stac14 · 07/07/2009 20:19

Thanks clure how you?

AF has started this end, came on at tea time, cramps are killing me, cd 1 for me, clomid 2m may as well xx

Clure · 07/07/2009 21:10

hi, I'm ok. On Cd 16 or 17 now. No way of knowing if I've ovulated. Not very optimistic this cycle.
DD had her first starting school afternoon today - she was fine, I wasn;t!! Can't believe my baby is starting school in September. Think you right stac to give the clomid another go. xxx

paddington21 · 08/07/2009 18:51

Hi all well spoke to doc who said test again on mon then start clomid- all well and good but today had more brown stuff than before but now its gone. i am so very confused i just did a cheapie and its neg so what do i do now? if this is a period its the oddest one i have ever had.

am quite down about the whole thing plus i wont be cycle buddies with stac this also makes me very sad

dont worry about your bubba starting school clure she will flourish and blossom xx

stac14 · 08/07/2009 19:03

paddington whole thing is confusing, my af is very light too so dont knowif I should take the clomid, to be honest I am thinking I might not bother as I may put myself through side effects for nothing. I'm sure you will be fine hun. xx

clure I remember when ds went to school I cried buckets but he skipped away quite the thing, he was used to nursery so it wasnt such a big change for him lol how did she like her visit? xxx

Clure · 08/07/2009 19:10

hi stac, DD enjoyed her visit to school and was happy as my friends little one is starting at same time so they went into class hand in hand Stac did you get many side effects from the clomid?
paddington - think clomid does affect af. The one I had (after my 100+ day break from af!) was very light, bit like you're describing, try not to worry (hard I know)

another work colleague pregnant. another colleague (who I am close to and knows my situation) gave me a big hug and acknowledged how difficult it must be. Bless her.

baby dust to you all x

paddington21 · 08/07/2009 19:18

im going to give til fri and then crack on- totally fed up with this! only taking clomid this month to ensure a period- haha well mayebe if im lucky enough to get one!

tea is ready back soon glad all are ok. do what you think is best stac at the end of the day you know your body thats what im doing
xxx

stac14 · 08/07/2009 21:37

To be honest girls its dp puting me off taking it this month, as he says it didnt work for most of the time I was on it which is why I am being sent for the scan. paddington taking clomid wont ensure af for me I have just been lucky this time to take one as was on day 50 or something (stopped counting after cd35 lol)

{{{hugs}}} for you clure, I am happy to hear about success stories on here but very hard to hear about it when people say 'it just happened' or 'we werent even trying' soz girls rant over just in a bit of a stinking mood at the mo, cramp getting the better of me and I am tired so having an early night, at least thats what I am telling myself lol xxx

paddington21 · 09/07/2009 08:30

hi all sorry dp was nagging me to get off pc.

Stac its your boday take it if you want to- there is also hope. af finally came through today so ive already taken my clomid as i dont feel the side effects. So i am on day 5 to 10 on clomid which works out quite well as i ovulate late anyhow and my scan is booked for day 15 so could still get lucky this month after scan.

(hugs) for clure its horrible hun i agree with you stac its not fun at all hearing of all these women who just say the word pregnant and whoops there she goes!

hope all have a good day im going to the doc about my skin and clicky ears- i know girls ms bear leads a very rock and roll lifestyle

hope to all x x x

clairebear88 · 09/07/2009 09:22

Hi all

It sounds like we are all so down on the clomid at the mo. Hugs to all ((()))

stac - concerning IUI I think everyone is different but as I had clomid 5 months last year before I had any tests done ( from GP ) with no results. Then had all tests done and all that showed up was curly tubes, wonky womb and high cervix so no pcos or other underline problems. then clomid again for 4 months so far with no results. My FC said beofre clomid this time that we will try 6 months clomid then IUI.
It toally depends on your problem and test results. DH has a history of slughtly low count too so IUI would be perfect for us apparently. I dont know anyone in RL who has this done though so am wary.
I really hope we dont get as far as IVF as dont wanna pump myself full of drugs and inject loads ( not good with needles)

Oh well I suppose Ill go through anything to get to the end and have a DC.

millymolly83 · 10/07/2009 01:24

hi girls sorry not been on for a while. something happend i don,t want to in to. but am starting to take clomid again on my next cycle. my periods have been comeing ever month since i toke provera that one time 2 months ago. i forgot can any one tell me what day of your cycle do u go for the scan thing to see if u are ov is it day 10 of your cycle. how are u stacs and clure and everone else

stac14 · 10/07/2009 17:13

Hi millymolly sounds like the clomid is doing its job if you have been having af yourself. The clomid doesnt work for me so I am waiting to go for a scan to check my tubes, took a natural period just on wednesday so I am in agony with the cramps on a positive note I got onto the course I wanted so I am happy. What you been up to? xxx

pinkypanther · 10/07/2009 18:18

Hello all. Sorry to hear some of you are feeling so down.

Wasn't sure whether to post on here or not (don't want to be rubbing it in for anybody) but have decided to anyway, in case it encourages anyone that there might be light at the end of the tunnel...

I had my 6 week scan today, the little bean (and it was just one!) had a heartbeat. They said it looked ok, and although there are no guarantees, it was as good as it could be. I know where I'll be back if it all goes wrong again though.

Lots of baby dust to you all x

stac14 · 11/07/2009 16:36

Hey pinkypanther dont think we dont want to hear about you, everyone on here has gone through the same things and we are so chuffed your little bean is getting bigger hun. Please keep us updated with your progress. Have you been given your due date? xxx

Well af has been kicking my ass this month, its soo heavy and I have been in agony, starting to ease off a bit now thankfully. How is everyone else? xxx

Hey shreksmisses
sounds like your timing it well, you would usually be advised to bd every other day from cd 10 so you have probably covered it, hope thats what you mean lol xx

Clure · 12/07/2009 18:47

hi all,

been away for a lovely long weekend visiting family.
stac sorry af getting you again
shrekmissis yes sounds like you doing the right things in terms of timing it. There are never any guarantees with clomid (or without!!) but bding from day 10 sounds like you have a good a chance as any
pinky good news about your scan, as stac said we are pleased to hear of success stories - don't ever feel guilty, you've been through it too.
millymolly good to have you back, cant really offer advice on the scan thing as I've never been offered one! hopefully someone on here can
clairbear you seem to have been through a lot without getting monitored. Its tough finding out your diagnosis having gone through 6 months of clomid.
hello to anyone else I missed. have a good week all
xxxx

millymolly83 · 13/07/2009 00:30

Hey ladies
how are you all today? any news? Af isnt so bad now just feel a bit drained because of how heavy it was. I was feeling a bit crap recently but back to normal now thank goodness lol

clure sounds like you have had a lovely weekend, how have you been? Are they not monitoring you at all?

clairebear did they just let you get on with the clomid the first time round? What made them do further tests on you? I have kind of kept at the consultant due to his lax attitude lol

millymolly thats a lot to be geting on with, hows things been on the clomid? sounds as if the clomid is working for you since your takin af on your own, have they been monitoring you?

shreksmisses I think on average you ov on day 14, but that varies due to the clomid hun, do you use opk's? I dont due to my pcos

stac14 · 13/07/2009 15:30

paddington how are you? x

Clure · 13/07/2009 19:28

hi

stac am not being monitored and they've postponed my appt with consultant from early august to mid sept. Very annoying.

millymolly I'm now on CD 24 and waiting to test in a weeks time. you sound very busy!

hi shrekmissis, clairbear, paddington and the rest of you ladies.

Well I've tweaked my back (done this before in the same place, have got a bit of a weakness in lower back/pelvis) in pain and hobbling, rubbish really as I'm supposed to be doing a local triathlon on saturday. Hopefully my visit to chiropractor on wednesday will sort it out!

millymolly83 · 14/07/2009 00:43

hi stac the doctors told me to stop till i moved just with stress of it starting again on my next period. i got 6 months worth of clomid. can u tell me is it day 10 u get the scans to see if your olv.

hi clure ye my twins keep me on my toes. the moves been nightmare but done now. hope your tests go ok.

hi awen how are u geting on?

stac14 · 14/07/2009 12:01

Hi millymolly it is generally day 10 for scans but if they are not scanning you then ask for cd21 bloods, that what I got. Are you worried about starting clomid again?

clure I would have thought they would have at least done bloods. When are you due to test? Meant to ask how dd's first visit at school went?

How are the rest of you ladies? all good I hope xxx

paddington21 · 14/07/2009 15:35

hey girlies. well after a girlie weekend away i found work on mon a massive comedown. the whole clomid sitiuation has made me feel so down have taken couple of days as leave to think through a few things- have my scan next fri and hey if they are blocked they are blocked. do they recommend having them unblocked via an op- i have only hear this to be the case but dp is dead set against me going under a general again- long story!
anyhow that is me being negative.

how is everyone hey stac and clure- you gals doing ok?
