OK, so since TTC I've thought (or wondered briefly) the following might be signs of being pregnant...

funny rash on my legs - still don't know what this was
three spots on my forehead - I was convinced this was a hormone induced 'breakout' as I don't normally get spots)
General bad mood - turns out I'm just grumpy
crazy dreams
needing a wee
not needing a wee
not liking the smell of coconut - weird
feeling very weepy and sore boobs - hmmm... this could have just been PMS!
stuffy nose

This month I have a massive craving for Mango which I'm normally indifferent to - I am of course CONVINCED that it's my month...

Am desperately trying to hold out till next weekend to test... I need distractions! anyone else had any funny symptoms and wondered if it could be a SIGN?

emmylou & DiceGirl I'm using a CBFM. First month of trying at the mo so I'm still getting used to it but I have to say it takes all the guess work out of TTCing thats for sure.

You should pop over to the Clear Blue Fertility Monitor Buddies Vol 3 thread.....there's plenty of ladies on there using them. I'm sure they wouldn't mind answering your questions.

Well as for Symptom spotting.....I;m really not so sure I've got any symptoms anymore. Although this tummy pain is driving me potty. Its like weak Period Pain and then every now and then I get a sharp one tht makes me jump a little. I'm only 4DPO LOL!!

In true af style it showed up a day late seany and about 2 hours after I finally gave in (again) and tested only to get a bfn. Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo. Looks like I'm out of the game for another month folks . Had such convincing symptoms too, sob. I think DH is secretly delighted that we get another month of bd-ing though .

emmylou I haven't used the fertility monitor but have used the clear blue ovulation tests, which were quite useful. Showed me that I ovulate late, so helps focus the mind a bit! It gives faces when it's a good time to BD, which tends to make me run to DH, waving the test around, going 'it's a smiley face day,it's a smiley face day' Have used that for 2 months, but now am actually also thinking about the fertility monitor....it's just sooooo expensive.

never heard of dots before either but i wouldnt give up just yet! Had a couple of hours to myself for some pampering so that was nice. Did get a smidge of the brown stuff but wondered if it could just be the end of my 10 days of pink cm but then had some red cm tho just a smidge. Just hope af comes in full force tomorrow to get this drama out the way. SO no testing for me tomorrow. Just want a proper period now on cd27 and had pink or red cm since cd19 so its just going on and on. Hope to see some good news here soon

isnt that always the way, tho thats an idea, book my doc appointment then af will come gushing in then i can start counting cd1 again. Looks like a few of us could be having AF together and so testing about the same time at the end of the month or 3 weeks time, whoever cracks first!

Dandelion and seany thanks for remembering me. I am fine at the moment just really tired, horrid taste in my mouth and nausea most mornings but thankfully it doesnt hang round for too long. I am feeling so bloated though I am sure I am showing already! Booked my first mw appt for the 26th July which seems ages away. Still a waiting game, just want to get past 8 weeks and I might relax a bit more

Not much happening here, still on 2ww. As I don't know how long my cycle is, due to this being first cycle since removal of Mirena, I'm trying hang out testing til cd28 which is a week Saturday. Still got cramping period type pains, but not so frequently. No idea what this means!!!

i've just got negative result! but perplexed:

AF is is late buy about 4 days
and my boobs are starting to get sore.
and I have a dragging cramping feeling in tummy.
and I'm sure had a metalic taset in mouth this morning.
Also i'm V tird.

Maybe i'm just going to have a very late AF.

What is the likelihood of result being wrong? When i was pregnant with DD I never got a false result so i'm not holding out much hope. (yet I'm still hoping!)

When I was PG earlier on in the year I had cramping pains for about 2-3 weeks before I found out I was PG. Also the tiredness was unbearable at times and my boobs were incredibly sore. So you never know darkbluebird maybe you should test again if AF hasn't arrived over the next few days. I've heard of quite alot of people whos first test comes up negative and then when they test again a few days later its positive. Fingers Crossed mate.

I had cramping from 2 dpo - that's what really gave me an inkling I was pg as I never cramp until a few days before AF. By the time AF was due I was feeling bloated too.

darkbluebird its frustrating I know but I would wait a couple of days and test again if no AF. I too have heard stories of tests being neg and then a few days later getting a positive. Do you know when you ovulated?

What about increased sex drive a symptom? I'm usually more horney around ovulation time but not usually before AF. anyone?

Madas I'm not sure acutally. I think about 3 weeks ago.

Oh yeah I know about this one darkbluebird My DH thought all his christmases had come at once after we found out I was PG - I was 4 weeks when we found out and I was incredibly horny for a few weeks - then the tiredness kicked in and I couldn't stay awake long enough to even attempt getting jiggy LOL!!

Girls - my crampnig has been from 2DPO too!!!!!

Hi ladies just wondered if i could pick your brains.
AF was due on friday, I've had 2 BFNs both were done later in the day but I've got incredibly sore boobs, cramping feeling sick and funny taste in my mouth. Just wondering when it would be worth testing again. With my ds I didnt find out till i was 13 weeks pg due to medication. Cycles now are very regular so im a bit confused.

shelley & darkbluebird - I'd be testing again in a couple of days.

With dd, I got a bfn one day, went out with the girls and roaring drunk (oops!), was a bit tearful the next day so tested again and got a bfp! I think you're more likely to get a false negative than a false positive.

I got a false negative with ds when i first tested before going onto microgynon then missed AF between packets a few months later so tested and got BFP. It's driving me mad i feel like i did just before i found out last time but all the BFN's are making me think im not. No sign of AF though . thanks

Ok AF just arrived. boo. how annoying that i wasted £12 on a pregnancy test just this morning! foolish, foolish moi.

I guess my periods are just more irregular then i care to admit. next time maybe.

to af dashing everyones hopes but im with you on the wine front, think its a great thing to induldge in the stuff you couldnt have when pg, for me its wine, poached eggs and sleeping on my front - oh yey to sleeping on my tummy and getting a decent nights sleep!

Day 11 of...well im not sure what, was pink cm now its brown af due today, expect she will be here tomorrow tho still clinging onto one pregnant looking boob and so is dh tho hes getting nothing else till this all stops, even if af just lasts 3 or 4 days thats still 2weeks of this which isnt normal for me, dont know whats going on. Had 2 great nights sleep but still feeling tired this whole business is starting to wipe me out, im even boring myself with it now!

sorry if i keep repeating myself ladies, thats because everyday's the same at tho mo. Got to be due some more good news here, the cramping since ovulation is a new one, sounds promising!

Well im on cd16 and the bouncy boobs have returned. I thought i was ov'ing early a few days ago cause of the bouncy boobs but its looking more likely now cause ive got some very mild cramping and have had ewcm since yesterday.feel like we have spent the past week or so bding lol managed cd8,9,11,12,13,14 and 15. Dp is away to his friends house but i shall be awaiting his return lol
