OK, I have kicked the dog off the bed been very nice to DP for the last few days in preparation for the mystery seduction and he knows i'm coming in to my amourous time of the month so i've been working out in my head which days we should do it ... is it wrong that i've marked my diary?!?!? It's more like a bleedin' science experiment this TTC lark, I'd hate to see the state i'd get myself into if I had one of them CBFM gadgets!

The hardest part is not letting on to DP, especially if it doesn't end up happening on the right days... have to carry on being sweetness and light to improve my chances the next day lol

I reckon SWI week could compete with the 2ww for driving me to insanity!

I thought I'd test the waters with getting DH involved in project 'Being aware of fertile time for maximum shagging efficiency'. I subtley enquired what our plans were for Valentines Day as I'd be erm, you know, err, well, fertile around then.

He laughed and said sorry, that as he was giving blood on Friday he wasn't allowed any strenous excercise until Saturday. Perhaps he should save his bodily fluids for me!!! And anyway, we'll see about that!

Actually, I think he's quite keen on the idea, and mainly it's just me being nervous of freaking him out. He seemed quite interested in taking the vitamins I got him and studiously read the back and dutifully took one at the correct time. Aahhhh

Hello all. Still lurking alongside the bus.

I think men like the idea of more sex but its the performing element of it that freaks them out. You tell them (or rather you don't) that you're ovulating -your part in the plan and now it's up to them...

My dh waved goodbye yesterday for his 10 day trip which according to ovulation calendar (in my diary) means he'll be away for the big event! Am I crazy enough to carry on checking signs of ovulation? probably. TTC is turning me into a loon!

twowellies Yes, that's true must put a lot of pressure on feeling that they 'have' to perform. Ahh, will have to spoil DH between now and then, then!

SWI starts tonight for me
Have informed DH that he will be required every night until I ovulate, which could be as many as 17 nights, but should hopefully be more like 10!
Have involved him as much as he can handle...explain that I am showing 'fertile signs' rather than EWCM and ripe cervix, which would probably put him off for life
He is as broody for #2 as I am which helps but last month, on about day 10 of SWI he asked if it was ok if we just had a quickie

loopy 17months that would be next month for me. Heres hoping for a 16 month gap! How did you find that age gap? I have 2 and 3 years respectively between my others.

SWI I just don't tell him think he susses it though as he doesn't get much the rest of the month!

Have been working on 25th as being CD1 as thats the day I stopped the pill. By rights that means I should get busy in case

Morning ladies

DP broached the subject of SWI last night. DD was the result of a specially purpose-planned shag-fest holiday October 2008. That was every day in the window at least twice a day After trying for 5 years and with a cycle of IVF in the offing we had decided to give it one last mammoth try. He is now planning the same for next week.

Am gearing myself up for the SWI-athon

poss for me this morning on the OV test have swi on Tues & Thurs then will be again tomorrow all fingers crossed!

Morning - no idea what is happening to my body post MC in Dec but I appear to be back on CD1, what a waste of time all that SWI was. Have moved down to the back of the bus.

hi everyone.

Welcome newbies.

nothing very interesting here, have started SWI every other day and tb brutally hoest it was a bit depressing last night. 2 reasons really

1 - We shouldn't have to be doing this, I should have had my nuchal today and we should be having sex for fun now.

2 - No matter how much foreplay, massage etc, we both know that we just want to get it over with, dh do his duty so to speak, (i'm just a machine he says)and you just can't get around that.

Have booked a very nice table for dinner tuesday night, just for a bit of romance.

still cd9 tomorrow, time is creeping on. Am praying so hard this month and crossing everything so much, it's difficult to type.
