It's going ok - looking for a certificate number?????

not sure how the statement flows so I've sent it to a teacher friend who has applied for jobs recently & another friend who employs teachers for LEA so good advice I hope!

OP posts:
stac14 · 21/02/2010 16:10

is your certificate number your candidate number for when you did your exams? or your diploma/degree number?

Fairygodmother1 · 21/02/2010 17:02

i think so but there isn't one on there!!!

Venetia2 · 21/02/2010 17:48

Popsy I for one definitely don't think you were being patronising, actually its great to hear that others are going through the same emotional turmoil as me (well not great that you are having it but great knowing its not just me).

Ladybird10 · 21/02/2010 18:38

Thankyou for the hugs ladies xx i'm feeling more positive today.

Fairy it's nice to have a cycle buddy i think i had the same night as you last night, cuddled up to a hot water bottle and was taking lots of painkillers, also kept waking in the night as in so much pain and needing to change etc....not nice just can't wait for 9 months off this crap.

Popsy i also live in the Mindlands When i'm feeling a bit low about ttc i just think of you and stac, i know i don't actually know you personally but it makes it easier knowing that you both have struggled but got there in the end, and i beleive all us ladies will too

Hope everyone has enjoyed their weekend

Evening folks. Just popped in to say hello and catch up.

I'm CD19 today. My boobs are firkin killing me, twingey pains down below and totally feelin crap. Emotions running amok Trying to stay positive so me, DP + DD went for a game of bowling and some grub at Chiquito's (Mexican's) - helped take my mind off this waiting game which is totally doing my head in.

Fairy Lady - Sorry about AF - beyatch that she is. Sending [hugs] your way.

Stac - When I seen the nurse I did mention the breast pain but all she said was that the clomid can do this, and that it was a good sign.

Clure My god, I'm starting to think you are superwoman. I used to go to a bodypump class every monday and then walk 8k every thursday until I done my ankle. Can't wait to get back to exercise, you are a role model and a half girl

Ven Just wanted to say sorry about your dad [hugs]. Glad that your IUI is moving on, you'll get there in the end. The number of treatment cycles offered is really good. What's this about grapefruit juice that I don't know?

Debi Still singing that song? You still waiting to test then?

Hi to Becky Jobo Care Emmy Lucy & Yummy - it now feels like I'm writing a book when I visit but it's great that we've got each other

Hello,

I hope you don't mind me posting on this thread but I have a clomid ques and thought maybe you could help.

I've taken clomid for 1 cycle, did test this AM which was negative. Called clinic and I'm now confused about whether I should start taking clomid again when AF starts or go back and see the consultant. Scans showed folicle and blood tests showed I did OV.

What usually happens / what are other people's experiences? Am feeling a bit fed up about negative test so the clinic being unhelpful has just made me feel miserable and confused.

Thanks

Fairygodmother1 · 22/02/2010 18:29

Sorry reallygrumpy what is your question? How many cycles have you been given? I took each cycle on days 2-6 every time I got AF.

Hi all,

I'm ok, took me ages to get to sleep & and a bit of a sulk about being a failure!
Still on the painkillers but pain is mild & they lasted 8 hours between dose so should be free of them tomorrow.
Hard day at work. Just felt like i didn't belong either! Oh well.

How's everyone's Monday?

Hi all, I posted a minute ago and now it has disappeared so having another go, apologies if I do this twice.

Fairy sorry it is so painful,
Stac the scan sounds great,
Shev Grapefruit juice allegedly improves CM, not sure but desparate (can't spell it sorry)

Can I have a small rant? Had an email today from a friend announcing she is 4 months pg. She lives 300 miles from her hb and didn't realise she was pg until 4 months. They haven't been trying for very long.....LIFE IS VERY UNFAIR

Sorry, feel guilty but also this is how I feel, I assume given my current effect on everyone around me you will all have well deserved BFPs soon! (Although I would be delighted if any one of you does, well I think my slightly mad reasoning of how much people "deserve" it has been discussed before!)

After all your wise words I thought the mood swings were under control, anyhow going for a hot bath and long read of my book now

Welcome reallygrumpy, like the name. Could the clinic not give you some more advice over the phone? When is the next time you are supposed to see them? How much Clomid did they give you, i.e. enough for 3 or 6 months? (Sorry for the questions but its for us to help if we know this stuff!)

reallygrumpy · 22/02/2010 18:53

Hi all,

The consultant gave me a prescription for enough clomid for 6 months and I've taken it for 1. The consultant was really helpful but the staff at the clinic where I've had scans and blood tests are a bit rubbish and I don't really want to go back to the consultant if I can help it because it's another £170. That may sound really tight but because of my local PCT's rules we've had to pay for all tests, scans, appointments with consultant etc and it's already cost £1500.

The reason I'm confused is that I thought I took the clomid for 6 months but now the clinic seems to be telling me to see the consultant again and I don't understand why.

Debicemmy2 · 22/02/2010 19:05

Hi ladies and welcome reallygrumpy love the name too everyone on here are very helpful so like Ven said if you can give us more infor maybe we can help hun.

Still no AF for me but im sure she is on her way,,,,,,,,,,,maybe I just messed my system up with having a rest from clomid in Dec eh [comfused] like I said, last month was CD 25 but every month before this I was CD 31/32 im now CD 34.And to be honest we really didnt do that much trying so I dont think I am.......think she is just late
Hope ALL you lovely people are well today.
Back to work today and so didnt want to go but I made it
Sending lots of luck to you all.

Shev40 · 22/02/2010 19:15

Evening All & welcome reallygrumpy

This was my first month on clomid, which I took on days 3 to 7 of my cycle. I was given 3 months supply and so far I've had a scan at CD 13 - which I was told I wouldn't be getting for other cycles and am getting bloods taken on CD's 21 & 27. My nurse told me that if 1st cycle didn't work, I should just continue on CD 3 of next AF and continue to make appointments to get the bloods done. The blood is taken by my own dr's surgery. My next appointment with the infertility nurse isn't until 30th Mar, so I've pretty much been left but they are following me up. Hope that helps!

Sore boobie day again for me - bloods 2moro and hoping that results come back quick. Can't wait to find out what my progesterone level is....

Fairygodmother1 · 22/02/2010 19:15

deb I was 37 this month which should have been 29 latest! God knows what I'll be now the clomid is no more!

reallygrumpy I'd take my next cycle of clomid when af arrives and wait for a letter if the cons wants to see you.

Ven it's not too painful. Just took some more & it's eased. should be ok tomorrow!

Ladybird10 · 22/02/2010 19:31

Thats great news about the scan Stac must be so exciting.

Ven i agree life is very unfair, how can these people get pg so easily whilst we struggle.

Reallygrupmy good name, thats how we all feel sometimes!
If af doesnt arrive then you should start taking clomid again on day 2-6 or some people take it on days 3-7, probably best to do a HPT just to make sure your not pg before you take the first tablet.
You would think the staff would be more helpful as you have paid so much. Are you not on the nhs?

Babydust to all **

stac14 · 22/02/2010 19:46

Welcome to the thread reallygrumpy I think what your cons is saying is you keep going with the clomid for 6 months. The best thing you can do is call and double check but as you ovulated on it you wont be given further monitoring.

fairy Sorry your still feeling crappy, is it still heavy?

ven It wasn't a scan today it was the heartbeat monitor hun, but lo was too active for the crap one she used at first lol. Totally understand the bfp especially when you feel its been handed to people on a plate. One of the crap emotions we are made to go through. Glad af is calming down

deb my cycles varied dramatically, with or without clomid, the last cycle before bfp was 6 weeks long so try not to worry. Think you have to think of your sanity with the clomid which is why a lot of us take breaks. What makes you think af is on its way?

shev good luck with the bloods hun, usually they took about 2-3 days, only time I heard back was when I ov'd on clomid lol

Debicemmy2 · 22/02/2010 20:18

Stac I think its on its way with the little discomfort I am getting hun. Had it last week then it stopped again but today came back How you feeling now?

Fairy Have you stopped taking clomid now? How long was you on it?

Shev good luck with the bloods hun

Not heard from pops and pink are they well?
Hello to everyone else hope your ALL keeping well.
