I haven't checked in much but you all sound like you are having fun on the bus!

First I had my first proper AF since having my mirena coil removed an it went on for 12 days on and off.

I have been poas this month with internet cheapies to see if I have ovulated and no surge detected but I did miss one day(day 12 I think).

DH has been"tired" and stressed at work so SWI at all the wrong times (I think day 9,11 and 16) and then under duress who knows I forgot to write it down and my brain is like mush so I have forgotten. I am not very professional at this.

So I think I'm on a 2 week wait but haven't got a clue.

rosey I am TTC#3 and have a 9 and 7 year old. I noticed you have a big gap. How have you felt this has been? I'm a little worried about this and it has put me off trying but now we have decided to go for it anyway, we are wanting 2 more.

This bus has become very amusing this afternoon/evening! Keep it up girls (or should I say DPs / DHs!)

ILGH managed a lunch time quickie yesterday as I am on mat leave and DH is out of work - it was only a quickie as DD can only stand to play alone in her cot for about 10 mins before she starts to get upset....am actually quite amazed that it happened at all, as thought DH would laugh at me when I suggested a 'last chance this month bonk'. I'm pretty sure I'm obsessing a lot bit, so thought my request may have been seen as unreasonable

Just opening a bottle of red - anyone want a glass?

rosieposey · 12/02/2010 21:22

QueenFee glad to hear that im not the only crazy/sane one on here

Liahagen66 Glad there is someone else relying on the poas method too, im just reading your most recent post and getting some tips to keep the SWI interesting too

The clearblue OPK says you can test anytime including first thing - but if you say its better later on then thats probably where im going wrong. Tis annoying as the internet cheapies had just started getting darker but not dark enough it seems (did another sneaky one this eve and it was pale again) so maybe its just not happening this month, just to be on the safe side DH and i are SWI everyday anyway just incase, probably too much but DH isn't complaining (just yet but its only the first month!)

JetLi · 12/02/2010 21:24

Yes please!

rosieposey · 12/02/2010 21:32

livviloo My girls are 17, 15 and 12 and DS only came about because i met my lovely DH three years ago, however now i have that kind of gap its lovely how hands on they are and 7 and 9 are such sweet ages so i think you will really enjoy it.

Queenfee is very brave! I remember when my girls were all under 6 and i was a bit so im not sure i could do that again, if i can just pull it off ('scuse the pun) one more time then i will be very happy with my 5. Lol my eldest DD said to me a few weeks ago, 'mum... 5 is alot of kids you know' Do you think she is trying to tell me something? She loves her baby brother so much though its a bit of a bun fight to give him a cuddle tbh - long may it continue

rosieposey · 12/02/2010 21:34

I really fancy some wine SBF, cant though as have to pick up DD1 & 2 from a gig in town Feel about ready for bed though.

smallblackflowers · 12/02/2010 21:45

has anyone got a screwdriver I can borrow?
Started assembling an Ikea chest of drawers without thinking about the tools that I would require. It is now spread all over the living room carpet. Am sure DH has about 100 hidden in the garage but he isn't being very obliging.
Perhaps another glass of wine might help....(well it might help something, although I'm sure it won't do a very good job of getting all 20 of those little screwy things in )

liahgen66 · 12/02/2010 21:49

jett we had quickie this morning as dh didn't have to go into work till 9 and kids broke up yesterday.

so assume spoons pos, dh approaches catiously

me - erm, no dh wrong place

dh yes

I'll have a glass of red please, just had a curry and have small bag of minstrels so will go nicely thank you very much.

LadyBee · 12/02/2010 23:11

I once put an ikea shelf and drawer thingy together using a knife as a screwdriver. I don't recommend it though, couldn't write for a week after. More wine is probably a better solution, at least then you won't care if it all goes awry.

I feel ashamed at the distinct lack of toys involved in our SWI. Give it time huh?

Loujalou · 12/02/2010 23:24

I think you should all go to Ann Summers and see what there is. At least it makes SWI kinda interesting-ish. Argh. Can't type and it was only half a bottle of wine...

PancakesForTeaFan · 13/02/2010 10:53

Morning all, just updating the bus, who knew we were such a kinky creative bunch!!

lemon yes it was my DP that boiled his sperm...

Tea: Stop! You're killing them, put some cold in quick

Mr Tea: Don't be ridiculous

Tea: (sitting on loo lid finding evidence on laptop) It says here that you are killing them and we need to SWI tonight! (starts to cry)

Mr Tea: Oh for gods sake, i'll get out then and go outside for a sneaky fag stand on the patio for 10 mins, then will you be happy?!?!

Tea says yes but means no

Well it looks like this is my last month TTC as my DH has changed his mind mid family crisis this morning So I will console myself with s and symptom spot like mad till the end of the month.

Now why have I been feeling sick the last couple of days, surely it's not too early for symptoms is it

Icedlemonmuffin · 13/02/2010 22:14

It's a bit quite in here , where is everyone ?

Well you must be all down at ann summers buying crotchless knickers and nipples tassles

Jeremy Kyle confession - I haven't got a secret drawer !!

< runs back >
Im not going to be ashamed just haven't got the energy for bedroom fun and games.

Tea I've started telling dh to imagine the little sperms faces as he slowly kills them.

LadyBee · 13/02/2010 22:43

damn, good thing we got a shag in this morning, looks like DH has come down with the norovirus, just in time for what was supposed to be a romantic shag-fest coinciding with the fertile 'window'. And I have got masses of EWCM (sorry, tmi).
Fingers crossed he makes a very speedy recovery but I'm not holding out much hope now .
I think he realises what bad timing it is - not just ruining his plans to cook me a lovely meal tomorrow (he even bought pink champagne, sweet huh?), he was looking very pitiful and I don't think it was all directed at himself.

decafgirl · 14/02/2010 07:34

Good morning ladies. Am I the only one up? Am sooo sick of my DS deciding 6am is my wake up call. I just want another hour at the weekend - is that too much to ask? I think working full time + energetic toddler + ttc might just kill me!Have missed 2 days of SWI now for one reason or another so am starting to worry we're missing our chance. My temp usually goes up on CD20 and today will be CD17 I think. Do you think it's too late?

xx

Loujalou · 14/02/2010 09:23

Lemon as long as you haven't got your toys all over the place rather than in one secret drawer! If you get what I mean .

I have a secret too - apart from my well used vibrator most of the other bits haven't been used for months. Apart from some pretty knickers maybe.. Not sure who wore them though

How are the rest of you? Am at the end of witch time but no shag fest in sight as hubby is ill again. Oh well only on day 5 so no crucial.

livviloo · 14/02/2010 10:21

Good morning all.

I have some good news. What with it being a romantic weekend and my birthday week we just got on with some SFF yesterday am (kids reading and entertaining themselves) and then I was poas yesterday pm and guess what? It was positive for the LH surge!

So I told DH whilst we were on the way to the cinema and he wasn't too freaked out and then we managed to SWI last night too and then he wanted to this am(you know with it being valentines day sorry if this is TMI.

So It seems I am out of sync this month and there is hope after all.Hurrah.

queenfee hope you are ok.

liahgen66 · 14/02/2010 11:05

queen hope you are ok today, maybe it will work itself out. I hope so for you.

lou " as long as you haven't got your toys all over the place rather than in one secret drawer! If you get what I mean" err, that doesn't include the adult dvd I found in the gloves drawer in the dining room then? whoops. Luckily it was in a dark carrier bag, I remember i lent it to a friend and when she gave it bak to me i shoved it in the drawer and forgot to take it upstairs.

livvie go for it girl, crossing fingers for you.

Icedlemonmuffin · 14/02/2010 11:57

Lol Lou just be careful where you sit in my house!

Just wondering who is driving our bus ? Is he hunky and not wearing much? Or is he your typical bus driver , a bit weird looking? ( no offence if we have any bus drivers aboard).

liahgen66 · 14/02/2010 12:03

oh no muffin defo not a geasy old misery guts on here.

Dark hair, 6ft 3, nice build, normally wears a tight black t-shirt and jeans.

Lovely smile.

PancakesForTeaFan · 14/02/2010 13:23

Liahgen you have very good taste

Nothing much happening here, CD19 keep imagining sympoms and then reminding myself that DP killed all his swimmers so it is impossible this month
