Hurray!!
Well done Mom! About time too x x

I had AF just before holiday - but it's good because cycle length down to 32, so things improving all the time.
Hoping the Chinese Herbs are helping get my body back into balance so general health improving.
Once the effects of all the holiday cake and ice cream have worn off!

Momdeguerre · 10/08/2009 05:49

Thanks guys, DH is so delighted. I told him by putting our DS into a t shirt that said ' Worlds Coolest Big Brother'.

Took him a couple of minutes to notice it was a new t shirt and then he read it, burst into tears and since then he has not stopped smiling and hugging us. He is so cute for a big rough tough bobby!!

Still so early but hoping this little dot hangs in there.

thell - v glad your cycles are sorting out.

Shyla - how you doing?

Angel - how are you too?

Hope you guys don't mind if I stay on here - will try not to be too gushy but the hormones are already making me craaaaaaaaazy!! Butter advert had me in tears last night, gah!

xx

Momdeguerre · 13/08/2009 20:38

I'm pretty good - bit of insomnia and bit sicky first thing but otherwise pretty good.

I have also got my booking in appt next Tues - phoned up to ask how many weeks I needed to be to book in and receptionsit told me not to worry about it and booked me straight in - I will only be about 6 weeks and I am sure I had to wait till 8 weeks last time??

Just really hoping this little dot hangs in there. Find these first few weeks so nerve racking!

How you feeling?

Where is everyone else in their TTC journey?

thell · 31/08/2009 12:17

Back to the drawing board here - AF arrived yesterday.

shyla01 · 02/09/2009 07:20

sorry to hear that thell

i'm still waiting around for my erpc. the hospital is so shit. really getting angry now.

just want it all gone so i can get on with things.

mrsbeth · 08/09/2009 14:50

Hi, it's maisie with a different name, I thought a change would be good.

So sorry to hear your news Shyla, had so hoped this wouldn't happen. Hope the hospital gets a move on soon, it's not fair that they keep you waiting.

Thell, sorry to hear AF came along.

thell · 09/09/2009 21:55

Thanks MrsBeth - it was quite upsetting last month, for some reason, but I'm totally over it again
The interesting thing is my cycle has been a day shorter each month! Maybe heading for a nice round 28?
CD11 now, so Shag Week looms.
How are you getting on?

I still feel sad about Shyla's bad luck - how are you doing, my dear? I hope you've been to hospital and had no further complications [fingers crossed for you]

shyla01 · 10/09/2009 17:00

hello both

im doing ok. the hospital where atually very helpful in the end. once i managed to get the eprc done they did all of the blood tests needed for when i see my consultant. am a bit peed that i gave to wait until nov 5th to see him, but i cant reallt ttc before then anyway.

hope your both well. this ttc business is bloody hard isn't it?! i never realised how much i took it for granted when i was pg with my 2 dc.

and hope your doin ok mom if your still watching.

xx

thell · 10/09/2009 21:35

Good, I'm glad Shyla.

Yes, it's amazing how different your experiences can be from child to child. DD was conceived on a whim with no effort at all, so quite dumbfounded to have waited nearly 18 months this time! (I was going to say 'with not a sausage,' but that's not really appropriate under the circumstances !)

homebound · 10/09/2009 22:07

Can someone pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease tell me what CM means??!!

mrsbeth · 11/09/2009 19:28

Hi all,

glad the hospital were helpful in the end Shyla, take lots of care of yourself.

Hope Shag Week goes well Thell! Think that's a great name for it!

Well, I do have some news. AF due last week, just had spotting (pink then brown, tmi I know) did a tesco hpt on Wed and got a bfp! We're over the moon but taking each day as it comes.

The brown spotting is still here though, I told the Dr about it and he says it can be normal so just hoping and praying for the best. I don't have any cramps or pains but it's like I can feel everything and I mentioned this to the Dr too and he wasn't concerned.

Just so happy that we managed to conceive again as I was so worried that we'd never get the chance of another pregnancy, I think worrying about it has not been helping at all.

And CM is cervical mucous, homebound. I think there's a page on mumsnet which lists all the abbreviations

homebound · 11/09/2009 20:11

Ya its totally not on it!

mrsbeth · 11/09/2009 20:22

Haven't looked in a while at the list, there's so many abbreviations used on here it's impossible to keep up, but I'm pretty sure CM is cervical mucous.

shyla01 · 12/09/2009 09:41

huge congrats to you mrsbeth,

Momdeguerre · 12/09/2009 15:31

Hi All,
Sorry for my absence .

Shyla - so sorry to hear your sad news, thinking of you.

How is everyone?

Thing with me are ok, should be about 9 weeks now and have my scan on Wed, am terrified and excited all rolled in to one. Desperate to see a healthy baby.

Been very very sick so far this pg, which has been tough but reassuring. Fingers crossed scan will be ok.

So, what have I missed?

Hi to anyone new!!!

Hope you guys don't mind me sticking around, I am loathe to leave!!!

thell · 12/09/2009 23:04

Congrats, MrsBeth
Sounds just like Implantation to me too.

Hey there Mom, sort of glad to hear about your Morning Sickness - I remember everyone telling me it was reassuring Didn't feel like that at the time, but maybe next time round with a higher paranoia rate I'll be more positive about it!

Shag Week is underway - I am frequently putting a hand on my belly and silently cheering on my little gametes!

shyla01 · 13/09/2009 10:47

glad to hear your doing okay mom will keep my fingers crossed that all will be well on wednesday. and please dont go anywhere! i am looking forward to hearing all about your pregnancy.

im just waiting around now! cant ttc again until at least november have been making the most of i have an appt with my cons on the 5th and all my blood test results should be back, although the way my hosp works im not holding my breath!
just really hope they find something wrong that is easily fixable. dont know how i will cope if there is nothing wrong.

mrsbeth i agree with thell that your bleed sounds like implantation. still a worry though isnt it.

thell good luck with shag week!

Momdeguerre · 14/09/2009 09:20

Thell - Shag Week - love that expression!! I am joining you to cheer on all your reproductive system! Fingers crossed.

Shyla - Thanks, I hope you have a good meeting with your consultant too. I suggest you make an enormous investment in the Tesco half price wine offer between now and Nov!

I plan to stick around - find it too hard to hang about on the birth boards etc in early pg - too many sad accounts which make be uber paranoid.

Terrified about Wed but also so excited. Also wondering if I will get caught by the twins - 7 sets of non identical on my mums side but they skipped her generation. . . . . they also tend to be very good irish ginger twin boys. . . .My little brother is a huge strapping ginger rugby player though and just gorgeous and charming so I would not mind a couple like him!

Hope Shag week is going well Thell! Shyla hope you're getting well looked after by your family, lots of love to you all.

Mom, hope today goes well. I'm Maisie with a new name by the way, I had a fab holiday and thought I'd return.

I'm doing ok, lactulose is taking care of the constipation and I'm off to the Dr's tomorrow to get something for piles. So it's all fun here! Have no interest in sex whatsoever at the moment, so have gone from one extreme to the other! The achey feelings I had in abdo have pretty much subsided and the brown spotting hasn't gone but is no worse. Will mention it to the Dr tomorrow again but am not fretting, just hope and pray all is and will be well really. Hope you don't mind me sharing all that with you!

Had to take the cat to the vets this am, she needed some antibiotics, to get me back she had a wee in the car on the way back! She then lounged in the sun while I cleaned the car!
