Moon welcome back so glad you are feeling strong enough to pull up an upturned plant-pot in the greenhouse.

4ever I feel bad you were left wanting in your hour of need . At least you have a supportive & understanding dh who always manages to put a smile on your face. Have a belated foot-rub from me.

Blue at your ds not napping today. I dread the day dd feels the need to go through the day without one - hopefully it won't be until she starts pre-school a year from now!

Jools your symptoms are giving me a little bubble of excitement in my chest. I always get loads of creamy cm/thrush type thing when I'm pregnant, in fact that was what gave me a suspicion this time around.

Mermaid (& those of you in Scotland) sorry to say this but it's been an absolute scorcher of a day here! I took dd to a public paddling pool & we pretended it was the height of Summer. Ahhhh well, the cloud & wind will be back again tomorrow I expect.

Iggy most impressed at your list. Remember sods law - keep ploughing through that list & you are sure to get your well deserved bfp.

GG are you ok? You seem to have vanished, hopefully its because you are spending time with your friend.

Fifi one day at a time. These first few weeks will be difficult but we are all here to hold your hands.

Neeko how is the stationery sniffing going?!

It seems like this is the time for sad anniversaries. The edd for my 1st lost angel is next Friday, thankfully I'm going to be busy driving up to Scotland so no time to dwell. Actually dh will probably be driving so plenty of time to dwell.

Right off to raid the ice cream drawer now!

Neeko · 08/09/2009 21:18

Hi

Welcome back Moon So glad you're back to join us. Hopefully Cupcake and Iggy are on the next bus.

4ever hope your day got better and you've re-scheduled that cancelled hair appointment. I know this week is hard, but know how much you're loved both on here and in RL and hopefully you'll find the strength.

Jools Sounds very hopeful. Have dug out the champagne grape juice and will put it on ice when you give the nod. Mucus was an early sign for me too.

Cupcake I sense you might be lurking in this time of stress. You're in my thoughts.

Blue How's your DS getting on at pre-school? My DD starts in January. I'll miss the 1st few weeks but after that i should get to take her - yay!

mermaid How's the job going? Is your boss a slavedriver or do you just threaten to remove benefits? Hope your DS is nicely settled back at school.

LBM Did you survive the 1st day or is your mascara all streaked.

MLS The rain is lashing against the window aand the wind is howling. of your sunshine day? Moi? Never! Here's my hand for Thursday though as moon says your bean doesn't need a scan.

gracie and Curly Haven't heard from you in a while. Hope all is well and bambinos are kicking lumps out of you

Annie work sounds hard but won't be long until you're sleep deprived for a very different reason. Hang in there.

Kate Hope the symptoms are easing you poor thing.

Barbie Hope you're doing ok. Great news o the hours.

Fifi a wedding? ooh exciting. We had a virtual hen-night for MrsKate before she got married and got up the duff. Hopefully it'll work for you too.

Buddha My friend suffered badly with SPD with her 2nd, 3rd and 4th and was on crutches and pankillers with all 3. It must be really uncomfortable. She was induced at 37 weeks each time at her insistance. Mind you she did her teacher training whilst pg with DC4 and finished 3 days before she gave birth so she's clearly some kind of superwoman. Her kids are well-behaved and polite too. In fact if she weren't my friend i might hate her!

Vjayinthebabybubble Hope all is going well. Give the top of Alex's head a sniff for me - it's the best smell in the world!

Sabs and Lion nearly there. Any twinges yet?

Big waves to everyone else I've missed.

BlueMoon1981 · 08/09/2009 21:21

how are you doing?

its nice to be back i knew i would be i just had to have some time on my own, i took a week off work and just had 'me' time to sort my much muddled head out. feel a bit more in a better place now, but realise i still need you lovely ladies to keep my strength up, especially with edd1 coming up.

BlueMoon1981 · 08/09/2009 21:22

cross post neeko hope you are doing ok too

Neeko · 08/09/2009 21:26

I'm doing ok moon. I'm in that lovely place between meltdowns and I'm hoping to rest here a while. My hand is here whenever you need it

littlebellsmum · 08/09/2009 23:10

Evening ladies - just quick catch up.
Blue - yes the reeboks are a cheap and more stylish version of the ones you were looking at!
4ever - hope you have enjoyed the bottles of wine
alllovelyladies!! - leaking mascara for tomorrow I think but I have dyed lashes so this helps. Also DS is so, so excited that it's hard to be sad but the bottom lip is definetly a quiver - that's both my DC's at school and I don't know where the last 5 years have gone....

littlebellsmum · 08/09/2009 23:11

Jools Have you checked out the " What to do on your 40th thread "recently. There is a lovely story from Loobs that I think you might like?

mermaidspurse · 09/09/2009 10:34

early elevensys hope everyone is ok

bluethebrave brill to see you in a good place.

4ever hope uoihad a lovely afternoon with dh and thanks for sending the sunshine down to us

barbie ? iI always worry a little when you don't pop in with a silly link, hope you are ok, especially your teeth.x

hopingalways · 09/09/2009 12:33

just passing through ladies with good news!

saw the specialist yesterday and his verdict was

we will definitely have a baby if we keep trying!

I'm being tested for sticky blood (a bit pointlessly, as my specialist has decided to treat me for it anyway ) and DH adn I are both being tested for chromosome problems.

...and...5-6(?) DPO I have strange cramping, creamy CM coming out of my ears (metaphorically ), attacks of dizziness and nausea...but even if this is just a reaction to stress of Dr exposure I'm finally happy to just wait and see when, repeat, when our baby is going to join us, even if we do have to have a few more MCs first

belated but here's my hand 4ever

MummyLovesSadie · 09/09/2009 12:43

Hoping eek - that's another squeak of excitement for you too! As I said yesterday, one of my earliest symptoms is always an abundance of creamy cm. Are you taking low dose aspirin?

Jools was thinking about you this morning & was going to ask if you too were taking aspirin & 2 brazil nuts a day - just in case.

to Mermaid, glad the rain has gone away & you have sun.

Joolsiam · 09/09/2009 13:13

What do you reckon guys ?

I'm away for work - forgot my folic acid but thought missing last night's one wouldn't hurt and I'd take one when I get home today. Now I've been asked to stay up another night. Because I didn't want to tempt fate, I deliberately didn't take baby aspirin or folic acid with me. I don't have a car, so would have to get a taxi to the local Tescos and then on to the hotel later - worth it ?

Not sure on symptoms today - no CM at all. Boobs feel fuller and heavier but are only vaguely sore. I think areola have darkened, but can't be sure. Hair is still coming out in the shower and my abdomen feels - well a little strange, but it might just be my imagination 9DPO today.

Sorry to dash in and out, but I am mega mega busy at work. Back later - the hotel I'm in tonight should have internet connection so I can get room service and catch up

Hoping - your symptoms sound hopeful. At 3DPO, I had loads of creamy white CM - quite unusual. Since then, mostly dry. I will race you to the next BFP

Neeko · 09/09/2009 13:33

Hi
Quick lurk and post

Hoping great news. Really wishing your symptoms mean something, but if not, at least you have "hope" (pardon the pun)

Jools I'd go to Tescos. when if you get your BFP this month you'll be worried enough so there's no point in adding to it. Either way you'll need the tablets for the forseeable future. Can't wait til Monday, I'm feeling a bit contorted from all the things I've got crossed!

Hang in there all you weebles x

MummyLovesSadie · 09/09/2009 13:52

Jools I'm with Neeko on this one. For some reason I'd be more worried about not having baby aspirin though. I was 4 hours later than usual taking it today & had a minor panic attack - picturing my little bean not being able to feed as a massive clot was blocking the way!

Look at it this way, you can always buy a pair of knickers while you are there as you are bound to have only packed one pair!

mermaidspurse · 09/09/2009 14:17

somehow I don't think jools is the kind of lady to only carry one pair of knickers
yep I agree with the above get thee to Tescos

hoping that is such good news re the specialist. pmsl at your dh though ohh I mean i hope he is ok - my dh still had his eyes tightly shut a good 30 seconds after the nurse had taken the needle out and went distinctly green so he is not alone.
love to allxx

Joolsiam · 09/09/2009 14:32

hehe yes !! I packed a spare pair and a clean top, and found another spare pair in my laptop bag ! (left over from my mc emergency pack from April )

mermaidspurse · 09/09/2009 14:36

love you jools am watching your sympton spotting with interest by the way. Everything crossed here.xx

talking of unexpected knickers have you ever found a pair up your trouser leg from the day before whilst walking down the road - please tell me it is not only me who has ever done this

4everhopeful · 09/09/2009 14:45

Just a quickie - bouncing back from yesterday a'la weeble styleeeeee....

Jools get down to tesco for peace of mind if nowt else...

Hoping great news hon Sounds like their on the case at your hosp, a PLAN is a neccesity, it gives you some control back doesnt it? Your poor DH tho! Im the queasy one & nearly break DHs poor fingers at our variety of tests while he watches!

Mermaidthelovely glad you got some of that sun - was blazing yesterday - good remedy it was.. Had my wine, DH home early, lit my candle & breathed a sigh of relief when I went to sleep that the day was done..

Neeko thanks to you sweetie - hairdressers re-scheduled for fri & I baked in my garden instead!

Much love to Bluesatin too for being your usual sweet self!

Bluemoon so glad you are back honey - here is my hand for tomorrow. It is important to remember your LLO.. Will be here if you need it xx

MLS good luck for tomorrow tho bean dont need the scan remember..

Where is Gracie? Had a tx yest from the lovely lady but missing her on here.. Curlys gone wondering too, along with Barbie...

Gots to go...

4everhopeful · 09/09/2009 14:49

[sp] wandering even...

....and yep, mermaid you're not alone, tho not sure if actually while walking on the street!!!

hopingalways · 09/09/2009 14:55

ps on the baby aspirin front my specialist said do not take it until you get a BFP - it can make it harder for the little bean to implant! They trailed it on IVF patients and found lower success rates amongst those who took it before a BFP.

still got mine lined up for when that next BFP comes!

barbiebigpants · 09/09/2009 15:08

Im not missing...im here!!!!!

Sorry ive been awol...bloody computer decided to play games and not work for about 24 hours which is like forever to me

Right weeble, firstly im sooooo sorry i wasnt there in your hour of need, usually im always around, but sadly not this time i was so sad for you when i read your post...anyhoo's seems like you are over the worse and more upright today

I have spoken to gracie via fb and she is busy with friend sorting out funeral and other such matters she is fine in all other aspects and im sure she will return soon enough.

As for curly no idea where this bigpanter might be lurking...prehapes she is busy hiding all the baby purchases from dh??

jools you are so prepared for everything! even when i know im going somewhere for two weeks ill still forget pants or socks! Many a times i have had to pop to the local asda to get some pants until i make it to the local town...now my mum always buys a few pairs for me in case Loving the non symtom spotting!

mermaid you know me, blonde as can be...i have done the knicker thing...only once it was the doctors and i had to have a internal check, took knickers of and couldnt work out why i had two pairs on the chair when i went to put them back on....guess one was in my jeans!
Another time i was wearing a dress to work and walking through the streets i felt a ping, and one side of the pants snapped! try walking along a high street calmly when you know any minute they wil be around your ankles! Worst still try explaining to the boss who is a guy why you are late, having had to wait until la senza opened to buy a new pair!!!!

Whoops internet still dodgy so ill send this first and get back to the rest of you xxxx

OP posts:
4everhopeful · 09/09/2009 15:57

to barbiebigpants Glad you're not wondering about wandering! No worries sweetie, I got through the other side - had a weeny weep when I dug out scan piccie, but glad I have it... Im staying true to my nametag!

Hmmm interesting what you say hoping... Had no causes found from my test but NHS consultant put me on progestorone supps & aspirin in last pg in jan, when I mc'd again I asked do i keep taking & he said no reason why not, as did my portland consultant, and my gp? Also with my horrid clotty AF they thought might help too, as mls, have had worried thoughts that implantation might not happen cos of giant clots! Might dig out my ltrs & do a spot of googling! Either way Im not taking it daily, im good with the folic acid as is pro natal multi vit too, but the aspirin must admit is a bit sporadic..

Joolsiam · 09/09/2009 19:46

Right, have just staggered into my hotel suite room(well it has a tiny sitting room) and collapsed onto the sofa and logged on for a catch up but there is nobody in !!

Am exhausted - bone weary to the core and will be in bed before 9pm I think. Boobs are aching and I had to stuff a couple of biscuits down my neck as I was feeling dizzy and nauseous

Just going to order room service, then have a warm relaxing bath (sunken bath )

Interesting about the aspirin - I will hold of until I get that BFP then

Neeko · 09/09/2009 19:48

Hi. I spoke to Cupcake via text earlier. Her DH was made redundant today so she's feeling pretty low. She hasn't heard about her own job yet and her temp is still high. She's planning to test on FRiday if AF doesn't get her 1st. Please all send lovely thoughts her way. Can't harm in the quest towards a BFP.

4ever it's really confusing about the asprin. I'm self-medicating but not entirely comfortable about it. I started after ovulation and plan to stop when I finish this pack (should be about 15 weeks) but would be really interested in your research.

MLS everything crossed for tomorrow. My pupils can do what they like about 2.30 cops I'll be mentally in the scan room with you.

Hi to everyone else. I'm a football widow again tonigh and so far they aren't losing!!
