OK, so since TTC I've thought (or wondered briefly) the following might be signs of being pregnant...

funny rash on my legs - still don't know what this was
three spots on my forehead - I was convinced this was a hormone induced 'breakout' as I don't normally get spots)
General bad mood - turns out I'm just grumpy
crazy dreams
needing a wee
not needing a wee
not liking the smell of coconut - weird
feeling very weepy and sore boobs - hmmm... this could have just been PMS!
stuffy nose

This month I have a massive craving for Mango which I'm normally indifferent to - I am of course CONVINCED that it's my month...

Am desperately trying to hold out till next weekend to test... I need distractions! anyone else had any funny symptoms and wondered if it could be a SIGN?

I think AF has just arrived for me I had been trying not to symptom spot. But was feeling really tired and fell asleep while watching a kids film with DS and DP - was out for 5hours!! Woke up in time for dinner.

I also felt quite sick last week - not pukey, but vaguely queasy.

But, like I say - I think I'm out again this month.

Hope others are feeling better than me!

dry mouth, rank taste in mouth (could be cheese and pickle sandwich related). af ish crampyness off and on and boobs feel big. not sure on till weds. to test or not to test? not sure whether to buy on on my way home from work or if thats tempting fate?

Have PO yet AS....this was a 5 days before your AF due one....BFN but didn't use FMU and wee was quite dilute....

With DS, I did two normal pregancy tests the week my period was due and two BFN...only got BFP after implantation bleeding..

Am thirsty, constipated (lovely!) and poos are a little bit darker but am not sure if this is due to the pregnacare. However, when I took pregnacare with DS, I didn't have that....

Also fancying chickpeas quite a lot but could be anything couldn't it??

Am so annoyed with all the POAS as I waste ££, I don't believe the results as think its too early etc....

Why can't I at least wait until CD30 or summat

Sorry to hear that PussinJimmyChoos - it is so hard not to test isnt it. I am thirsty and constipated too! But as AF isnt due until 25th June I just have to wait. These pg test manufacturers must be making a mint. You MUST wait til Weds at least!! Do not buy anymore, if they are not in the house you won't use them - that's my plan.

Funny you should mention chickpeas, I have a tin in the cupboard that's been there for ages and they looked appetising tonight!!

madas thank you, thats a lovely story and what a fantastic suprise for you after your x ray!! My friend had mentioned to me that the dye test can sometimes clear blockages so fingers crossed for me too!! (The cons wants to check incase my tubes were nicked during the emergency section i had with ds),hope this isnt the case

I fell terrible, this has taken so long that now the timing is all wrong, and i might be unemployed if I get a BFP now by the due time... this is causing a lot of stress... and of course, I def. feel this month it is going to be... oh well, wait and see! good luck you though!

seanybos my dc are now 5 and 3.5 Having had two so close we wanted to wait a while before having a third. In fact DH might have been happy to leave it at two, but he is quite excited now. I thought I would be more relaxed this time but I think now we are trying I realise just how much I really want another baby. When we were trying our first I really did let it all get on top of me and I was so obsessed with temp charts etc we both got stressed about it all. I am trying to keep calm now but it is hard. Being the wrong side of 35 makes me realistic that it might not be so easy this time.

Fingers crossed your slight brown show doesn't amount to anything and you don't need a HSG, it would be horrible to think they did nick a tube during your ecs. Even if they did, your other tube should be okay. The waiting is pants though. How old is your ds?

I am not feeling so symptomy today, I even felt like going for a run but couldn't get out as DH was working late. My boobs are still aching though. I am just worried as we are camping with a friend at the weekend and it will look very obvious if I avoid drinking, as this friend drinks like a fish. I will have to think of some excuse or keep knocking them over

Its been 2 years for us madas and ds will be 3 in september.we started ttc when he was 9 months as we wanted 2 close together,but so far has been nothing but worry and stress as to why nothing is happening, as im sure you'll understand.

im sure your two must be great friends at that age

Did you have many symptoms your last 2 preg? only thing i remember around the time of test is the absolute exhaustion,cramps and the constipation.

First time round, even though I knew I couldn't be pg after the HSG results, I was very aware of a strong metallic taste. I have it now but am not sure if I am trying to expect it tbh. I cannot remember when it started but I tested not long after AF was due and didn't believe the BFP - I took 5 tests and had an early scan as I was at risk of ectopic. It wasnt until I saw the screen that I believed it. With my second I felt I knew straight away, metallic taste again and heartburn. I remember that was early on, only a few days after conception and it felt like ages to wait to test. A bit like now really - dare I say it!

I feel for you seanbos I really do. At least you are getting looked at which is good. While part of me believes the dye cleared me out so to speak (I had chlamydia in my early 20's and alway felt I might have long term damage) I alos think relaxing helped too. Once the hope had gone, I relaxed, we made love, I chucked out the temp charts and it worked. I understand your frustration I really do and I know there is no point in me telling you to relax! I have everything crossed for you.

I had em cs also...wondering if had any effect...only took three mths to conceive DS but I was 2st lighter then...

I normally have one day pre AF where I am in a bad mood, but haven't had that as such, was just a bit ratty yesterday..

well just did a supermarket cheapy test and came back neg. i did manage to wee on the window bit though! i felt queasy (in my throat not my tummy) for a while last night and when i woke up this morning, maybe its just a bug? but also the last 2 nights i've woken up dying for a pee (and not been able to get back to sleep without going) and have had tingly nipples. I just wish af would hurry up and come if its going to.

would PussinJimmyChoos and Knittakid feel like making a pact to wait till thursday to do next tests (unless af appears)? we could work on keeping each other sane maybe?

am feeling rather pants about the whole thing now. i knew i should have waited till thursday. ho hum. best get my arse into gear for stay and play.

I had a tiny spot of pink last night but nothing since-i give up trying to figure out whats going on!!

No worries seanybos. You might drive yourself bonkers trying to work out what's happening! I am resolved not to test early, mind you I resolved not to symptom spot I can now add cramps, headache and general snappiness to the list.

Ninja I am sure I read somewhere that weeing on the window might stop the test working. Its still early so try waiting a bit longer if you can .

I managed a bike ride this morning to try and clear my head and I had leaflets to deliver. I covered 20 miles but my head was banging and I really didn't feel I was enjoying it as much as usual. A few cramps when I finished too. Boobs still sore and tingly, still feel nauseaous and icky. Can still drink tea though. Its going to be a long wait til a week on Friday!!

aw thanks for the kind words. i think as soon as i did it i knew i shouldn't have! will ensure i have more resolve next time. have now decided to think bugger it and either af comes or i test thurs/ fri.

I have a dye test coming up on Thursday> i pushed for i as I want to make sure there everything ok. Except now I feel quite nervous about it.

Does anyone know if you can see what they see or if you have to wait until your results come back when you get another appointment at the clinic?

Hi TAcrazy when I had my dye test, 6 years ago now, I couldn't see what the consultant was looking at. But I did know something was wrong as he kept asking for more dye and was getting flustered with the nurses. I could feel it all coming out (sorry if TMI) so I knew my tubes weren't right. The consultant gave me the results there and then, well he said my tubes were blocked so I would need IVF (his bedside manner left a lot to be desired!). We paid for a private consultation to weigh up our options and then we were told the extent of the damage, ie one tube blocked at the ovary end and the other at the uterus. But we were referred for a laparoscopy to check just how damaged they were and whether they could be surgically unblocked.

Best of luck, its not too bad, but it can make you feel a bit crampy. Take care xx

Did an early test with fmu today - BFN....

Then (TMI alert) got the bright idea of wondering if my cervix would feel closed if was pg so tried that and then saw very very faint pink...whether this is implantation bleeding or start of AF..who knows

The bugger of it is that on the months where DH and I haven't managed to BD on the right days, flo starts brown moving into red...sure enough, on the months where I am confident we are in with a chance, AF starts pink and leaves me stressing as to whether its AF or implantation bleeding

So pissed off - is it worth getting fertility tests now or would the Dr give me Clomid on prescription?

I wouldnt have the faintest idea what to look for with the whole checking cervix position. You did say you had implantation with your last pg tho didnt you? so theres hope still!!

Ask your doc to do day 3 and day 21 tests again just to be sure and as you say it has been 2 years now (regardless that you already have a ds) i would push your GP for a referral to gynae consultant.

I was referred by my GP after ttc for 18 months and finally day 21 tests showed i wasnt ovulating. I waited 7 weeks on an appointment with the consultant and was then prescibed 3 months supply of clomid after having a transvaginal scan,had a months break and then went back to cons again and was prescribed another 3 mths dose (this cycle was my last).
Honestly dont let your GP fob you off if you are worried.
