Hi everyone. I am starting up a new thread since our old one was reaching the 1000 post limit.

Hi "Lissielou" - welcome!

I took Clomid before I went ot bed. My experience of Clomid is:

1st month: Night sweats, constantly feeling hot during the day when I am naturally a cold person. Felt I was in a daze/forgetful the five days I was on it.

2nd month: Night sweats and fingers/toes swelling.

3rd month: Night sweats and fingers/toes swelling and put on 7lbs since taking it . I took a shine to sweet things when I am normally a savoury kinda gal so bewarey!

I didnt have any headaches or mood swings although my DH mat have a different opinion

oooh, definately warmer at night. im normally a fleecy pj's/hot water bottle/heavy quilts type of gal, but last night slept on top of bed in a tshirt.

are you on round 4 then?

Was meant to be, I have 3 more rounds left but I was meant to be having a Hysteroscopy at the beginning of June so was told not to bother taking it this month.

Then find out yesterday that it wont be happening 'til after 27th of July! It took four days for them to tell me that leaving it too late for this month as I had AF lat Thursday.

Quite relieved to be off it if Im honest.

will you be having the hysteroscopy under GA? i was v sore for a while after mine. make sure you take big pants.

Hi again Lissie, sorry to hear about your headache and other symptoms. From my experience I would say it's likely it's the drugs. I had lots of bad headaches the first month from the day after I'd taken it. They have lessened a few months in but still happening. I def have felt totally spaced out aswell - like I've been out clubbing and had no sleep for a week! Hope you settle down soon x

thank you. on the plus side my period has "normalled" and as i said to dh, we've waited so long that i will put up with ANY symptoms now

no worries. i was in and out with mine, took me down at about 12 and i was home by 6. lots of waiting though so take a good book!

I have had a D&C for a mmc so I know about the wait.

It is the magic tea and toast you get afterwards that I remember.

hi all just thought i would let you all no i gave birth to my beautiful little girl 14 days ago and she was concieved on the 2nd month of clomid

i thought it hadnt worked that month as didnt have any side effects but it did so please keep your heads up and try and relax ...i no easier said than done lol.....

Im still here too. feel a bit rotten tbh, will this last all month? the hot flushes/nausea/mood swings? and is it possible that the clomid affected this months period? cause it was only 4d long when its normally at least 7.

Im still here too but wish i was going away for BH, mind you weather is looking good which makes a lovely change.
sorry your feeling rough Lissie, I did feel better as the months go on so fingers crossed for you too. do you take the tabs before bed as it seems to help with side effects.
I had my scan today and follicles were only 13 and 14 so not great but FC told me to try anyway as it can still happen. He wouldnt give me the HCG shot as the follicles were not a great size. Gotta go back next month for another scan and if its still the same gonna increase me to 100mg.

Anyways everyone have a wicked relaxing BH

hi clairebear, have you got much planned this weekend? take my tabs in the morning (so i remember to have breakfast) should i move it to nights then? and what is the HCG shot for if you dont mind me asking. my prob was rmc, but cons decided to give clomid a go to sort my body out. has been out of sorts since last mc

Im in essex so going to southend airshow on sunday for a walk about then stay with friends for a bbq and a few drinkies. nice to just have time off work tbh. what bout you?
Alot of the girls on here have said taking tabs before bed help reduce the side effects so maybe give it a shot if your feeling rough.
The HCG shot sets of ovulation so if your follicles are a good size they can give you the shot and you can time conception better.I think they also use it if you dont ovulate at all. I have not had it before so not all clued up.

Hi awen know how you feel! Its tedious and for most of the time I bumble along because thats my nature but then the realisation of time ticking will suddenly dawn on me and it'll do my head in for a bit, then I'm ok. Did you have any side effects with provera? Are you getting any "premenstrual" indications? After taking the provera my (sorry about the next bit tmi alert) prolapse feels worse. I know thats hormonally related. Maybe AF could arrive??! Hopefully it will for you too - and soon! x

Hello everyone am back from my break in cornwall- was lovely- had a bit of an emotional day yesterday just full of frustration and sick of seeing pregnant women everywhere i go! I know that is silly but when your having a bad day it just doesnt help!
How is everyone doing? have i missed anything?
Had really odd month on clomid this time goodness knows whats going on.
