splash · 22/08/2003 07:06

congratulations bunny Im so happy for you!!! brilliant news. Are you getting any symp yet. jemma how are you getting on?

hana · 22/08/2003 08:42

Oh how wonderful for your Bunny2. You must be thrilled to bits. After logging on and reading your great news I'm feeling a little better........I've just found out that yet another friend is pregnant. That makes 8 friends expecting at the moment and 3 who have had babies in the past month. I'm feeling just so very pi**ed off that it's not me, and I do get angry about having lost my baby. I know it's random and a chance event and everything, but why me? Twice now. I sometimes feel that I'll never have another baby and everyone else has loads.
I'm glad there are people like Bunny2 though that do share their happy news.........best of luck for the next 8 months or so!

Hana, I feel the same honey bun. I'm delighted for all the successes here - really am. Some people have gone through a lot to get it. I went to baby gym yesterday with my dd and there were 4 out of 7 women pg. I hate it. Keep strong - our turn will come. Hugs xxxxxxxxxx

hewlettsdaughter · 22/08/2003 09:34

Hana, sorry you're feeling this right now. I have felt angry like you, too. Thinking of you xxx

Egypt · 22/08/2003 09:43

Ahh, Hana. I've never m/c but do share your feelings about thinking 'why me?' It just seems so easy for everyone else around you. It is such comfort and support to come on here and hear that others are feeling the same though. Keep your chin up. You know that you can conceive so in a way you are further down the road to success than many. Take care xxxxxxx

BigBird · 22/08/2003 09:47

congrats bunny2

Has anyone here heard of Angus Castus for boosting fertility and helping with irregular cycles? I'm gonna read up some more on it now.

LucieB · 22/08/2003 09:49

Bunny2, thats wonderful news. Take good care of yourself.

Jemma7 · 22/08/2003 09:51

jodee · 22/08/2003 10:43

Bunny2 - FANTASTIC!!! All the best for the rest of your pregnancy and glad the house move is done and dusted for you (still waiting for our chain to complete and it's off to B'muff for us too!)

Hana, so sorry you are feeling low, but our time will come!

After some thought I've decided against posting on here with any 'good' news in the future, after making an announcement last year and then m/c at 8 wks, but will be following all the others' happy news with excitement!

Jemma7 · 22/08/2003 10:50

Firstly, just want to say how much i love Mumsnet and everyone on here!

Anyway, i did post on the other thread but here goes...................

I'm really regreting it now but i didn't test............kept telling myself to stop being inpatient and wait for a little while longer.

Now i've Bunny's wonderful news i wish i had now - Grrrrrrrr, very angry with myself!

As i said ont he other thread CONGRATULATIONS BUNNY
As far as feeling sick goes - Yes horrendously (sp)!!
I don't understand it really becuase usually if i don't eat for long period's of time i feel sick and light headed - however, i am waking up in the mornings feeling sick now.
It's a feeling as in "Oh my god i'm going to throw up" it's more like what i get when i haven't eaten for a long time - sort of an empty feeling!
Alos, DP said to me last night that i seem very strange lately as if i'm not really with it and as if i'm on another planet!

Oh, so confused - why is nothing ever simple!

bunny2 · 22/08/2003 11:17

You're all so lovely, I'm in tears again. Thank you for all your support, it's wonderful.

Hana, we can all sympathise here. I had a m/c nearly 2 years ago, at the time my 2 b/f were pregnant and I had lots of "why me?" moments. At Mumsnet I am so happy to hear of succes stories but I have often cried when yet another member has announced her good news because I have been left thinking everybody is getting lucky except me. Persevere and one day you will get the news you have been waiting for.

Jemma, go on!!!

Egypt · 22/08/2003 11:26

yes go on jemma. nothing will change the outcome by doing the test, you either are or you aren't and it will surely show up by now if you are. feeling this sick must surely be a sign. I know you want to keep optimistic but if you arent preg, the longer you leave it to find out the more gutted you will be. Pleassse do one! I think you are very patient, but it will stop your worrying.

hewlettsdaughter · 22/08/2003 11:38

BB, I heard of agnus castus recently, when my mum was here looking on the net for natural alternatives to HRT. I see from what really works that it is meant to act as a regulator of hormones.

Egypt · 22/08/2003 11:44

yes i heard that agnus castus is sposed to be brill. went to get some then read on the label that it says 'not to be taken during pregnancy'. then i thought, well what about the first two weeks of preg when you dont know, but are still taking the stuff! Stupid i know, but thats my paranoid, pessimistic side coming out. what do others think? maybe its fine for a short time. just not all the way through.?

Jemma7 · 22/08/2003 11:47

I will definitely do it tonight..............promise.

Make sure u all keep everything crossed for me and if it is good news i will come into work over the weekend and tell you.

quackers · 22/08/2003 11:51

Oky doky Jems. Good luck, I'll be thinking of u!! You'll have to get a pc at home!!!!!

spikeycat · 26/08/2003 10:02

been following this thread, did you test in the end jemma7?

Jemma7 · 26/08/2003 11:03

Yep, did test Spikey but it was a big fat negative.
Not really too surprised - getting used to it now!

BigBird · 26/08/2003 11:06

hd and egypt, on another ttc thread I read loads of the girls are on Agnus Castus, but I think it's more to regulate cycles. I guess the first 10 /14 days of pregnancy would be fine to take it. I am taking starflower oil to increase cm, but only take it up to ovulation each month.
Well, looks like it's time to start bd'ing again, will have to corner dh tonight . Good luck to all.....

spikeycat · 26/08/2003 11:07

Sorry jems - try and keep positive.

niknik · 26/08/2003 11:08

Sorry about you disapointment Jemma. Af yet?

I know what you mean about trying to take a more philosophical view of ttc but it is sometimes so difficult when you are so desperate
