Half jokingly mentioned this to dp.

Went down like a lead ballon!

Ah well..was worth a shot.

Have caught very easily in the past so fingers crossed it won't take to long this time.

Need to keep reminding myself that this only second cycle of trying this time. Just feels like its taking so long cos of the stupid miscarriages!!

Must learn to keep at least a little bit of sanity about it all! X

Momdeguerre · 04/07/2009 23:37

He he - you would think all our DPs would leap at the chance of DTD every day!

When we were last TTC we DTD every day but I hasten to add we were on a 6 week honeymoon with not a care in the world trekking around New Zealand and Japan. Somehow real life gets in the way of my best intentions to DTD every day. Just o idea how we would find the time especially since we regularly work opposing shift patterns!

Ah well, not finding tww too bad so far. Will still be dissapointed if BFN but been so busy with work for the past couple of weeks that it has been a welcome distraction from my usual TTC obsession!!

From emotional to the foulest of moods here, was in a terrible one yesterday, DH said if I didn't stop being horrible to him he'd be horrible to me. Realising this could put a stop to BD practice for next month I bit my tongue. Really wanted to snap at him though and he hadn't done anything wrong. Was in a bad mood in work too so we put the world to rights there, always helps.

May try the everyday method next month if DH is up for it, we have some A/L coming up too so maybe there's a chance. If we've managed to finish the decorating by then they'll be an even bigger chance.

Have random abdo pains here too, was convinced I'd ovulated on day 8 as had left sided mid abdo pain, lots of CM and a 'show', but then had right sided abdo pain around day 19, and at moment lots of CM and it's CD 25. So no idea really.

Did read that apparently you're more fertile under the same moon you were born under, so I checked and I was born two days before a new moon so will looking out for that and DTD then! Grasping at straws really....

Hope everyone has a good day

shyla01 · 05/07/2009 11:00

maisie how did u find out what moon you were born under?
Dp seems to believe these random old wives tales more than anything scientific.
Wondered why fertility friend shows full moons on the calander!

Having new floor laid today so I'm going to keep out of there way and take myself shopping. Any excuse eh? X

maisieboo · 05/07/2009 19:50

I searched for lunar calendar for the year I was born on google, and then lunar calendar for this year.
Shopping sounds good, we're still DIYing here.

Momdeguerre · 06/07/2009 18:51

I looooove to shop! Drive my poor DH crazy with it! Just invested in a lovely maxi dress .

How is everyone?

I am still in the two week wait. Can't test till the weekend really but officially the 15th. Party is on Sunday so am at least very busy and the time is not dragging too badly. DS is also now a bit better and is looking like he will be well enough not to infect anyone at the party.

What has everyone else got planned? Anyone testing soon?

shyla01 · 06/07/2009 18:56

hello all. how are we all?

cd 19 and already symptom spotting! very very tired, sore boobs etc.

obviously just my imagination, but there is no point in trying to NOT symptom spot. so just going to completely obsess for next 12 days or so.

thankfully dp wasnt interested in the 'moon' theory. one less thing for us to try.

shopping was fab yesterday. got lots that hopefully wont fit for long

only thing was had to go for a nap when i got home as was knackered!

xx

shyla01 · 06/07/2009 19:00

not testing until at least 18th.....yea rite.

found a shop that does two testd for 99p.
not good
xx

KittensMittens · 06/07/2009 19:27

LOL Momdeguerre, I do the car sickness thing. I am in the 2 week waiting room too. I have sore nipples, obviously nothing to do with me constantly poking and proding them to feel if they are still sore (just did it now to check).

maisieboo · 06/07/2009 19:53

Found the hpt I hid last month yesterday, but will try and wait for AF first. Still no symptoms here so AF will most likely arrive next Mon/Tues. However, last month had every symptom under the sun and AF still paid me a visit, so perhaps this is better. Time is going quite quick though, having a new kitchen this week so lots to occupy my mind. DH has a lot of time off coming up so hoping to BD lots then. Hoping one month we'll get lucky. Still enjoying the sex, and when AF arrives will enjoy the wine again too (grin)

Glad your DS is feeling better Mom

Hi to everyone else

maisieboo · 06/07/2009 19:54

never manage to get the smiley faces to work!

Momdeguerre · 06/07/2009 20:24

Kittens - I do the boob thing - keep poking them to check. They were not sore but they are now!!!

Also attributing my terrible run time today as an early symptom.

Hope I am right.

thell · 08/07/2009 10:32

Ooh, new layout!
Nice. Just different enough to spook me out and make me take two seconds longer to find anything

Popping in to let you know I'm thinking of you all

Still waiting to start BDing here. Dh keeps asking 'is now a good time..?' when we go to bed! It all begins on Friday, then he won't know what's hit him!!

I took an Anatomy & Physiology exam on Monday, which went really well, and am all geared up to start the Holistic Massage Course in September. Looking forward to it - but if I get pregnant this month, I will be 7 months when the course ends in February The most ungainly masseuse ever! How will I reach people's backs?!

Shyla, which shop sells them for 99p?!

Maisieboo, you need the square brackets[]

shyla01 · 09/07/2009 15:40

Momdeguerre · 11/07/2009 05:44

Shyla - not long till testing for me either - I am CD25 and itching to take an early test but this month I am going to resist!!!!!!!!! Not long for you too - any symptoms?? I feel totally normal - not even a hint of a symptom! Boooooooooo!!

Hope the sunshine comes back too .

maisieboo · 12/07/2009 10:11

AF came on Thursday on CD 29, which is really early for me, so now I'm on CD 4. Had awful pmt moods and was disappointed so have been a nightmare to live with, but after some retail therapy am now ok and ready to start again this month. Hope you all get good news , will check in a few days to see how you get on.

Momdeguerre · 13/07/2009 10:16

Oh bum, sorry to hear AF has come. Hope you have been able to cheer up a bit with the shopping?

I am CD 28 - first response said BFN this morning so think I am out this month too. Bugger.

Ah well, don't think DH will mind another month of sex - think he might object when I tell him I plan to DTD every day for at least the two weeks around OV, he he!!

OP posts:
nunnie · 13/07/2009 11:21

I might join you if I can please. I am day 29 of a usual 25-29 day cycle. I was going to test friday if no show, but if other are testing thursday I think I will do it then.

I have lots of odd stuff going on not sure if they are symptoms or stomach bug

thell · 13/07/2009 11:22

My tentative plan to try every day for a week has sort of faltered - first day I was too tired, and CM didn't seem right anyway, so didn't bother - ok the next night, last night DH was in a bit of a strop, so it put me right off! He was ready to try, but I was not having it :-p

Popped in to see the Chinese doc round the corner this morning. He was just off on holiday! But said he couldn't leave me stranded, and gave me some remedies to get rid of my cold. He said if it hasn't gone in a week then it means my immune system is low and will need treating before any fertility issues.
I'm pretty excited - he's trained in Western and Chinese medicine, which includes Acupuncture. Fingers crossed!

CD16 today, expecting to ov day 19 or 20, so kicking up a gear with dtd tonight.
Temp shows I definitely haven't ov yet, so we'll see.

Sorry Maisie x x

If anyone lives in South East London, I might need your services as massage guinea pigs!
Any ideas for a business name? 'Holistic Hands' gets used all the time. And it mustn't be suggestive!

Momdeguerre · 13/07/2009 11:47

Hi Nunnie - welcome! What cycle is this for you? Tummy bug symptoms sound promising - I am CD 28 but not having any symptoms at all this month and had a BFN on a first response so am thinking that this is not my month. My own fault for early testing - good luck for Thurs - keep us updated!!

Thell - sounds like you are doing well this month - fingers crossed! I am East of England so will miss out on your massage. The chinese medicine sounds interesting - are you going to have some acupuncture?

Suggested names - Palm Therapy (?), Healing Hands ? I'm rubbish at thinking up names but will have a mull on it. . .

OP posts:
nunnie · 13/07/2009 11:51

Cycle 22 for me hun. Maybe you did test to early its not over till the witch shows her broom! I will keep you updated my end, and if nothing will test on thursday morning

Momdeguerre · 13/07/2009 14:58

Hope it was too early, I do every month! Fingers crossed AF does not get us!

OP posts:
lucygrif · 13/07/2009 15:02

hi ladies, not been on for aaaaaaaaages, too busy bonking!!
am on CD24 today, and dtd every day from day 5 to day 21 so I reckon DP will be really cross if it doesn't happen this time.
Off on holiday next week with DS and probably AF which I suppose is better than going around OV with DS around!!!
