Gypsymummy - I find using a CBFM reduces stress for me and my DH ... but maybe that is just how I am and the length of time we have been ttc#1!

Vikks - that sounds really close now, be thinking of you!

My Gp said he needed to think what tests I needed - I did tell him 3 day and 21 day blood tests, but have to wait 10 days until I can go to receptionist to get form for what he has decided; guess the high prolactin he is thinking of medically, I am just thinking about cycles! Actually I will miss this cycle for tests now, so am resigned to another months wait!

thanks salander i meant exactly that! i hope all goes well your way..i guess just knwoing when you are fertile does not mean you will get pregnant but it sure does help to set the tracks..i will get one and start on it and see how it goes..i just can't afford to do this haphazardly and so seeing what you all ladies posted here made me think of using this monitor ..best of luck to all!

Hoping you peeps can help me as I have bourght one after anunsuccessful cycle. Any tips most gratefully received.

Yippee I've got a follicle!!!!!! IUI tomorrow morning, fingers crossed everyone. It was touch and go there for a while as I've got quite a few 14mm follicles and a big juicy 20mm. The nurse wasn't sure whether I'd be able to proceed with all the 14mm being on the border line. But she checked with my Doc and he said go ahead! So I had my trigger while I was there and IUI is tomorrow, how am I going to sleep tonight? As you can tell I'm not building my hopes up too much.....DH wants me to calm down but I need to think positively.

Can you all sprinkle some baby dust this way please?

Hi Nanny x-post there. Good luck with the CBFM, I hope it helps. What CD are you on? When do you think you can turn your monitor on?

Gypsymummy - I found amazon a good place (financially to buy one from and sticks), ebay might be worth a try if you not got one yet.

Nanny- the first two cycles I read the manual regularly, not I find it so easy to use, especially as it knows my cycle and I know what day it starts wanting sticks!

All done!!! That was weird but not painful and quite quick. A big thank you for all the well wishes and the baby dust. All we have to do now is wait?. and I apologise in advance because this is going to be an excruciating 2WW! How am I going to do it? Anyone else starting theirs? I may need some hand holding.

Thanks barrenbrook - appreciate those thoughts - am "pretending" all is well, to be honest, but home is better than all that time in hospital - not the way to start the end of one year and the first 2weeks of 2010. Hope you holding up as well as can be.

Kezia, I am also on a wait for bloods next week although getting them checked day 22 and think my cycle longer than 28days usually, also on day 19 and no sign of a peak yet so not sure is worth doing then? what does anyone think?

Just got my monitor and I going to switch it on tomorrow any tips on using it and programming it would be useful. AF is still with me oh my!

my 2ww is up on wed,i just hope the cbfm was right iam on cd33 i got 2 pecks on cd23/24
i just hope it was right cause last month i only got high's and had a 46cd,i just hope that whatever kind of hormones i have has not conffused the monitor.

because i had 2 pecks on 12/13 jan can i test on the 27th or will it still be to soon just i don't know when iam going to get my af,i get sore bbs and i feel sick just before i start so if i get that it does not help lol.i dont know when or if they are coming.

salander - the test is meant to be 7 days before end of cycle, so whilst known as 21 day test, for me I am going to do it on day 22 (as my cycles go from 29-31 days!)So if it was me and easy to get blood taken I would have it and then see dr to get another one done next cylce (more data the better in my opinion!) Great you getting tested, I had to wait ages till they would do anything nad I am 34! Eek.

Did you have a 3 day test? I haven't - but had a blood test, for thyroid etc anytime in cycle which showed raised prolactin and hence this test!

Switched my monitor on this morning got everything ready. I guess it's just waiting to see what happens I will be intrested in seeing what my cycle does as I have used clear blue ovulations tests and found the smiley face on day cd14 but I guess it dosn't always mean your ovulating especialy since it was my first cycle since stopping the pill. What has been other peoples experience using this monitor. Need to get a bfp this month or will have to skip two months to avoid November and December as dh and I have agreed that 3 birthdays and xmas is not good.

Evening all, sorry not to have been around, but on Monday night my poor mum sadly passed away. Am absolutely devastated and came back to UK on Tuesday to be with dad and brother. I also found out yesterday that I'm pregnant.
I cannot cope with any more and feel like I'm about to fall apart. Will be back soon, but good luck to you all x

iam really fed up today my 2ww is over i have my af it came this morning,when i went and got my cbfm to start it up it broke
so now iam lost i have only used it for 2 cycles and last month was the first month i got pecks.it is coming up with !then like a simcard and a phone
so looks like i need to find money for a new one

I would see if you can get the people that you bourght it of to replace it shouldn't break that quickly. Have you the reciept or an email from them. I had a problem with a remote from my daurghters ipod docking station and they replaced it.

i got it off ebay so can't get it replaced
so it look's like i need to fork out again
i got it for £50 and it was second hand,but i went back on ebay today and they are selling new one's for £50 but need to wait for a week or 2 to get one

iam so anoyed cause this is day1 of my third cycle with the monitor and i have over 20 sticks left so this month is going to be a hit and miss lol xx
