Well, I'm no expert, but if it felt like something was in the way, that could be a good sign that your cervix is lower because of ovulating.
If you're feeling for your cervix, it's a little nobble, about the size of your finger tip, about a finger's length inside...to me it feels like it's on the roof of the vagina, because the whole thing is tilted backwards. It's got a clearly distinguishable dimple in the middle of it, which is the opening. The opening isn't very big even when it's open... hence 1cm (roughly one finger's width) would be the start of dilation in labour.
EWCM is such a great acronym - ewwww!
Anyway, a friend of mine told me she always had trouble finding cm - never enough about to just check underwear, so she gathered it from the cervix itself by giving it a little squeeze. HTH.
Also, taking basal temp is a good way of finding out if you are ovulating (I discovered about two days ago trawling the web!). It's the main reason I've just started tracking it for the first time - to see if I really am ovulating! If your temp doesn't rise at all, then it means no ov.
But I reckon an ache in the belly around day 15, two months in a row, sounds pretty convincing to me!
Good luck Shyla!!
