Ridiculous Symptom Spotting... come on... you know you do...

OK, so since TTC I've thought (or wondered briefly) the following might be signs of being pregnant...

funny rash on my legs - still don't know what this was
three spots on my forehead - I was convinced this was a hormone induced 'breakout' as I don't normally get spots)
General bad mood - turns out I'm just grumpy
crazy dreams
needing a wee
not needing a wee
not liking the smell of coconut - weird
feeling very weepy and sore boobs - hmmm... this could have just been PMS!
stuffy nose

This month I have a massive craving for Mango which I'm normally indifferent to - I am of course CONVINCED that it's my month...

Am desperately trying to hold out till next weekend to test... I need distractions! anyone else had any funny symptoms and wondered if it could be a SIGN?

This morning I felt realy light headed. So I caved and tested - VERY faint positive!
Im not going to show my husband as he will think its FAAAAAAR to faint , but I know a line is a line , will do it again on Sunday morning.

Just a wee update on me..cd33,no af still.sporadic cramping but nothing major. have had a headache since yest and still tired but that could still be me trying to catch up on sleep after holiday.
not convinced im pg so just wish af would hurry up arrrrggghhhh

CD32 still no AF. Felt v v sick this morning so caved in and did a test another BFN. Why didn't I wait a few more days?!

I also caved on the not telling my husband thing .......Im just useless realy!

Still no sign of AF, symptoms have really taken off today - dry through, absolutely shattered, headache, queasy feeling, but also famished!

Have promised DH that I won't test until Sunday when he get's home, but I'm pretty sure

af is due weds/ thurs but i'm itching to test, not sure if i can wait that long! felt no symptoms at all today except a few bouts of very faint nauseousness. and though i'm not gassy anymore, i'm deffo noticing that my jeans are still tighter than usual so must still be bloated. hmm, i'm just not sure. i fell pg v quick last time and dtd the day i ov this time so part of me thinks its all in my head and part of me is jumping up and down screaming i'm pregnant! i just hate this limbo feeling.

TTC no 2 ...been nearly two years now..had progesterone test at Drs on day 21 and all normal..am ovulating as getting results on OPKs..fell pg within three months with DS but had emcs so not sure if that has affected things for no 2..

Anyhoo..was using OPKs and thought I ovulated late but this month, I was feeling ahem up for it and very pre AF on day 11 so DTD twice that week and whole legs on the wall after...

AF due Wed...last few days have been really thirsty and constipated...am afraid to hope though as 2 mths ago, I felt pg and AF arrived bang on time...

Its hard going the 2ww!!

CD34 for me and still no af. Ive been feeling horrible since yesterday afternoon.still headachy though not so bad this morning,but feeling really queasy and am constipated as well so have cramps in my stomach (mixture of af type cramps and trapped wind feeling). Was washing my hair last night and had to go and lie down cause i felt like i was gonna throw up. my boobs also feel weird, not sore,feels more like they are heavy and giving me a sore back iyswim? I also woke up this morning with a really dry mouth but i cant face drinking anything in case it makes me sick. i was so not convinced im preg but now im having doubts,though it could all just be a silly bug i have.obv im hoping its not a bug! would be lovely to be preg now as that was my last dose of clomid this cycle.

Well, AF arrived today - I'm so upset as I was so sure that this was the month, every little thing for the last two weeks were so promising
The fact that I'm NEVER late made all the more convincing.

Sorry I've been away for a while, but congrats to those who've had BFPs! and lots of luck next month to those who haven't managed this month. AF is STILL not here for me, hmm... I think this would be CD38? Kinda weird. No real symptoms still though, apart from a lot of saliva, I spat in my friend's face while talking to her the other day, and woke up earlier to find a nice wet patch on DP's sleeve courtesy of me so I have no idea what's going on!

I tested again today and bfn again .stil no sign whatsoever of af,no spotting or anything which i usually get a day or two before af arrives. have really thick cm though

I have POAS twice so far...totally silly as AF not due until Wed at the earliest (Wed is CD 28)..I don't believe any BFNs as I know its too early so I'm not entirely sure what I am trying to achieve!

Guess I'm hoping for an early positive..but with DS, I did two tests the week my period was due and BFN..only got a BFP about 4 days after flo was due and had implantation bleed! Am constipated though, thirsty and having a bit of a passion for chickpeas...

Then again, could all be pre AF symptoms...I want to do some exercise as well but am afraid to it in case dislodge any egg that may have implanted...

AF arrived late Friday. So I promise myself next month no early POAS. I MUST wait until at least CD35. Such a waste of money otherwise.

Hi everyone.

emmy i poas again today with fr and got another bfn.had a 38 day cycle last month so its looking that way for me again this month.
im also practically symptomless today apart from the odd twingey pain. have been feeling like af is gonna arrive so have been wearing a sanitary towel all day but still nothing,only cloudy looking cm (slighty yellowish tinge to it,sorry for tmi)
Thats a good idea to get your gp to check for preg during your blood test. what cycle is this for you?

God the small fortune we spend on tests!!
its so frustrating, we spend so much time trying not to get pregnant and when we want to get pregnant our bodies decide to go haywire. im being sent for a dye test by my gynae consultant if i dont get my bfp this month . Dreading that!

I think i will just see if i can hold off another week before i test again (ha easier said than done!),though come weds i'll prob b stalking the local chemist lol
I had bloody cm last sunday (i think it was sunday) so im wondering if i just had a really late ov? at the time i thought it was a sign that af was on the way but obv not!

Just reread that, the its lovely bit should be a new paragraph and meaning its nice to know I am not alone. All the BFN's are sad but it does show how much our minds can play tricks on us. I have been here before, being sure I was pg and then not being so i understand how devastating that can be. Hope I haven't offended anyone xx

Emmy sorry to hear of bfn,same here im afraid (i caved and did a test 15 mins ago). I used cb and keep thinking i can see the faintest of faint lines but i think its just my eyes playing tricks on me.funny when i did one yesterday i thought i saw a faint line too but when i went back later and looked i couldnt see anything. cd36 with af cramps since yest and its driving me up the wall.

I dont know the name of the dye test but its to check my fallopian tubes arent blocked. havent got the app yet tho am due back at hosp in july to see consultant again so hopefully will know more then.

im having such a bad day today, had words with my boss earlier. was not a nice experience and i got very upset, so feeling very sorry for myself

HI Seanybosmummy - sorry to hear of your bad day - grrr sometimes you just need to kick something. I hope you feel better tomorrow. Your test does sound like a hysterosalpingogram which is an x-ray of your tubes. Its not the most dignified of procedures and can give you slight cramps but it really isnt that bad. If you need one I hope it goes well. I would make sure they take a blood test to check you are not pg first though. With me they found both my tubes were blocked after ttc for 2 years and technically I was infertile (nice consultant btw- just told me to give up or have IVF ). Miraculously I fell pg the next month!! Sometimes the dye itself can clear blockages which I think must have happened with me. Because of this I thought it would take ages to fall pg again, but it happened first time with dd2 - so I think we can say I am not infertile .
