MLS is coping, but won't be back on here (hopefully just for a while) I've to pass on big events to her and she is thinking of you all but the day-to-day ups and downs of the thread are understandably too much for now. Think she's planning on launching straight back into battle though so fingers crossed for a BFP before 2009 is up.

Jools Nice to hear you being a bit more chilled on the TTC front and lovely that you can get rip-roaringly drunk on your 40th.

Extra thanks to the ever sweet mermaid for checking in on me during a very wobbly start to the day... xxx I didnt sleep well, after being super positive I wobbled big time cos had the teeniest red spots this morning when I wiped, phoned my lovely EPU at 6.45am & left message to call me, but went straight back to anxiety ridden state of all prev pregs anyway after my lovely sonographer who's now like a personal friend called me back & reassured that they would scan today if I wanted but too early to see much & quite likely to be fine I calmed a bit & went back to PMA, I figured could be urine infection or as such teeny amount, more likely to be from excessive wiping where peeing every hour & prob a bit sore, so more external than internal, still all bravado gone & felt like a vulnerable liitle girl suddenly.. Didnt tell DH cos didnt want to worry him but we met at hosp for recurrent mc clinic at 2pm & fessed up, but by that point i was dismissing it to reassure him as well as me!
Anyway we met up with our RMC doc who was great, congratulating us & actually studied the immunotherapy treatment we had at the portland as his phd(!) he said on with the aspirin & back to the progestorone pessaries twice a day, no caffiene, no sex til 12wks & no temperature or take paracetamol, no strenuous activity & have as many scans as I want cos they really believe in the reassurance aspect being benificial. See him again in 4wks so it was all good Saw the nurse beforhand & did wee test in case of infection that came back clear, asked him about the spotting & as well, its very normal & only worry if lots (none since). As Cupcake Iv had a ton of twinges & pains, again as we know, very normal, but had none for the last 24 hrs or so & then worry why cant feel it! No pleasing us is there?! To finish off a v positive visit walked past the EPU on way out & saw our lovely sonographer & her boss to whoops of delight, hugs & kisses for me & DH & loads more reassurance. Im so blessed we have her, she has scanned every preg, I call her & get apts even tho its walk in so we dont wait around & she arranges follow ups as often as I like, when I called & told her the news last week to arrange scan for 12th she was screeching down the phone that she'd been waiting for my call for months & couldnt wait to see me & my lovely DH again. In past weve given her thank you cards & prezzie & seriously said she should be godmother whenever our LO arrives! Im so lucky to have such a great hospital on my doorstep & will not hear a bad word about the NHS! 3 cheers for Mrskate & Gracie! Cupcake if you are struggling getting a scan come to St Georges, its a wlk in clinic mon-sat, if you want more details just shout! xx

Anyway sorry for the ramble, its been quite a day. GP tomorrow to get signed off for as long as poss & then glueing myself to sofa for next 9 days (& PC obviously!)

Hope all our medium pants ladies are doing well. I'm so happy that the treatment went well 4ever and that you are getting signed off for a few weeks, and that the NHS are looking after you so well. This time it is going to work out, keep believing it and looking after that little one. I did find time at home crawled though so make sure you distract yourself with some non-googling activity (naughty curly has learned her lesson about googling )

iggy glad you are feeling better, I'm often the same around ovulation, which is not exactly great for getting you on form to perform I've a really strong feeling that we'll be getting good news from you soon honey I hope it is before your edd, but I'm sure it will be soon

Love the happy upbeat vibe on the thread so much good news and it much deserved after the traumas all you lovely ladies have been through. Had some good news yesterday a friend of mine told me she is 12 weeks pregnant so pleased for her she has had x2 mcs in the past. She said she was scared of telling me in case she upset me, bless her x

I cant begin to tell you all how much i have missed you over the last week or so...it feels like ive been in solidary confindment Ive been spending as much time with mum as possible and will be back posting as normal on tues

We couldnt find the scan place and i was getting all panicky that i would miss my appt, in the end we ditched the car, which i scraped the front of in my haste to park (thankfully it was dh and not mine ) and ended up running across healthcare city which is huge..only to find we had in fact driven past the building loads of times....doh

It was so weird, the room had a huge flat screen tv in which you could watch everything, of course i had my eyes closed for the first few minutes and my breathe held until i nearly passed out!

4ever the scan was across between a normal scan, a doppler scan and 3/ 4d...depending on where he was looking. 4D is sooooo strange, he could even see inside the brain! i have been given a dvd of the scan and you can see everything in detail. Shame i cant upload it.
Im so happy that you have someone looking out for you, you seem to be in safe hands. Im sure the bleed you had is nothing, remember i had loads in the first few weeks....i also cut myself when shaving down there few weeks ago and didnt realise until i saw the blood in my knickers! Im sure its just from over checking down there if you know what i mean. I have everything crossed for you that everything works out well

curly my placenta has moved now....but i asked my doctor about you! she said that she wouldnt advise any flying unless you really have too, the reason being if anything happened you would worry the whole flight and there isnt always someone on board to help you. Nothing to do with your placenta! Do what you feel you must but step away from google!

I thought the pic looked 3/4D Barbie - must of been so magical! How long til DH back now? My mums gone to stay with my sis in worcs for 2wks & feel anxious about that even so kno it must be wierd for you - did you let mum buy some more baby stuff yesterday?! Lovely long post Curly! Knitting huh? What you making? Is it baby related? Big head? make sure you do the perineal massage then! Iv learnt my lesson in googling & honestly feel Iv googled all I possibly can anyway! MN only for me & lots of crap telly & catching up with sky+! Bakingqueen good news about your friend & your healthy reaction to it! Im excited for you this month for some reason!!

Im extra tired today, having very wierd vivid dreams (Yea to symptoms! ) Also as did food shop yest with DH nausea kicked in big style (double yea to more symptoms! ). Im staying positive & have weekly preg calender that I used to sneakily peek at but when DH gets home at 1pm today will put in our recently decorated 'back room' We did room in easter, all neutral & adaptable for whatever, wouldnt get anything til week 39 tho I dont think! I did dream a few nights ago I had baby (& it spoke to me at a few days old ) but didnt have anything for it so rushed out buying steralisers & carseat!! Am debating telling 'bf's Feel quite let down by lack of sensitivity as mentioned, but on other hand dont want to hold onto bitterness or negativity for baby sake as truly believe I must be as calm, positive & cheery as poss for good outcome - dilemma?! xxx
