Congratulations Trying4Baby1!! I'm so happy to see that we have a graduate!

Good luck Fulham!

kkas · 21/08/2009 15:30

fulham my thoughts are with you sweety good luck!

claire lol about your DH - I think all guys are a bit competitive, especially in the producing offspring field (isn't that what they are genetically programmed to do?) but I agree with curly that my DH would probably roll his eyes. He doesn't even know about MN yet!

claireinthecommunity · 21/08/2009 15:47

'Damp pants', thanks for that Curly and sky

Well kkas, my DH has forums of interest that he goes on too, so it's the norm for us.

Hi sevans what's happening with you at the moment, any sign of AF or any other news yet?

bluesnowfalcon · 21/08/2009 15:49

Hi all I'm TTC number 1 and came off pill in July can I join in the conversation?

Congrats trying and thinking of you fulham.

I think i'm CD 14 and think I'm on a 28 day cycle too so that should put me at ovulating today or tomorrow! Think I might have to jump my DP later just in case

Wish all good luck and hope to see lots of BFP's on here

Trying4Baby1 · 21/08/2009 16:42

Hi everyone and thanks for the congrats!
ImmaterialGirl I don't have any plans to change my name yet (mainly cause I can't think of anything).

Fulham I didn't have any spotting or sore boobs for that matter. I've been having weird dreams though and I had sore hips with pain going down the front of my legs. Also extreme hot flushes and has been feeling a bit faint (mainly because of the flushes I think).

Anyway, good luck everyone and I will pop in to see you all and see if there are other graduates! Baby dust for all!!!

ImmaterialGirl · 21/08/2009 16:45

welcome bluesnowfalcon! nice to have more first-timers here and definitely sounds like you should be jumping DP later...

fulham best of luck tomorrow! Fingers crossed for you!

and I second the cheering for damp pants!

ImmaterialGirl · 21/08/2009 16:48

I seem to keep x-posting today...

trying4 good to hear from you, and interesting to hear about the symptoms... Do pop by now and again!

Trying4Baby1 · 21/08/2009 17:06

Just thought I'd quickly mention that someone said earlier about using the cheap ebay tests. I used one of these tests that are supposed to be really accurate at low doses and it came up negative. So be careful if you're using them!! I got a BFP using the tescos own tests as they were on offer when I bought them and got 4 tests for about £9.

sky27 · 21/08/2009 17:24

Trying4 Did you say stuff about achy legs and hip pains? My hip 'went' yesterday and it has hurt today also stomach cramps like ov pain and achy legs. Help anyone

Trying4Baby1 · 21/08/2009 17:28

I had sore hips and it was like the pain went from my hips down the front of my legs. Didn't last for very long but I was walking a bit funny for a while. Looked like I'd had an accident

sky27 · 21/08/2009 17:34

Trying4 How many dpo were you when you got this? Do you feel better now?

Trying4Baby1 · 21/08/2009 17:38

sky27 It was Wednesday so I would have been CD26 don't know how many DPO as I never kept track of that but reckon that I ovulated about day 14 of my cycle which would make it about 12DPO roughly. Were are you on your cycle?

sky27 · 21/08/2009 17:53

Only 5dpo. I ov'ed late this month. I would have been due today but should have an extra 3/4 days before af due

Trying4Baby1 · 21/08/2009 18:03

You never know, but I realise how annoying it is to have to wait to test!!!!

sevans · 21/08/2009 19:52

Hi claire! Not much going on here. Still no sign of AF but I did have some very light spotting Wednesday and Thursday this week. None today yet. I actually had some spotting before on CD 15,16,17, and 22 (just checked my chart for the dates) which I thought was a little weird. I'm all over the place and now on CD 57!

I started doing the charting through fertility friend from day 1 of this cycle but only started temping on day 34.

I think I may be broken.

claireinthecommunity · 21/08/2009 20:27

Oh sevans I'm sure you're not broken, your cycle is just taking a while to get back to 'normal'. I remember earlier on in the thread you mentioned you suffer with PCOS, have you gone any further (medically speaking) about the condition and what 'help' there maybe out there for you?

Welcome to bluesnowfalcon

sevans · 21/08/2009 21:24

claire, no I haven't. My doctor told me to try for three months and if no pregnancy or no regular periods then to go see her. My three months are July, August, and September so I have some trying time left. Maybe something will magically happen the next month and a half!

Best wishes to everyone and a wonderful weekend!

claireinthecommunity · 21/08/2009 21:37

Ok, so three months then go back to see doctor. This is our 3rd month of trying so I can empathize with you about how long three months can feel. All I can say is I hope something happens for you soon.

sevans · 22/08/2009 14:20

claire...and I hope something happens for you soon too!!

Hope all is well. Repeat after me 'I'm not broken'. I think we all feel odd at times, I look at pregnant women and think I bet you didn't go through all this s**t

ImmaterialGirl · 22/08/2009 17:20

sevans I'm sure you're not broken! It feels like forever, doesn't it, but it will happen and then you will look back and realise it wasn't that long after all.

Big hugs!

sky thanks for updating.

Hope everyone is having a lovely weekend!

CurlyCasper · 22/08/2009 17:32

sevans honey I'm sure you are not broken! and thanks Sky for updating.

I have news - DH and I been doing some research and looking at dates, and while I gave up most of my meds at the start of July, I had actually stopped the worst one (in terms of getting PG while on it) several weeks earlier for completely different reasons. The upshot is, we've decided we're actually good to go now! So we went... this afternoon So I guess cycle -1 just became cycle 1. Probably won't get anywhere with it this month anyway - but all good practice though !!!

Curly Wooohooo!!!

And you're on CD9! Get thee bonking!

Are you going to use opk's this cycle or just the 'shag as much as humanly possible' method?

CurlyCasper · 22/08/2009 17:52

A bit of both I think - but more of the latter judging by today! (DH has just left for work with a huge grin on his face )
