feel the same about a buffet. It's traditional in our family to have loads of different cakes at a kid's party, but I think it's really for the adults.

Neeko yes I think pickled cucumbers & gerkins are one & the same. You can buy them in long thin slices ready to put in your sandwich.

Blue did you watch Gunpowder, Treason & Plot that was on telly a few years back? The best bit was when hunky, kilted Bothwell said to Mary Queen of Scotts "I want you in MY bed tonight"..... I'll always remember that bit for some reason

Hi to everyone else - Neeko explain again about the cakes - is it a choclate cupcake with a marshmallow on top followed by a smartie? I have a 6 year olds bday party on saturday and think they would go down a treat!

LBM buy those little cake cases and fill the bottom with melted chocolate. Pop a marshmallow on top and attach a smartie to that with a little more melted chocolate. Theay are absolutely delicious and you can easily eat ten in a row!

Cupcake and Buddha - sorry to hear about the redundancies I've been through it myself and with DP and it is very scary - each time though, it has eventually worked out for the better. This could be just the change your lives need, only you don't know it yet. I made extra money out of my redundancy (and DP's) because the firms didn't follow the proper process and had to shell out another wedge of cash to avoid being taken to tribunal - in one case all because my P45 arrived just before the end of the "consultation period" and on the day I'd been for a redeployment interview !

Commiserations to Scottish football fans too - hope respective DP's were not in foul moods afterwards ...

Popping into give Moon a super big cuddly squeeeze cos its very important to know you are not alone on this day, that your LO will always be remembered, not just by you, and that you are loved, allowed to wobble, and probably alot braver than you actually feel today my lovely lady xxxxxxxxxxx EDDs are shit, its not fair, but your time will come xxxxx It doesnt matter if its your 1st or 4th edd, its the date your baby should have been born & its right to remember. I looked at my baby due on tues scan pictures, one scan was on baby no2s edd, life is strange & cruel sometimes... Luckily it seems you have had alot of support from your fellow emmsys, hopefully you have someone in RL who could give you a squeeze too? It makes all the difference xxxx

Also wanna say big hug to the lovely cupcake and your dh - really sorry about the redundancy & hope that one door closes & another opens.. Know how awful it is, been at risk of redundancy for 2yrs now as outsourcing my area to Poland(!!),could keep current job but relocate to west end & dont wanna with ttc/mc so will stay here but face redundancy next July now. Its a very scary, unnerving time & the anxiety is so overwhelming sometimes, what with all this ttc/mc crap Iv worried about my sanity lately! Just want you to know you're not alone, and that as you very kindly said to me on on tues, this could be a new chapter for you... xxxxxxxxx

last night without the distraction company of mn i decided to do some housework...on emptying the washing machine i was freaked out to find a life size eyeball...yes i admit i screamed on closer inspection prodding with the broom handle i found it belonged to my dogs toy brown dog!
