I'm on this bus now, even though it's still light I've given up hope that it's anything other than a horrible painful period.

how f*in depressing. Not only have I missed the three month fertility window post-mc but I'm now back to long cycles again so have to wait effin ages till I ovulate by which point dh and I have run out of enthusiasm. And it's officially now taking longer than it did to conceive ds. Boo hiss.

Oh and I appear to have a 15-16 day luteal phase. On top of a 7-8 day period. Another thing that drags.

At least you don't have a short lp which would not give enough time for the bean to stick. I don't know why I am being so positive today when stupid period is on its way.

Am in the best part of ttc at the moment (apart from the as yet unexperienced getting a BFP)

According to Fertility Friend I should ovulate in 2-4 days though no EWCM as yet...

How long before ovulation does EWCM usually appear?

I think it varies person to person - I sometimes get days of it..thinking everyday 'ooh I must be just about to ovulate time to get jiggy' then have it for days and days....in fact I'm in that very place now day 6 of SWI

I had 2 days of EWCM this month but have had as many as 5 before, have given up trying to figure out what it means

Spent some time today reading about OV and conception generally and feel really now, feels like it's impossible and I only managed to SWI once this month and even then it was after DP boiled his testicles...pretty certain I won't be babbed up this cycle! Ignorance must truly be bliss!

Anybody got one of them alcoholic muffins??

Sorry wasn't here with them last night been experimenting- these are cocktail muffins!

I have got cosmopolitan muffins or black Russian so far, snack bite muffins a bit too strange.

Back to ttc getting stressed nothing for two nights as dh been doing weird shifts, told him be here tonight or else!

Sorry can't do stats ( haven't got a clue how to) plus sruggling just to post after one to many cocktail muffins!

Loopymumsy I think I normally have it for a few days but it sounds like it varies. First month of actually concentrating on SWI rather than me vaguely trying to engineer sex around the right sort of time. Put two mysterious stars in the shared calendar at the start and potential end of fertile window and DH seems to have picked up what this means Yay! And seems very happy to oblige, I was a bit worried that he'd feel like a sperm bank but so far so good. It's true what they say about the more you get the more you want! (sometimes)

So today I am 5 dpo and I am all ready symptom spotting

I have a back ache (which I had with Tom)
My boobs are very achy
and I have a funny feeling don below (again which I had with Tom)

but it must be in my head as 5 dpo is too early to feel anything inst it???

All the cocktail muffins are really good as they have folic acid, vit b complex , vit e and lots of others for that are good for fertility .

Well done on the early symptom spotting Maclaren, they sound legitimate to me I am going to embrace symptom spotting this cycle as my reward for the effort of trying to get the timing of the SWI right! As unlikely as it is that I will be preggers everybody that watches Jeremy Kyle knows that you only have to do it once!

lol Tea you never know I have just read back from when I was TTC Tom and it turns out DH & I only did the deed once the month I fell!

Argh looks like I have officially joined this bus. Nevermind maybe this is the month. Have decided to try hypnotherapy. It helped me to relax before when learning to drive so its got to be worth a go. Also want to try acupuncture but the woman I want to see is off for the next month so might stick with the hypno to begin with....

Well, 1DPO and no symptoms yet!

I am a little tipsy Tea (have sampled a few muffins) but it can be helpful when ttc.

I have got a nagging pain in my right side , think im laying an egg , yeah ! Going to swi tonight dh got a report to write but I've booked him for 5 mins at ten o'clock tonight so fingers crossed . ( sprinkled baby dust over everyone , don't care if it's not the done thing on this thread, I need all the help I can get) .

Oh and I'm going to put my legs in the air afterwards. I'm desperate will try anything.

Sorry to see you had to join us digitalgirl I had high hopes for us on the Oct bus.

I know what you mean about longer cycles etc it feels like we just get going then it's nearly 3 weeks of nothing until it all starts again and I HATE HATE HATE waiting for anything never mind a potential pregnancy!
