Hello ladies, feeling calmer today. Think its because i can almost taste half term now!!! Having a end of term night out tomorrow. My friend has already text saying can't wait to have our ritual cosmos. Not sure how i am going to get away without drinking and not telling her. Shes been through it all with me, loosing my baby, heartache of ttc, sat with me when i've sobbed my heart out. I cant wait to tell her, hubby says not til after Monday
Plus i've been asleep by 9.30 lately, so falling asleep at the table and not drinking, she may guess anyway.

I know what you mean fairy. Its hard to know what to say at work for the best.
Stac heads been out all day today again so will see what (if she turns up) she has to say tomorrow.

Pink according to calculator online i'm almost 8weeks Got my scan on Monday and then booking app on Thursday. How are you feeeling?

AF got me today, I'm gutted, as I usually am every month. Feel like ringing that spiritualist up to say 'your a liar!' but thought I'd best not.
I've got a banging head ache, which isn't like me I hardly ever have head ache.
Anyway, hope others are having a better month than me. fairy how are you getting on?

Stac im having a break from clomid this month so not sure it can be that, probably beause im due on in a week, i get very emotional leading up to af. Not sure why im having pain in my ovarys since CD12. I have a feeling this is not my month.
Got my cons appointment next thurs, hope they will offer me iui or IVF, at least then i wont have to worry every month whether we have BD'd at the right time...

Popsy and Stac did you have sore boobs before you found out you were Pregnant, sorry to ask its just most people say they knew they were pregnant because of how painful their boobs were.

fairy i used to have the same fantasy when i was going for any test, such as scans or bloods so know what you mean

popsy you can say your on metrodizonal (soz spelling may be rotten) its an antibiotic used for womans troubles dont ask me what though, most people dont know. but its the only antibiotic your not allowed to drink on as it causes vomiting, i used the excuse a lot early on

ladybird my boobs have ached from the start, well more my nipples soz for tmi, but it is commen as they are preparing for feeding

whats your plans for half term? our kids finished today, but go back next thursday so not off as long as you. I have the pgysio and the dentist as gums are bleeding quite bad xxx

Hi everyone, So sorry Becky damn AF, hope you are ok.

Ladybird When I first fell pg with DD I didn't get the sore boobs which really worried me. However, I did just pee constantly. Some women just don't get them I suppose.

I'm only on CD9 today but I had a gr8 day - took my wedding party ladies, 1 adult and 3 kids aged, 11, 8 & 4 yrs to try on the dresses I've picked - they were lovely. I even blubbered like a big jessy cos everyone was so happy and were grinning from ear to ear.

I gotta go for an MRI scan on my ankle 2moro as I ruptured my achilles tendon in October and it's not healed properly. I hope everythings ok as i really don't want an op to fix it. It's like really swollen at the back of my ankle and I'm walking about like a 70yr old - limp and all. If i need an op, i'll probably put off the clomid but I'm not sure. Will have to wait and see.

stac, my gums bled terribly when pg with DD, think I switched to a soft toothbrush (still do as they not brilliant now) hows the spd?

Ladybird - I too am having a break from the clomid and feel a bit tense. Snapped a couple of times at DD today and felt awful. not sure when my af will show up (a bit of a lottery for me!!) One of the first symptoms I had first time round was majorly sore boobs.

fairy - hope you headache gone. hope you not too down hearted about HR meeting. Think you will be in with a good a chance as anyone.

I'm still letting some news from school sink in at the mo and its taking up a lot of my energy, worrying but feel like it will be good for me!
Did a pilated session the other night which will hopefully help my core strength and so support my back, also very relaxing- recommend it! Did a spin and gym sesh today and back holding up well, so looking forward to a good run tomorrow after going to see DD's first assembly at her school - so excited.
One thing that made me sad was DH said a colleague on maternity leave came in with her 3 month baby and baby smiled at DH which he said melted his heart and its the first time he been really forthcoming about his desires for another baby. We can but hope

Shev thats a sore one, i was to go for an mri on my neck and couldnt go through with it as i hate small spaces, i am a scaredy lol x

stac I'm not looking forward to the MRI either as I too don't like small spaces. I hope it's over and done with quick...I've got my other scan on monday to check follicles etc so hope everything goes ok with that as well. Fingers crossed eh. x

the good thing bout it being your leg is you will go in feet first for me it was head first so i panicked lol x

Popsy When did you start feeling pregnant? when did your boobs start to hurt etc.. ? I feel normal apart from slight cramps in tummy.

NOPE it hasn't sunk in yet. AM over the moon but won't believe it until i see it on a scan screen.

pink some people get symptoms right away others at bout 6 to 8 wks my ms started at 8wks and hasnt long stopped. I actuall thought af was starting as i bled lightly on 3 or 4 occaissons and have had cramps from the start. I think i'm only just starting to believe lo is there, now i'm onto worrying bout 20wk scan lol. There are lots of good sites that give you week by week accounts of pregnancy. Try babycentre or cow and gate. X

Hi Clure everythings gonna be fine! I know what you mean about DHs getting broody (I suppose it's a good explanation)! I had a hold of one of our colleague's baby today. She was lovely.

Play went fantastically well. They should all be so proud of themselves as I am!

Yay half term is here!!!! Looking forward toi my duvet day tomorrow as I normally have it on Sunday but we've got the scan so gonna chill tomorrow & watch my trash TV!

CD 24 for me and im not too sure when AF due,she came very early last month(10days early) so its just a waiting game eh

Not bad Stac. feel shattered but it's usually like this for me at the end of term. Feel like I can't move off this chair!
Looking forward to a week where I might actually be able to catch up on sleep. Maybe a bit of research on local schools.

stac - hope you get some relief with physio. I know when I did my knee it was the physio who told me I'd got a mis-aligned pelvis and gave me some good exercises to do. Was thinking of a visit to my welsh rellies but decided against it due to many factors. will be seeing them soon though

Deb - it sure is a waiting game! hopefully your time will come

pink - when I was pg with DD it didn;t sink in for ages. I had sore boobs for a while and a case of thrush other than that no symptoms.

shev - good luck with scan

i had a letter through which was a copy of a letter from my consultant to GP. It was basically asking GP to refer me privately for ivf investigations. Only thing is the fertility nurse recommended a specific assisted conception unit (Guys) but what if GP makes a referral elsewhere? Should I contact GP and tell hime where I want to be referred?

hope everyone else ok, I'm looking forward to half term but know I have a shed load of work ahead of me!!

Hey clure I would phone them to specify you would like the referral to be made to Guys hun, then at least you know your getting the place you want. I am looking forward to the physio, had a fair bit of stretching pains too but think its par for the course lol. Are you off for a fortnight? xx

Scan went well and you were right stac - they just put my lower half under but b4 he told me I was totally stressed, there isn't much space in the MRI machine! Half an hour in one position killed me though, ankle aching like mad when I came out...results hopefully in a few days.

Well day CD10 for me 2day, my back is killing me and has been for a couple of days, I thought I saw EWCM today - just a little, but then I thought it would be a little early for that?

Just a week I'm afraid Stac. Clure sounds similar to the letter my cons sent GP to ask them to arrage the swab & when I recieved the letter from GP it said Cons had asked for a smear test! So I'd phone them cos you need to say where you want to be sent to! Not going anywhere yet but just having a look. Did you have a meeting with HR. I know that One Yr2 teacher & one Yr6 teacher had the same advice as me give so we didn't feel confident after!

Glad it was ok shev I wa being put in head first so my whole body would have been in it, they also strapped my head down, felt totally out of control. But apparantly you can get a doughnut scan instead which is just the big ring that goes around the area

fairy and clure really sorry things are so crappy at work {{hugs}} to you both. Thought you had a fortnight as my cuz is in Manchester and said her son is off for 2wks or maybe nappy brain picked her up wrong lol

AF came yesterday. day 2 today so back on the clomid. there are now 6 pregnant ladies in my department all with massive lovely bumps. sooooooo jealous. tough week. month 31 here we go. not sure how many more i have in me x
