YAY Lia. Maybe this is going to be the lucky month. Fingers crossed. Was a very subdued YAY by the way. Leave the test til tomorrow.

No appointment made yet but as I told TH that I didn't want to be with him and there was not going to be any babies - maybe there is a reason. Will get an appointment later.

Might even have sex later.

for lia >

liahgen66 · 19/02/2010 11:02

thank you so much ladies,

Am scared shitless to be very honest. Have made doc appt for later today so that am hoping maybe she will send me for hcg blood, that'll be fairly conclusive one way or the other .

lou go on have nooky later, give him a nice massage in a relaxed place, let one thing lead to another. I'm glad you've been honest with him, sometimes I don't think they realise how close they come and need a little nudge to remind them. Simple folk men really. I am sure it'll work out for you, you love each other right? that's gotta count for something?

Sorry for self indulged morning, period not actually due till Monday so am still dubious but more optimistic. A line is a line right? Dh has said he's reserving judgement for the moment and he's not gonna tell anyone. It hit him quite hard last time.

God it's gonna ba a long day!!!

Good luck to everyone else. You know I know we joke about it but sometimes MN really is a sanity saver, rl folks would think i'd completelt lost the plot if I started going on about lines that you can see at arms length

You are all so lovely, I know we'll all do it eventually.

Loujalou · 19/02/2010 11:13

Lia you are welcome to post a piccie if you want us to obsess get our opinion but I don't think they ever come out well.

Loujalou · 19/02/2010 11:13

Am off out tonight with a friend for dinner will make sure I'm not out too late and pounce on him.

rosieposey · 19/02/2010 11:23

Wow Lia thats great news, im sure you will be fine with this one, will keep everything crossed its a sticky one - well done to you and DH

Loujalou · 19/02/2010 12:04

Might jump on TH when DS is napping as he is taking a half day (TH not DS). Then won't have to worry about rushing home tonight.

ILoveGregoryHouse · 19/02/2010 13:06

Congrats lia. Hope your doc agrees to the hcgs.

LittleSilver · 19/02/2010 13:18

Congratulations Lia! ILGH not alone in sidecar now! Teafan I am Cycle 1 btw, thank you!

TeaFan · 19/02/2010 15:56

Right ladies, I am going insane here, symptoms so far are feeling a bit sick (last 3 days - prob fighting off a stomach bug), boobs feeling tender and nipples sensitive (can't make my mind up if this is different to normal). Tomorrow I will be a minimum of 10DPO and can't make my mind up whether to test. I know I shouldn't really and if it is BFN I will still be holding out hope so is there a point? I only have a 25IU test anyway.

How are you feeling Lia?

No prizes for guessing where Louja has disappeared off to!

Teafan hold off til 14dpo if you only have the 25 test. Think of the money you're saving .

Nanny01 · 19/02/2010 16:54

Just checked in today and saw that liaghen66 got her BFP. I'm just finishing my AF so hopefully we can get back to TTC very soon. Well done liaghen66.

SilverBoots · 19/02/2010 19:14

Congratulations Lia !

Lou - pleased that you are 'busy'!

Me (me, me) - 6dpo ... Today I devised my own 'mumsnet antenatal thread initiation ceremony':

I did a test (10ui) this afternoon BFN (of course), squinted at the test at all angles, in bedroom daylight, bathroom daylight, spotlight etc still BFN. Took the thing apart which was really tricky & downright disgusting but hugely satisfying. BFN.
I now feel like a fully paid up member of the club.

I think I will do it all again tomorrow.

As for my 'symptoms' - DH has a bug & exactly the same dizzyness/tiredness as me ... or we are BOTH pg! (his boobs don't hurt though)

Hope everyone OK

Boots x

Maclaren · 19/02/2010 19:37

Congrates Lia

I hot footed it to sainsbury's this afternoon after you said you think their tests are sensitive and i think you are right as did one this evening and got a very faint BFP but a BFP is a BFP right am going to test again in the morning with forst wee to make sure!

Loujalou · 19/02/2010 19:46

Nope hubby ill so nothing this afternoon. Maybe later - maybe more likely in the morning if I am rested.

Congrats Mac. Well done you.

rosieposey · 19/02/2010 20:04

Wow two in one day congrats Maclaren ... S'burys are going to be doing a roaring trade in hpts!

smallblackflowers · 19/02/2010 20:52

Congrats Maclaren and Lia!

I'm 10 dpo tomorrow and might just cave and POAS - have loads of those ebay cheapies stashed in the bathroom....was planning on waiting till Monday but what the hell...

Fairygodmother1 · 19/02/2010 21:05

Hi all,

Can I join? I'll sit quietly at the back as haven't got AF just yet but she's brewing. I've just had a week where I was positive I'd bef a BFP as I'm now over a week late but it's not to be.

Feel like a manic symptom spotter & was even fooled by nausea & sickness this week - which has turned out to be a bug!!!

If af is in full flow tomorrow i'll be due 27th Nov so i'll sit quietly at the back anyway!

thanks for listening!

Oops - wrong place! Sorry about that laydeez. (Wish I could blame it on the booze, but haven't even had a drop yet... sad state of affairs on a Friday night) Anyway, will get that one removed.

LittleSilver · 19/02/2010 21:23

Congratulations Mclaren. SilverBoots that was hysterical!
