Hello lovelies, i havent deserted you, have been lurking occasionally over last couple of weeks but no time to post properly, so massive apologies. Im so tired when i get in from work now, its shower, jamas on, tea then bed, im not sleeping well during the night, so i figure the earlier i get to bed the better. I just feel we are running out of time to get things sorted for this little one, honestly dont know where the time has gone, im 32 weeks on Tuesday.

Even though havent posted, have been thinking of you all, so congratulations on good scan results, glad everything good with you 4ever my lovely.
So happy to hear about sabs news, a girl!

Hope our lovely commando and small pants wearers are well, sending hugs where needed.
Much love to our medium and large pants wearers.

CurlyBigPants · 02/10/2009 14:35

Lovely to see you back annie 32 weeks is wonderful, not long to go. Make sure you are getting lots of rest and don't worry about MN, more important that everything is ready for that lovely little one who will be here very soon

kate I'm only kidding, stay in those little pants for a wee while till your bursting out of them I'll be thinking about you tomorrow on your edd. I know it's weird to feel so blessed and sad at the same time. We conceived this little one on my last edd and I somehow feel that it was meant to be. Rub your belly lots and tell your new lo how she (yes I reckons yours is a girl ) is loved all the more because of your loss xxx Fantastic news on the nuchal scan missus and lovely to hear about proud dh. Things have come a long way since three months ago for you both

baking great news for your friend, and it's nice she was sensitive about it. It will be your turn soon

barbie i'm really pleased your placenta has moved. Hopefully mine will move by 34 weeks though my fango is secretly liking the idea of a c-section Hope you and your mum have a fab weekend together

Yay for all the symptoms 4ever. I welled up a bit when I read about your dream. I had a similar one a few months ago and I took it as a sign that this time even my subconscious felt that it was going to be different We haven't bought anything for the baby yet but I might when I'm in the states cos I love shopping. I spoke to the consultant today and he's fine with me flying so long as I find out where the local a&e is when I get there and take it easy. And no shagging for me for the next three months at least To be honest we are so overcautious after the MCs that we've not done it since we conceived the little one Make sure you rest well today and keep those feet up honey xxxx

Big waves to anyone lurking today and happy friday

CurlyBigPants · 02/10/2009 14:51

Update by text from the lovely sabs. She moved to a postnatal ward finally and had to have a blood transfusion last night due to loss of blood. She has named her little one Saara and apparently she looks like her rather than DH Hopefully she'll be discharged tomorrow but is just trying to get her strength back for now. A bit anxious as she hasn't been able to start breast-feeding yet but she's going to try again when she recovers a bit Gosh, what a start for the poor love, though Saara sounds just gorgeous

We're thinking of you honey. Can't wait to see the photos of wee Saara xxx

anniebigpants · 02/10/2009 15:05

Sending much love to Sabs, hope she is recovering well

Curly-So pleased on news that you having a girl, how lovely.

GracieGirl · 02/10/2009 16:01

Hello!

Curly beat me on Sabs text but I'll write it in anyway!

"Could you post an update on MN. Moved from delivery suite to post natal ward last night. Had to have a blood transfusion last night due to loss of 3 litres of blood when having C-section. Post natal ward is crap. Have paid 70 quid for a side room. Hoping to be discharged tomorrow. Have named her Saara after my Nan. She looks like me and my niece and nothing like DH! Unable to breast feed yet which I'm quite upset about but hoping to try again once I recover my strength. Missing you all and hope everyone one Mumsnet is well! x "

What a lovely name!

I bought a Red Herring maternity dress on Ebay for £7 yesterday, hoping to wear it for a wedding when I'm 30 weeks. Its just arrived and its actually really nice, I'm impressed! Its a bit big yet but you never know it might do the trick by 30 weeks!

CurlyBigPants · 02/10/2009 16:41

Waves to annie

I like the sound of the dress gracie. I've just ordered some stuff from I cannot remember where (pregnancy brain ) but I got a 15% MN discount!!!

cupcakefairy · 02/10/2009 17:31

Evening lovely girls my, lots of catching up to do!

Thanks for the reassurance about my pains everyone. Midwife is coming round tomorrow (been frantically cleaning and hoovering to dh's confusion- he keeps saying 'she isn't a social worker y'know' - men!) so will ask her about it, and ask for a scan. I wouldn't want to get one til after 8 weeks anyway as that was when we found out before and the waiting between 6, 7 & 8 weeks scans was horrendous.

Sabs massive congratulations, can't wait to see pics of lovely little Saara, beautiful name sounds like you've had a rough time of it but sure you are being well taken care of by your family.

4ever thanks for thinking of me hun but I am all the way over in sheep-land Wales with no walk-in clinics and lovely sonographers! Your story was lovely, so glad everyone is being so reassuring.

Barbie lush scan pics! And yay to believing you ARE having a baby

hi annie glad you are still around.

Neeko thanks for the update on MLS she is so flipping amazing, her strength always astounds me. Tell her we are thinking of her loads.

baking lovely news about your friend, another hope-giving story, and fingers massively crossed for you this month!

I emailed hoping about a week ago to check she was ok and invited her for a coffee or movie (we literally live about 5 mins from each other!) but haven't had a response worried about her. Gonna email her again so she knows we haven't forgotten her.

CurlyBigPants · 02/10/2009 18:47

hello cupcake hope you get a nice midwife it makes all the difference I can totally understand why you would want to wait till after 8 weeks, I think we all have our critical times that we need to get past before we can start breathing (a little) again.

Hope hoping is just busy and is doing okay. Give her my love if you see her xxx

I've been playing "This is the first day of my life" by Bright Eyes and the little one suddenly started kicking like mad. It has me blubbing like a mad thing I'm still so scared it will all go wrong but moments like this help to make up for all those horrible months of grieving and waiting and feeling like it would never happen. I can't wait till every single one of us is pregnant and turns into this same hormonal mess that I seem to be today. I really hope that doesn't upset anyone still waiting - I haven't forgotten how hard it is - but it's just sometimes I can't believe that I am actually pregnant

Big hugs to anyone who needs one and lots of baby dust all round xxx

GracieGirl · 02/10/2009 21:52

Another text from Sabs

"She's so beautiful and I can't stop staring at her x "

Call be hormonal but that had me blubbing!

mermaidspurse · 03/10/2009 10:16

morning everyone so ace to hear that sabs and saara are counting fingers toes and smiles and wishing you a very speedy recovery brave lady thank goodness there is lots of help waiting at home xxx

great news on results kate cupcake hope midwife visit goes ok

4ever fab that you are so looked after

A little short have a headache after a 50th party last night - I think hoping is fine, just trying to embrace rl and busy.

Have a lovely weekend one of the better perks of motherhood I find

bluesatinsash · 03/10/2009 11:09

I'm just up . DH and DS let me lie in and are at footie class just now - bliss!

I can just picture Sabs staring at Saara (beautiful name) and curling and uncurling her tiny fingers, precious moments to be savoured forever .

4ever - so lovely to read your post and how well you are being taken care of. I'm off to church tomorrow so will send a big thank you prayer upstairs and ask him/her to look over you and your lo . I firmly believe being seen/sanned regularly can have a positive effect as you feel 'looked after' which calms you down and sends the right hormones swirling around.

cupcake - hope your midwife gives you a big hand squeeze. Had to at your DH's comment about it not being a visit from the social worker . Us Mum's to be are very house proud!

Curly - had lump in my throat reading about you feeling your DD kick and finally starting to believe you will hold her inyour arms one day soon - just lovely.

mermaid - yes lazing about eating bacon rolls and watching kids TV goes down in this house too at the weekend .

Hey Annie - you next!!! Not long 'til your on mat leave - yay!

Kate - hope today goes OK, remember and stroke your tummy and remember how far you've come x

to everyone else xx

cupcakefairy · 03/10/2009 11:56

Thinking of you Kate on your edd...also meant to say yesterday so lovely your dh has the scan pic on his fb, cos I remember you saying he wouldn't get excited about anything til 12 weeks.

Aww blue seeing you refer to babyCurly as her dd just made me a bit emotional, how lovely

Midwife was v nice but once again a firm no to an early scan she's booked me in for the 12wk scan on 30th and dh thinks I should just leave it as 'that's not too long to wait' might just call my epu myself and see what they say

Dh and I are off to see Toy Story redone in 3d at the cinema today, hehe, we're such kids!

VJay · 03/10/2009 15:00

Hello
I've just been lurking, making sure you are all ok

sabs such a beautiful name

Back to lurking

MrsKate · 03/10/2009 16:58

hi all ive had a great day gracie is the bestest friend anyone could ever have we went maternity clothes shopping and i did mark the occasion by buying a baby blanket for boris the bean lol . felt so werid but lovely at the same time

Neeko · 03/10/2009 18:12

Hi. Really just lurking but wanted to send MrsKate a hug for today.

I'm having a very relaxing weekend as the doctor 4ever ordered. Hope you're all ok too.

MLS had a scan the other day and apparently saw 4 follicles about to pop so fingers crossed she'll be back in medium pants soon. The consultant also said there's no reason why she can't try again immediately BTW I have her permission to keep you all updated. She's not lurking ATM but plans to be back some time in the future and I'm giving her news bulletins from here too. That should keep me busy

DH comming back in 5 with a Chinese takeaway and a DVD. Hoping for a foot massage too. Catch up later. Hugs and baby dust to all who need them x

cupcakefairy · 03/10/2009 22:54

Ah Neeko enjoy a well-deserved chinese! We had one last night and it was lush; I ate about 3 times more than dh

barbie1 · 04/10/2009 10:08

Hello ladies...at work so thought id do a sneaky little post

Just back from doctors for 20 week check, everything ok and even met the midwife today, who is only slightly older than me, english and lovely.....

I have put of 4 kg since last visit but still under what i could of put on so its ok... although my work shirt do unbutton right to my belly button as i was walking around unaware in waitrose thankfully i had a vest on all be in very very low due to not covering my massive
(.)(.) boobies!!!!

Dh still away for another 2 weeks and i must admit the early dog walks are starting to tire me out now....

On the plus side im feeling the baby move every day, especially as im lying peacefully in the bath...happy days

I will get around to personal messages again come tues

Sending you all a big hug and hope you are all ok xxxx

anniebigpants · 04/10/2009 16:36

Hope you all having nice weekend. I was on a dental course all day yesterday then out on a hen night last night in fancy dress, i was Snow White-lol! We went to a comedy club in Newcastle and had a great time, eveyone went off clubbing and i came home, it was way past my bedtime!
Im about to have a nice soak in the bath, well would be nice by myself but have a feeling DS will want to come in with me, off to see the Ladyboys tonight, they are great, seen them 3 times now.

Barbie-You do make me laugh! Glad you feeling baby move all the time now, its a lovely feeling.

Neeko-Hope you enjoyed your chinese, i love chinese but for some reason i cant eat it when im pregnant, makes me feel really sick, was the same when i was pregnant with DS.

Cupcake-Might be worth paying for private scan at 9 weeks if you cant/dont want to wait until your 12 week scan. I was in the same boat as you, they wouldnt give me a reassurance scan so i paid £100 for a private scan at 9 weeks.

MrsKate-Thinking of you yesterday on the EDD of your lost angel.

Big waves to blueGraciemermaidmoonLB&BakingQueen* and anyone else ive inadvertently missed.

anniebigpants · 04/10/2009 16:38

Sending love to 4ever Vjay Sabs lion also.

CurlyBigPants · 04/10/2009 21:26

Hmmm... very quiet today
Hope your head is feeling better after yesterday mermaid I'm tucked up on the couch watching x-factor, liking the idea of one of blues bacon sarnies too I also welled up a bit at your mention of dd blue cupcake sorry she wouldn't give you an early scan honey. I know it seems like it is crawling right now but honestly after week 8 / 9 it does speed up a bit. If you can't persuade the EPU then we'll just have to find ways to distract you till then

Neeko it's lovely to see ya and thanks for the update on MLS please pass on our love. Yay for 4 follicles It's great that you are taking it easy girl. How far gone are you now?

Waves to mommy vjay. How are you finding it young alex. I know lurking is probably all you have time for right now but it would be lovely to hear how you are getting on

kate I'm so glad to hear that the lovely gracie has helped you through yesterday. It sounds like a lovely day, and I love the name for the bean

lol at your flashing tendencies barbie, hope the next two week fly by until dh gets home

annie how long to go?!! You have put me to shame going out clubbing (and dressing up). I've turned into a lump

Has anyone seen Jools this weekend. I reckon we should start making plans for her virtual birthday. I'll bring champagne Like the idea of fancy dress too!!!

big waves to everyone and especially our new mums

And lots of love to moon and hoping hope you are both doing okay xxx

SabsBigPants · 04/10/2009 23:27

Just a very quick post to say hello to all and thanks so much for all the lovely messages. I got home (to my mums) after even more hospital drama (more about that another time!) yesterday evening.

Saara is amazing, I cannot believe she's mine! I have a pic on facebook for those that are on there.

Promise to post a much better, less selfish post soon

mermaidspurse · 05/10/2009 08:00

welcome to the world saara
sabs melt so glad you are home with mum to look after you both. It sounds as though you went through the wringer but with such a lovely ending all the horrible bits will slowly fade. Rest heaps and no lifting anything cos of your stitches.xxx

iggypiggy · 05/10/2009 11:52

sabs that is a beatiful name so pleased you home now.

barbie your scan pics are fab!

Is v. quiet here isn't it...

now I know I am commando - but I am still vaguely aware of dates and to be honest I know I am not PG this month... I have no symptoms at all is so frustrating... I know we BD'd lots and there was always a chance - but seems like I am a bit broken... am not even sure how long I would need to go before going to see GP - am guessing at least a year from the MC as am under 35?

Anyway - hope you all had lovely weekends etc. I know I did as it was our first anniversary.

Big waves to all the weebles xx

barbie1 · 05/10/2009 12:04

iggy yes it very quiet isnt it
Congats on your anniversary

The doctor told me to go back after 6 months if nothing had happened so im guessing it might be worth making an appt????

you are not broken, mearly needing a little bit of tlc to become complete again....

iggypiggy · 05/10/2009 12:08

Yay barbie is here to keep me company
