mummycat, lol at kama sutra. may get a copy myself, although bought a (ahem) plaything a few months ago and still too shy to useit with dh did dh have his boys checked? if so it may be worth checking again, these things can change.

peju, hope your period is staying away.

think i may have ov'd last night, had funny almosy popping ache first on left then right then left again. off out with mil today, but just in case have told dh to brace himself when we get back. ds will be having a nap today methinks feels like this is our best chance, esp since they will reduce the dosage next month.

awen hope clomid is treating you well. I've not had any side effects, today will be my last day (same with you!) I've been taking it at bedtime. Sad for your friend - can't imagine going through that after the trauma of giving birth.

lissielou good news you may have ovulated!

There's a few ladies who are nearing the end of cycle and hopefully we may get some bfp's.

My back is better, went for a nice big 13k run this morning, gorgeously sunny.

clure, good you havent had any side effects may take mine at night next month (if needed) and glad your back is feeling better!

Girls i need help... ovulated earlier on my third round of clomid. am now 2 days late and have always been on time with clomid the previous 2 cycles. ust done a hpt-a clearblue plus one and it was negative.
I obviously cant call doc until mon but i feel totally rubbish about the whole thing. I mean to be late and not pregnant is just the height of cruelty.
Should I do another test... today, tomorrow?

Any ideas/thoughts?

Im sorry you are upset - this TTC malarkey really messes with your head. Personally I would wait to tomorrow morning and use FMU.

Do you have a clearblue digital?? I only use them now as there is no debating over looking for lines.

I know that the first month on Clomid I was a day late, second month I was a day early, third time I was spot on Day 28.

It is a powerful drug so I reckon that will mess up your system.

Will watch for your progress.

paddington hug for you. i see you are day 30? amelied gives good advice, i would second waiting and doing another test and using the digital (haven't used one of those but like amelie says, no quibble) often its too early to test. Hard to wait I know

Thanks clure and amelied I am definitely going to use the digital one im waiting til tues- day 32 thats when my last two period's came but as i ovulated early i just dont know what on earth is going on. I'm not very crampy but i do have lots of er... mucus seriously everytime i go to the toilet one has never checked her knickers in such a way- like a woman posessed.

Thanks for the support. Prob was bit early to test but my these hormones will be the end of me!

Can I say having oodles of mucus at this stage of the month is a good sign.

paddington Jealous about loads of cm! hoping the clomid will help me on that front!! Been so long since I ovulated!
You sound like you have a sensible head (despite those hormones!!) hoping you have a relaxing evening and calm tomorrow

I'm feeling good as DH and myself have just booked a little holiday in the summer. Nowhere flash (I have a phobia of flying so thats put a stop to anything far flung!) but nice and relaxing with beach nearby for DD

speaking of DD poor love, took her to park earlier (she is terribly accident prone!) she fell backwards whilst walking backwards and did a back flip over a bench and cut her head. I was chasing her at the time. I felt SO BAD! It bled, ok at bathtime but you know how heads bleed! BAD MUM!

Clure aww bless you! dont feel bad hun. Not only was i very accident prone as a child (my poor mother)but i still am! I'm sure she like most people will grow out of it(its just me i have to be blooming different) By the way heads do bled!
Once I had my tears and orangina( i love it BGT so sensible head has returned.

I would hold off testing for the time being in your circumstances and wait a further week before retesting. Did blood tests or scans confirm ovulation; if this did not happen I would certainly refrain from testing now.

clure hows dd? my ds was forever hurting himself, he fell out the bed one night and cut his face on the bedside table I felt like a right witch lol but they get over it. How you feeling with the clomid?

Well ladies this month I have been quite down and I am convinced that I havent ov'd this month, so hoping I am wrong. Thinking about having a month off this month anyone think this a good idea or will the side effects of the clomid just come back??

well still no af .........yet. boobs sore all time now had few af cramps on fri but none yesterday or so far today....my fingers are cramped from having them crossed lol!!

stac - i had a break as felt i needed it had no symptoms...i have heard that some people can still ov as some of the drug stays in your system...didnt work for me but u never know..think it sometimes does u good to have a little break just to get your head back if nothing else!

Attila I was only monitored for the 1st month as the doc was happy with my results- I ovulated. I assume as I had period last month i ovulated again. I ovulated early this month but am holding off testing for now if nothing happens by wed im ringing the doc see what she says.

Been getting few cramps and odd boob pain... nothing else to report- the knicker watching patrol continues.

p.s clure am taking a leaf out of your book... going to spend lots of time with DP and we've booked a week away for sept and this coming fri afternoons off work.

Am feeling ok- feel positive one minute and very very negative the next.. oh well feel like im about to come on every now and then- still got the discharge going on( have you tried grapefruit and that cough medicine i did both and drank grapefruit tea as well as juice- seemed to help otherwise preseed?- though ive not tried it)

Also attila if nothing happens when i do back on clomid i will ask doctor for monthly monitoring but as this is my 3rd month before then i was still a tad overjoyed i was ovulating. On clomid can you ovulate one month and not the next?

Hi paddington glad you got a holiday to look forward to, we've just had confirmation of our booking and have told DD and she very excited. Forgotten her cut head!! Thanks for asking about her. I have to say I'm with you on the rollercoaster of emotions. Guess its natural, I keep wondering if I'm doing the right thing, you know rocking the boat. Also given my age but then I think it needs to be now or never. I've bought some preseed to try and will give the grapefruit a go (even though I don't like it!) Won't do the cough medicine though as not sure if there will be clash with my blood pressure meds.

Right ladies what do you recommend in terms of BD - how much, which days etc. I'm not going to use OPK's as my LH and FSH levels are both high and as attila advocated OPK would probably give a false reading.

In terms of bedding I have been week before i expect to ovulate and up to ovulation and during ovulation and two days after.
However when i get my af this month dp and i will be everyday! just to make sure i dont miss a day

Sigh as the doc (is this the GP or a gynae?) should be monitoring you monthly anyway. Clomid is quite powerful stuff and monitoring should be done. With regards to your second sentence it is actually possible to have periods without ovulating. Short of a blood test or scans confirming ovulation I would not assume that ovulation did occur. Do ring the doc on Wednesday, let us know how you get on.

Would bd as and when you both feel like it and forget all about the so called "ovulation time". Its all too easy to get the date wrong and even in normally fertile women, ovulation does not happen every month.

Do NOT go down the route of timed intercourse under any circs as it can cause problems within a relationship.

Will do attila just got to get to wed now.. big sigh. Am within hospital been referred within fertility clinic.

Agree with attila clure we tried timed and it was horrible experience to be honest but now dp is much more supportive and open with me so we are bedding lots lots more

How are you all?

paddington I was wondering the same thing with clomid I was hoping that once you start oving on it I would just continue to do so but as far as I have been led to believe every cycle is different. I am waiting to hear from CD21 bloods to see if I have ov'd this month and you should be getting bloods done each month as atilla says
