Urrgghh! CD25 and my temperature hasn't gone up much at all. I definately had the thermal shift on CD20 and we'd DTD a-plenty but surely my temp would've gone up further if I was pg? So that's me, no symptoms or signs just wondering what on earth to do now...waiting is torture!! xxx

TeaFan · 22/02/2010 13:41

decaf and sunshine I feel your pain CD26 of a 27 day cycle yesterday and familiar pinkness arrived, this morning too with a few cramps thrown in Am glad for a regular cycle but am so fed up of it not happening now. I only count the cycles when we time it right (6 counting this one) but it's been 12 months now...

Don't know if being on the 'bus' helps or makes it worse but I always end up joining and then logging in approximately every 20 minuites 2 hours to see if anything has happened! Think i'm going to write down every symptom that i've had this month so that I can refer to it next when i'm getting my hopes up!

sunshineandstrawberries · 22/02/2010 13:46

TeaFan I'm exactly the same.

Also weirdly have been trying the same length of time and I also only really count the months when we timed it right!

I need to go and check for more pink stuff but i want to symptom spot for at least another hour - yes I am delusional today - really fed up if its baby fail again as we were almost scientific this month, we must have hit the jackpot right?!

Fingers crossed tightly for us and Decaf

decafgirl · 22/02/2010 13:55

Thanks ladies, feel like scientific is exactly the word for it...last month I was convinced I was pg - I had every symptom going and this month it's the opposite! Can't believe this is only cycle 2 for us but ttc#1 was a lengthy nightmare and don't want to be the last one standing out of my friends to have a 2nd child. Does that make sense? I have super fertile friends...

xxx

I have chocolate freshly cooked muffins in case any one is peckish. I also seem to be watching Bob the Builder not so much fun.

Polly I hope that your trip to your mum's did the business and you are all nice and looked after. Also hopefully the wicked witch has not come yet.

Got a smiley face on my clearblue thingy so should have SWI. Had some yesterday morning so might try again tonight and maybe Weds. Who knows... I think maybe I have been overdoing and the sperms can't cope so was going to cut down a bit at SWI time just to see if that helps. Obviously if the lucky sperm is out there I hope it does its business this week.

Hi all.
Have been away for a week, during which time AF arrived. Not supprising though - my first two cycles after stopping taing pill (but not TTC) where exactly 26 days. So in using the ov calculator I put in 26 days - but next cycle was 30 days so has SWI at totally wrong time - off by a week (plus luteal phase of 12 days which I didn't know at the time). DH and I seem to run out of energy after a week of trying (usually ill/working/tired/etc) so thought I'd leave it 'til later last cycle but bloody EWC showed up way earlier than expected right in the middle of 2 days of parents evening for me and DH working 3 nights in a row. Grrr. So cycle back down to 26 days now. Hoping it stays put.
Note to self: Must do MUCH more SWI this month!

rosieposey · 22/02/2010 18:50

I have the worst cold in the world, bad sinuses and a temperature I would LOVE some muffins Lou (and probably some hot choccy to go with it).

After all the confusion of my OPK's this month showing no surge i randomly tested with a 10mui this afternoon and a wee sample that i had held for about six hours as had a v busy day and got a line straight away ... however, Then got back from the docs about an hour later (went to get some antibiotics) and did another one and it was negative as was the clearblue digi I have started a thread about it as i wanted peoples opinion on whether that line looked like a line or not i have put the photo of it on my profile. Anyway, will test again tomorrow morning as am not convinced (evap line maybe) but am keeping my fingers crossed.

Im on CD25 as well (of 28 days) no symptoms at all except shitty cold. Am glad i joined this bus its really nice to see everyone in the same boat with the same worries ect - bloody opk's AND hpt's!!!

twowellies · 22/02/2010 20:06

Still lurking the bus/limo... have resisted mn for a week or so but had to come and have a look at how everyone was doing.

I love seeing BFP's - makes me smile so much.

DH has been working away for most of this month. But you never know - one of them might have made it...have been feeling a little off colour so...who knows.

I tried opk's last month and was so stressed by them that I think it added to not conceiving. They also showed I was ovulating for 6 days - ummm think there might have been something wrong. So back to cm monitoring this month instead. Know what I'm doing and it's free!

liahgen66 · 22/02/2010 20:26

No period here yet and neg on cheapie so am waiting for it to arrive so I we can crack on again

Am I the only one who monitors absolutely nothing? I don't check for ewcm, don't temp, no opk's etc etc.

so rosie have you suggested anyone take a little peek on your profile

What do we think? I have commented on your other thread.

lou muffins, yes please, I seem to have gained 4lbs this week so what the hell. (disclaimer, I don't think I have, I weighed fully dresses on very uneven kitchen floor)

hmm yummmy

liahgen66 · 22/02/2010 20:32

I have absolutely no idea what fully dresses are?

Fully dressed.

VodkaGirl77 · 22/02/2010 20:44

Hi

I added myself to the bus right at the beginning of my cycle, but haven't posted since, although have been lurking.

Anyway I have some news I wanted to share. Did Superdrug own test this afternoon and it was POSITIVE. Am in shock. Day 26 of 28 day cycle. Was a bit feint but definitely there.

Am very very scared though, as had chemical pregnancy last month, although this line at CD26 is stronger than any of the tests I did last month even at day 32.

So got everything crossed, and will be testing again with FMU.

liahgen66 · 22/02/2010 20:47

woohoo vodkagirl I remember you.

congrats

lucielooo · 22/02/2010 21:27

Congratulation vodkagirl lovely to see another BFP on the November bus!
I haven't been on here for a week or so as it's been too busy at work and I've just been away on a hen weekend, back today and thought I'd drop in to what's new. Even though my cycle length is 24-32, it's usually 28 so AF due on Friday.. Going to try and be really really good an not test till saturday
I have zero symptoms this month except for some major lightheadedness a few days ago but it went away so must have just been a bit off colour Had cramping at strange times around ovulation and EW/Watery cm that went on for 12 days so really not sure when or even if I ovulated last month!

Fingers crossed for all you girls both in the fun SWI bit or the nailbiting 2ww! x

wheresthepinkyponk · 22/02/2010 21:54

hi, just wanted to tell everyone i got a BFP today! Been testing last couple of days and could see the very faintest of lines last night and this morning. Tried to convince myself that it was just background of test or evaporation line but been feeling rotten so i got a digital one and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks. less than 3 weeks since last period. Wishing everyone lots of luck

QueenFee · 22/02/2010 21:56

congrats on the bfp's wow!
I'm waiting till the 25th to do my just in case poas (if you remember af has not yet returned as bf dc3)
Fingers crossed for those about to test and have fun those of you in the swi-ing stage!

LadyBee · 22/02/2010 22:46

Wow! BFPs ahoy! congrats ladies

Well, I'm desperately seeking implantation symptoms but nothing at all so far. I was looking at a graph like [http://sprojects.mmi.mcgill.ca/menstrualcycle/physiology.html this]] and totally felt the progesterone surge - sluggish digestion, tired, 'sicky' feeling etc etc. At least I managed to stop myself thinking 'I must be pg' this month as I really don't think we're lucky.
A few days ago I met up with a friend who is 5 months pg, but has had a really hard road getting there so only felt happy for her - was a bit jealous when she told me it only took 1 month of trying (but it's been 1 month several times, so I'm not sure I can call her lucky). She said she used an OPK and seeing next month will be 6 months for us and my GP said to go back after that I'll be splashing out on one and a thermometer and telling DH to get ready to give it his all
I'm pleased to be in the last week now - even if it's more optimistically looking forward to the next cycle than hanging out to test

LadyBee · 22/02/2010 22:48

poo. This is the graph here

Blimey loads of BFP's congratulations !!!

I dont think this is going to be my lucky month im afraid, have done about 6 more tests including a fmu this morning and there is still only one line. Its very disappointing especially as i really thought i was pg yesterday (after all a line is a line!) but in my case it wasnt. I have said on my other thread that i dont even think it was an evap line as its still really visible and pink today i think there was a problem with that particular tests dye as there is clump of pink dye just infront of the line (see the photo on my profile and tell me what you think?) and the test is still really pink in the background wheras all the negs that i have been getting are all white with just one very visible line.

Never mind, AF should be here in a couple of days then its time to start all over again - onwards and upwards so to speak good luck to everybody else - i hope we get lots of bfps for November.

livviloo · 23/02/2010 15:06

I am day 29 but the opk this month (first month of using) said I ovulated d 20 so I'm guessing I need to wait a bit longer. Tested this am and was BFN though. I will test again on thursday I think.

livviloo · 23/02/2010 15:06

oh sorry congratulations to all the BFPs great woohoo!

Medee · 23/02/2010 19:14

testing in two days, if droid doesn't appear - which it may well do.

luckyseven · 23/02/2010 19:40

Can i join you please (just discovered mumsnet thanks to an article in Grazia)

If i have the lingo right I am ....

luckyseven TTC#1 Cycle 7 UCL25-26 CD5

I use a CBFM, this month I am taking a break from temperature taking because the CBFM and temp rise never match up and starting the day obsessing about ttc was becoming unhealthy! On top of that i was doing opks and getting 6 positives each month so all the information was driving me crazy!

Looking forward to riding the November bus with you all!
