Hi everyone,

OV calc says due date would be 31st Dec but didn't want to be on my own at the bottom of the Dec bus. Am on cycle 3 of proper trying as dp not been as willing to DTD knowing he HAS to impregnate me .
Hope someone hops on to keep me company soon

Oh dear - BFN for me this morning & definite signs that AF is on her way.

Ho hum.....off to the February bus for me

Good luck to all you January bus-ers

specialsmasher · 27/04/2010 19:43

Sorry to hear that cluckykate. Good luck on Feb bus!

mummychicken · 27/04/2010 19:53

primpo snap 38

bossyboob yes -the luteal phase is from the day you ovulate to the day AF appears. The best way to know that is with an ovulation predictor kit (more sticks to pee on).

Imagining I can taste metal now.

I think if your RIGHT elbow is inflated and purple, you got wind

IfAtFirstUDontSucceed · 27/04/2010 20:00

Hmmmm... can someone update the list with my details. (cant seem to re-post the list for some reason?!?)
Now know my cycle day after AF arrived following MC

Lots of luck to all those experiencing symptoms and looking to POAS.
Thanks Mummychicken - agree with SWI which is fun.

mummychicken · 28/04/2010 12:26

This mornings' thought process

I have to go to Tescos after work to day. If they have the clearblue 2 for £7 I will buy it, if not then I won't.

I know some of you probably don't understand my POAS dilema but when I have tested early before, I tend not to believe it and still hope in vain. DH and I have been trying for 6 months (ish - although some of those attempts weren't really full on SWI due to illness etc) but every month I have 2 weeks of am I/am I not. When AF does arrive, I think - it could just be implantation etc.

In otherwords until AF is in full flow as it were I still hope I am pg.

At the moment, there is a possibility I am, as soon as I do a test then I might not be.

Florin · 28/04/2010 12:54

Mummychicken let us know if they are on offer in tescos! I have been putting off buying them as if they are in the house I can't resist testing. Can anybody help me decide when I should test. I was on pill for about 10 years before that af was regular as clockwork every 28 days. Took my last pill a few days after the new year and had normal pill bleed the few days off then bleed from coming off pill then I had another 28 day cycle so all fine but my cycle after that was 51 days! Now on day 28 and was wondering when to test. I was thinking about Saturday morning which would be day 31 what does everyone think? Sorry about the long post!

mummychicken · 28/04/2010 17:20

Florin In tescos - clear blue digital 2 pack is £10 and the other clear blue (non-digital don't know what it is called) is 2 for £7.

I did get a pg test, still unsure whethre I'll use it tomorrow

debka · 28/04/2010 18:28

So... our feeble one attempt at SWI was, let's say, disappointing, also I'm still BFing 2x a day BUT AF has still not appeared, day late now and very unlike me. Boobs may be a little sore but could be from prodding .

What do you reckon?

Don't want to test cos I don't want a BFN!

Florin · 28/04/2010 19:08

Know how you feel Debka I am too scared to test. The longer I can wait the longer I can keep the dream alive! On the other hand there is something I want to get out of on Saturday afternoon which being pregnant would get me straight out of so I think I will test Saturday Morning!

livviloo · 28/04/2010 20:04

got some spotting, BFN so I think I am off too. Good luck every one.

specialsmasher · 28/04/2010 20:43

I have definite PMT & BFN with an early response. See you next time! Good luck all.

debka · 28/04/2010 20:49

Florin I don't think we are taking this seriously enough!

mummychicken · 28/04/2010 20:54

Good god - we're dropping like flies - surely there must be more than 3 of us with BFPs!

LucyHoneychurch · 28/04/2010 21:04

I had a BFN yesterday... but like you mummychicken I still cling to it being a false negative until I get my period, which is now 2 days late and not like me.... so I remain pathetically hopeful!

I have already bought my ticket for the Feb bus but I am not getting off this one until I am pushed off!

mummychicken · 28/04/2010 21:09

I'm thinking I might have to book on the feb bus too - all "symptoms" have gone. AF due in 2/3 days

smallblackflowers · 28/04/2010 21:58

debka come and join us (if you fancy) on the TTC whilst breastfeeding thread.

I got a BFN today too - only 11DPO, so still living in a world of misguided hope

PandaSam · 29/04/2010 08:51

Have removed myself from the list. AF still not here but have had a resounding "not pregnant" from a clearblue digital and don't feel remotely pregnant so think I will go and hang out on the Feb bus!

Good luck everyone

Todays thoughts ( sorry if this is boring but there is no one in RL I can talk to)

I did not POAS this morning as I went for a wee (TMI?) at 3am. So at 7am the test could have been negative because of that.( you ned to use 1st wee of the day) I didn't want to go through the "I still might be pg, it'c because I had a wee etc".

Thinking back to my last pg. I didn't have any symtoms till well past AFs due date, so there is still hope.

I have pretty much decided that what is the point of knowing a couple of days early? I will know soon enough whether I am so why put myself through this?

Here endeth todays blog on whether to POAS or Not to POAS

HongKongBaby · 29/04/2010 11:31

mummychicken, it drives you mental doesn't it. I go through similar thought processes myself.

My 'implantation bleeding' has turned into a period. BUT I had an early 'period', or I suppose heavy implantation bleed, with first pregnancy hence did not think to test til 2 weeks later. Boobs sore, unusual, got same symptom last time hence testing and getting BFP despite thinking had had period. Could very welly be entirely imaginary sore boobs though. So, in summary, I'm the baby crazy lady who will be doing a pregnancy test despite having period. I hope that makes you feel slightly better about your more rational thoughts.

It is an insane process and the sooner its over the better

mummychicken · 29/04/2010 12:45

I want sore boobs !!!

I don't get them with AF, so for me it will be a sure fire sign.

Glad to see my thought process is not unusual. It's driving me nuts!
