did a clearblue dig this afternoon and the lovely words Pregnant 1-2 weeks came up so def a BFP

I used the tescos OV tests from day 7 (bought 2 packs) then also did the deed every other day from day 7 till 15 even if I did feel like it I made my self get in the mood lol!

Been keeping well away from the conception threads for a while as last AF hit me pretty hard. Another friend with a dd younger than my ds has told me she is 6 weeks pg, first month trying as well. Am happy for her and pleased I'm the first she's told as it somehow seems worse when you find out from someone else that a friend is 13 weeks.

Anyway, heading into swi territory now. DH has been fully informed that he is to improve massively upon last month's performance. Especially as my cycles vary so much that the potential fertility window could be three weeks long. We've got a fair old shagathon ahead of us.

Good luck to those coming to the end of the 2ww. Am determined not to symptom spot this time as I got it so monumentally wrong last time, mistaking ov symptoms for pg symptoms. Classic.

Put my last period dates into the calculator and if I do get the lucky sperm this month baby will be due on TH birthday. Oh well both him and DS were 6 weeks early so don't look at due date too closely...

Sorry to hear that AF hit you hard AsianBabe and digitalgirl, it's never easy is it Think I might have lined myself up for a fall this month, got my hopes up but haven't tested yet and now I think I might have got it wrong. DP told me yesterday that he thinks his sperm 'all swim backwards or something'...poor DP, explained that it's normal to have these thoughts when TTC#1 but he still reckons he's going to get a test.

Sorry Polly that is shit. People are not very subtle when it comes to asking about more kiddies. My friend said to say "We'll see" sort of works. Can help if people know that you are trying and finding it stressful then they seem to leave you alone a bit. Specially if you snap at them (not that I have ever done that - just what I heard ).

so being the addict I am, I poas this morning with my remaining fr and very definately negative. Am feeling as if period about to come too so am assuming now that it was indeed residual.

Hey not to worry, the good thing is that now i've seen it's really neg, i know my body is clear of any residual hormones. I am disappointed but that would have been very very lucky to get the bfp straight away wouldn't it? It's fine, really it is.

I know I can crack on now, period will arrive tomorrow i reckon and I'll still be on November bus being 26 day cycles.
