Hi all, sorry i've not been on for a while. Been busy with DSD street dancing exams etc.
Hi to all the new ladies, Fairy, Stac, Popsy, Lady and anyone else i missed.
I was back at the hospital today, she gave me 3 more mmonths of Clomid and has referred me to IUI clinic. Still not sure if i have to pay for IUI though, should have asked really but it never entered my head, i was just relieved and excited to be moving on from just Clomid.
How's the IVF referral going Fairy?

Hello all was wondering if anyone could help we have been TTC number 2 for 2 years and am on my 2nd round of clomid. I?m now on the dreaded 2ww so I?m obsessing over every sign and symptom. I started to get cramps and sore boobs 5 days after ovulation and 8 days on I?m still getting them and my boobs still hurt but I don?t know if its AF the clomid or a little bean has any one else had this?? And what was the outcome? I didn?t get this on the first cycle.

Feeling pretty rough at the mo as I have been bleeding for 3 weeks now (well brown spotting then a thick brown gunge which finally turned into proper but heavy bleeding this week). So feel crap, tired, achy & bruised!!!!

Hi mummyjo I've had sore boobs with a BFP and many negatives. I found that clomid makes my boobs tender. hope this isnt the case for you and you yet a BFP.

fairy poor you chick. Hope you are feeling brighter soon.

Chloe has the bleeding stopped? Never experienced this myself. You called always call the doctors if worried hun.

I'm doing ok atm. DH is now home which is always a relief. Had a few emotional set backs but wont bore you with it as a very long story.

Pops remember when you said that it sounded like the end of your pg when I first mentioned the brown gungy stuff? Welll I went to dr today & it is possible I've miscarried!!!! I honestly didn't know I was pg.
Got blood tests on mon to ruke out anemia, thyroid & blood sugars.

Just gonna take it easy this weekend.

Aw fairy huni how are you? Did they do a pg test? Remember i had lots of spotting and brown stuff at the start of this pregnancy. Please let me know how you get on. They should have done all those bloods ages ago, an underactive thyroid if not controlled can cause mc hun. Really sorry chick. X

stac - how's it all going? Are you getting to that really tired stage?

mummyjo, think clomid does really strange things to your body, its also cumulative so you may got different symptoms different months if that makes sense

pops, glad your DH is around, sound like you need the support right now.

becky - if you don't already have children then its usual to be offered IUI/IVF on NHS though not sure how many rounds. Maybe the next 3 months of clomid will kickstart your hormones

I got a letter from Guys Hospital today with an appointment. This will hopefully be to begin investigations to see whether my eggs would be viable for ivf. Feel better that something is now in place at last. Still no AF, am thinking the very worst in that I am going through premature meno. Last period was 2nd january. DD has been asking me for a sister for her this week, it breaks my heart and is difficult to explain to a 5 year old
On a positive note, the sun is out and we are going to take DD to country park

Oh Fairy i am so very sorry, how are you doing hun? Sending you a massive hug. Good luck for the tests on Monday. Here for you whenever you need us. Make sure you get plenty of rest and look after yourself.

Clure must be a relief to get things moving. I understand how your feeling regarding your DD, it used to break my heart with my DS. Did you always have a long wait inbetween AFs or were they always regular?

Well i have a bit of a hangover today First proper drink since January, hence the feeling so rough. Probably very silly as mid cycle atm but it was good to be with friends and have a giggle. Had my 2nd scan yesterday and have one follicle ready to pop!! Back on Thursady to see whats happened. Need to BD tonight and Monday so need to feel abit brighter

pops - good for you, definitely a good thing to let your hair down and enjoy! you sound a lot more positive too. Before DD my periods were fairly regular, after DD I breastfed for nearly 18 months and periods didn't come back for first 10 months then were elusive. Although this is the longest gap! Enjoy your evening x

I'm back from my holiday, had a lovely time, was nice to be away in a hot country and relax and was nice being able to have a few drinks

Popsy well done on loosing over half a stone, thats great, i wouldn't mind loosing half a stone to take me back down to 10. Maybe now the nicer weather is here i might start eating more healthier. Healthy food is so boring though.

Fairy i'm so sorry if it was a miscarriage, hope your ok.

Chloe the spotting mid cycle sounds like it could be ovulation, i've never had this but some people do spot when ovulating.

Clure thats good news about the letter arriving, hope you will start all the tests soon. Would you think about donor eggs if your eggs weren't viable?

Becky i was also excited to know i was moving on from clomid, although will still need to take it when i start iui next month. Hopefully you will be nhs funded, i would think so as you don't have any dc of your own but that's only what my clinic told me.

Welcome mummyjo hope dc2 will happen soon for you, i rarely get sore boobs which i'm kind of glad about, didn't really get them with clomid either.

Hi girls, may I join you?
I am TTC, but since coming off the pill 5 months ago have had very short cycles...every 16 or 18 days. I think this is probably irregular and means I'm not ovulating. I was thinking of leaving it a bit longer before going to see the doc, but wanted to hear what you're experiences were. Especially about clomid, as that is likely to be what is suggested. What is itm how does it work and more importantly - does it work!!
Am new at all of this, and getting a bit scared that my body won't allow me to conceive.

Stac I've gotta go back on Friday if still bleeding or get any pain. I am still bleeding slightly & there are a few clots. I've never had this before.

Clure It's fab you have a date for investigations & yes we will get there. Fingers crossed DD does get a bro/sis. I'm sure she won't be choosey really!

Thanks Pops You said it sounded like an end & so did my best Friend. Dr said it might still hang on in there but I'm still bleeding so doubt it very much! You go for it with the drinking. The folli will pop whatever & you need to enjoy yourself!

Welcome Miffles. If you want to get started soon I'd tell a little white lie & say you've been trying longer. DH & I hae been trying 2 1/2 years now. We've had tests, clomid & now waiting on IVF!!! It's a slow process.

BTW We got a letter about IVF refferal but they are saying that I'm missing my pelvic scan but I had it on 14th Feb so will be chasing that up tomorrow!!!

Well i really have suffered with this hangover. Hardly been able to move all weekend!! Still planning at 9pm on a sunday night!! Really not good

Am on my second round of clomid and am wondering if it does regulate AF? Am on CD 30 [previous clomid cycle was 28 days], got a bfn on CD 29 -- so not sure what's up or what to do next. Any thoughts?

Glad i didnt Fairy, would hate to upset you. How did you get on today? Are you still bleeding? What tests did the docs do? Sorry for lots of questions but i have been thinking of you hun!

CD 18 for me. Had cm and cramps most of weekend so not sure it follicle has popped or due to pop. I am a lot more laid back about ttc atm. Dont get me wrong, i still want to get pg and have a healthy pregnancy so much, but i am not constantly body checking, symptoms spotting and even had to look in diary to check cd!! So i am hoping a BFP wont take as long this time. Although DH and i are very aware that it wont be a stress free pregnancy by any means!! Think those days are well and truely over

Anyway must get back to work. Hope all are well

Pops Glad you read that for what I meant rather than what I actually wrote (stupid keyboard. Blood tests ok. Still bleeding but it's just a trickle. Not heavy enough for a towel but I guess a pantyliner wouldn't be able to handle it. The Dr is just looking at thyroid, blood sugar & blood count. From what I can make of the whole convo with her she thinks it's early pg. Too early for scan.

Stac can you remember what your bleeding was like?

Glad your doctor seems to be on the ball! How many weeks could you be?

About 5-6 weeks

fairy sometimes it was really red, had brown stuff and other times it was just pink to wipe. I was in agony for about 3 weeks. I actually thought i had a burst cyst or something. The af before bfp was very heavy to the extent i had clots falling out of me (sorry tmi at teatime) dp thinks i mc then but try not to think that as i know af can be bad due to pcos. Are you being sent for a scan? Also my cuz bled at the start of her pregnancy and it was cos she was pg with twins and miscarried one of them not great but she still had a healthy girl. Sorry for going on hun. Thinking of you x

fairy does this mean it still mc or is possibility you could be pg? Glad your test ok, soz didn't text you back you know what a madhouse school is like!

womanly, wait a couple of days and test again, sometimes clomid can play silly buggers with your cycle!

Clure You might see Stac photos through my fb page. They don't know. It's gonna be 7-10 days before they can tell. I just don't know Waiting game. On the plus side I chased up hosp about pelvic scan & they said they did send it off so now just need to check with clinic that they do actually have it.

Stac It's been from brown gunge, almost black blood, red with a few clots, pinky, and watery. I just don't know. Seems to be easing today. A few niggles like pressure but sometimes a stabbing pain. Nothing as bad as it can be with PCOS! How confusing is all this????
