Morning everyone

I've now come to the realisation that I either have cancer of the womb or I'm pregnant .

Last night I actually managed to convince myself for about 40 minutes that I was neither, though I still sat on the couch with DH, with my hands on my tummy.

Last night DH and I were supposed to be having sex, but he said he was too tired - even though he got an erection (sorry TMI). So we never did it. I mean SERIOUSLY how the hell does he think babies are conceived . All I got out of him last night and this morning was apology after apology and "my fishies stay around for 5 days don't they".

I couldn't sleep last night, well I did but it took me a good 2 hours to get to that point. Thinking over and over, what if I have already ovulated and we've missed another chance, what if tomorrow is too late. We're trying for a baby, but we've only had sex twice since starting last Saturday.

Anyway...

MrsRigby · 12/08/2009 10:44

DS is sucking on the packet of Pregnacare tablets, I won't take them away from him as he'll scream the house down and I have a headache - besides he's now accepting mashed food with lumps in and the vitamins can only do him good.

Oh wait no, he's now fiddling about with DH new blu-ray DVD player. We got the black one (I'm not being racist, I just wanted it to match the TV which is black and also a Samsung). It's the one that has the flip down thing that covers the buttons. We thought brilliant, this is for us, this will stop DS playing with the buttons. Only DS isn't bothered about the buttons, DS loves the flap and the flap on the Sky+ box covering the card.

Can we all please take a minute of silence for the DVD player and the Sky+ box.

Okay, he's now on to the metformin tablets (for any PCOS women, I'm on 850mg bd). On a happy note he's now relinqished the pregnacare tablets. Just goes to show that DS didn't inherit my genes and that men are inept at doing 2 things at once.

Hi every one, I've just found this thread and would like to join if I may. I am resisting the temptation to test and am trying not to symptom spot too much.

Welcome Sweetpeasmum

Your in the wrong thread if you don't want to symptom spot, oh hang on no that's me .

Good luck.

MrsRigby · 12/08/2009 13:36

DS is napping again - yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee (please if there is any god let it be 2 hours).

Elliemama · 12/08/2009 14:59

Mrs Rigby we liked the name Miles too. Although I'm not 100% sure... My DH loves it! One of our friends says its too middleclass tho??!!

MrsRigby · 12/08/2009 15:38

Too middleclass, I agree and that's exactly why I want it.

I don't mind admitting I'm a snob and an eletist. Even if I can't spell the latter one right .

Miles P. H. Rigby, ah don't you just think lawyer or doctor.

When DS#2 is born, I'll go register his name without DH knowing. That way he'll be called Miles and there will be nothing DH can do about it .

MrsRigby · 12/08/2009 15:39

In case your wondering what the P H stands for, they will be Miles' middle names.

Elliemama · 12/08/2009 16:15

Lucky boy!! What is DS 1 called?

MrsRigby · 12/08/2009 17:02

James Bernard Rigby

LeeWT · 12/08/2009 19:24

Mrs R we only bd'd twice around my ov date and we got pregnant, only takes once as they say!

good luck to anyone due to test in next wee while :-)

Loujalou · 12/08/2009 20:26

My friend only BD once and it did the trick. Think my af is definitely on way now. Though only a small amount of blood (TMI). Sorry.

Am I being totally deluded by thinking it could be implantation (14 dpo). Think I am deluded.

MrsRigby · 12/08/2009 21:19

I think that sounds positive Loujalou my fingers are crossed for you and for everyone else.

I'm off to bed now as DH want's an early night. I don't know why as he only lasts 3 minutes, though for me it does seem that much more longer .

Might take the laptop up with me, it'll give me something to do to take my mind off what I'm doing.

Next time I might just have IVF, not as traumatic, he can just put it in a cup and the doctors and impregnate me .

Congratulations to all graduates tho and goodluck for those still waiting.

Beanmum · 13/08/2009 13:42

Just having another miscarriage, so updating list and taking my name off.

Elliemama · 13/08/2009 14:24

Beanmum and Rainbowdays sorry to hear your bad news too guys... lets hope we all have better luck next time! XX

macana · 13/08/2009 15:53

elliemama so sorry, I didn't even think you could get false positives!!!

I'm almost resigning myself to the May bus....pretty sure AF is on her bloody way. Really tried not to test this month, but am a complete masochist, so did it anyway, and one three tests later feel more sorry for myself for being so stupid as well as not pregnant!!

macana · 13/08/2009 16:45

OH MY GOD!!!! Ignore previous post....just did a better pg test (glutton for punishment!) and....BFP!!! Well, not such a FP as a faint line, but even so.....AF due tomorrow, so probably low levels.

I am in total shock. And trying not to get overexcited, especially as DH not home for about 2 hours and so I can't tell anyone (except you lovely ladies). Will retest in the am, but a line's a line...right???

MrsRigby · 13/08/2009 17:57

Many congratulations macana . Doesn't matter how faint a line it is, it's a line, your going to be a mummy again.

You can add yourself to the graduates list now .

That's brilliant news, be as excited as you want. I'm so happy for you.

Beanmum · 13/08/2009 20:18

Congratulations macana

MrsRigby · 13/08/2009 21:48

Evening everyone, hope your all having a good one.

Elliemamma I don't want to seem insensitive, but are you sure AF has definately arrived for a visit. How the hell do you get several BFP's if your not pregnant? I know, I know, being a woman I should know this .

Beanmum I'm on the May bus also , I'll see you there .

Rainbowdays I can't put in words how sad I am that your going through a MC. Hope this will do .

Last night was just pointless. DH and I had an early night and BD. Very traumatic as it lasted far longer than I wanted - 14 minutes . It didn't help that he was on top (it's got to be said I'm very lazy) and almost broke my ribcage, all day today my ribs have been a bit sore. Anyway DS just didn't want to sleep last night and started screaming not long after we had finished BD. The result was DH trying to calm DS, whilst I ran downstairs to grab a bottle of milk and sperm dripping down my leg (way TMI - so sorry), so uttely pointless last night. Just as well I'm already pregnant .
