Morning ladies,

Sorry about all the BFN's over the weekend.

bringon I DID indulge in big DP hugs, a Cadbury's Buttons easter egg & a large glass of wine. Mmmmm, maybe I shouldn't have, as still no AF! Like so many of you I was convinced within an hour of my BFN I'd have my AF........

Now I'm getting cross with my own body! Its like my head & the rest of me are not speaking to each other - how messed up is that?

Also cross as even if AF arrives I have no idea how long my cycle length is now, so more confusion if I start OPK! Argh!!!

And I know all this tension I'm heaping on myself isn't going to help, but how do you stop that?

Answers on a postcard please........

Sorry to hear that blocka . Same here, so shift up & we'll open the cans of lager on the back of the bus (how un-ladylike).

In a bizzare way I'm glad. Its the waiting around I can't cope with. At least now I can get AF out of the way, & I'm going to try temping etc this month. I like feeling in control (no good in this TTC business).

At least I'm on the right bus now, & can look forward to a Christmas lunch without worrying about going into labour! How inconvenient that would be!!

Hugs all round, x

ah blocka so sorry to hear about af getting you.

laurielou- a big glass of wine never hurt anyone a big glass of vodka.. well that's a different story! perhaps you ovulated later than originally thought? i read that the luteal phase stays the same amount of days and late afs are usually due to late ovulation. really hope your bod relieves you of your stress one way or the other soon so you and your dh can move on to the next step!

uggggggggg why does mother nature do this to us???

bringonthetrumpets · 20/04/2009 10:18

oops, sorry laurielou, x post. sending over another big heap of chocolate and a bottle of wine your way!

Josie22 · 20/04/2009 10:55

Morning everyone. Sorry to hear about all the bfn. Wish there was something to say to make it better but onwards and upwards for us all.

Laurie - perhaps test again tomorrow if no af. It's so unfair that symptoms appear as you do feel as though your body/mind is just playing tricks on you. Will still keep my fingers crossed for you though. I wish there was a way to stop mind obsessing too. I'm terrible!!

Hi guys! Sorry to hear about all the BFN. I know how you feel- gutted but glad you know and I always have a good drink too!!

Well Iam CD12, my last cycle was 33 days. Have got some ovulation sticks from clear blue and thinking of starting tomorrow. Does anyone have any tips? And if I get a positive what does that mean? I think I ovulated late last cycle as we BD right up to day 16.

Bettymum · 20/04/2009 13:59

Hello ladies,
Just logged on. Sorry to hear about all the BFNs , I was thinking about you all on Saturday morning. Maybe we'll get some BFPs in the next few days. It looks from my temperatures that I've definitely ovulated so now I sit and wait for two weeks...fingers crossed.

missiek · 20/04/2009 16:02

hi all, sorry to hear about the BFN
I'm CD 12 and going to start opk's today (as soon as I get home). I tested +ve on CD12 last month although my cycle was 29 days (longest ever) and i was taking Clomid. Not taken it this month, just needed a break from it. Now this is the time i'll start obsessing!!! Here I go...!

thesoo · 20/04/2009 19:01

Hi ladies, sorry about all the BFN news.I was on tenterhooks on Saturday morning during the test-fest.

Rtuff - I am approaching the top of the list so things are getting tense round our house which is probably not helping.

I am day 30 of a 33-35 day cycle today, and have had some sharp pains in my side and tummy area for a few days. I also noticed some pale brownish discharge when I went to the loo today. What can it be?? Have never had this before, usually AF announces herself with bright red (sorry if TMI). Dare I hope for implantation bleeding...?

Blocka · 20/04/2009 19:16

Sounds promising thesoo ! I'll keep everything crossed for you!!

Schlumpf · 20/04/2009 21:00

Hi there,

haven't checked in for a few days. I've finally worked out my CD and at 33 it's well over my normally quite regular 28/29 days. Also still feeling nauseaus, about 4-5 days in a row now.

Did another test on Sun and I would say not really conclusive. There was an ever, ever so faint line appearing, but it was well after the 5 minutes it's supposed to take. Test said there can be a line appearing in a negative test after about 30 minutes...???

DH then went into a major panick about having another child (helpful timing!) but has now calmed down.

So will re-test tomorrow...

Have you got any pics of your test Schlumpf? We can all have a look and see what it could be evap line or baby.

Chalkpink · 20/04/2009 21:56

Hi,
Just back from a weekend at center parcs. Was thinking about all the testing this weekend. Sorry there's no good news yet.
Thesoo - sounds really hopeful. And yes schlumph have you got a photo you can put on your profile so we can all inspect and speculate on whether there's a bfp waiting to make an appearance?
Off to do another load of washing. Kids back at school tomorrow though. Yay!

Chalkpink · 20/04/2009 21:57

Obviously, I meant Schlumpf.

Blocka · 20/04/2009 22:02

Ohhh, exciting stuff Slumpf ! Looking forward to your test tomorrow....
