pregnant - wondered if that was another sign?
Surely thats good that boobs are sore - doesn't help that mine are usually sore before a/f arrives!
As my cycles varies from beteen 28-40 days when do u think i should do a test if today is day 28?

Yes sore boobs is good sign but could well just be because my period is due. I don't know the answer about testing because your cycle is unpredictable. I would say test in a couple of days maybe ? Pregnancy hormones will only get stronger. Also if you test too early it can be negative cos it was with dd and then tested 3 weeks later and it was positive. I guess if it is day 28 for you now though then you can go ahead and start testing now.

yes. You can buy the same ones as in chemists at a cheaper price or go for the really cheap bulk buy, which are just the sticks without the plastic casing as chemist bought ones are. i havent got preg yet so cant comment on those tests, but the ov certainly work. i think they are more sensitive actually. have a look and just see what you fancy. they delivered to me in 2 days

Good advise Egypt - i was looking on there yesterday but was a bit reluctant as i had never heard of it before but now u have mentioned it i will give it a go!
I do want to do a test but i am the same as most, spend loads on test each month just to be shot down in flames - want to try and leave it as long as possible because if i am the hormone will only get stronger but am so desperate to know, don't know if i can contain myself.

I know what you mean - i get so excited. I got a negative this month and also got my P but it only lasted for a day, so now i am thinking - maybe i AM pregnant and i just bled by mistake! Should i test again!?! But its soooo easy to test test test when you buy these strips from the site cos they are soooo cheap! Go for it! Just don't get carried away like moi

by the way, i bought the ACON ovulation predictor tests and ACON early pregnancy tests. You have to dip the stick in your wee which i niiiiiice, but its OK. it still works!

Jemma7 I think you should definitely test ! But if its not then leave it a week and then test again. Egypt. I had two light periods when pregnant with dd and so didn't even know. I also bled after that and the doctor thought I was miscarrying but wasn't.

Excellent advise girls - why is nothing ever straight forward though! why can it not just be black and white without all this umming and ahhing in between!

Oh now you've got me excited!! i should wait til the morning though i spose. chances are i'm not as have polycystic ovaries and doc says i will need fertility treatment. Got to have progesterone tests to see if i ov this month - but maybe i won't need them!! wishful thinking!:0

Egypt don't be disheartened. I had polycystic ovaries and still had dd successfully.

thats a good sign tillysmummy. did you use clomid? how did you conceive? are u using anything now?

Egypt, didn't use anything - to be honest I hadn't seen my gynae for about a year and when I saw him he said I would probably need clomid. Then a year later I came off the pill and we were supposed to wait 3 months according to the doc and I think I conceived more or less straight after coming off the pill.

Thats great news. You sound as though you may have a postitive this month, with you boobs and things. I think we should all test! Sorry, getting carried away again. Good luck anyway!
