MrsDis I recognise him but can't for the life of me think of his name.

Someone spill!

Well... back to work and back to the routine today soooo hard to get out of bed! Nice to be sending the DCs back to school though! Am looking forward to my OB appointment tomorrow. Am a little anxious to make sure the little guy is growing as he should be. Are you showing yet MrsD??

Ready - keep sitting on those hands Its always harder to wait, when you are waiting for such BIG news!!

Scorpio - big hugs to Mimi for her big day

FIL seems to be doing really well at the moment so there is some peace in the family.

Am looking forward to our 3D/4D scan in a couple of weeks! Never had one of those done before. We are doing it at a private office (since it is not for medical reasons, only for keepsake). The scan will be broadcast live over the web for my family to see, and we will be getting a disk with all the photos. Will have to post them on FB! Am very curious to see what my LO looks like!!

Ready4anotherMiniEgg · 14/04/2009 15:56

oooh, Babyblur, add me, please would love to ogle your beanie.

ladylush · 14/04/2009 17:03

Scorpio Happy birthday to Mimi Wow that year has flown by. Here's hoping for a new lo in 2010

babyblue3 · 14/04/2009 17:11

Ready - add me to FB (Marianne Ferrari). I will let you know when I post the new scan pics. The old ones are up... as are pics of my lot (msg me so I know who u are..LOL).

Katnkittens · 14/04/2009 17:24

LOL ready.. babyblur... is that referring to most of our states of mind at the minute???

Happy birthday Mimi, I bet she's so cute! Now the trouble starts... walking etc I love it really!

CD14 today, been a bit crampy was a bit worried about an AF showing up but it seems to have settled down and hopefully was related to OV so am so happy. Can't explain how much more positive I feel after all this.

Been glossing today, who do kids always touch the bits they have NEVER ever touched before when there is wet paint on it??? I said to dd2 dont touch that bit and she put her finger on it and said 'that bit'? DOH!

She's had loads of absences today and leaned against my freshly glossed door during one so I can't really blame her for that one... I have a very white painted child today

Rang the Drs and they cant get me her prescription til Thursday - they're completely crap!
hugs to all xxx

Rainbow Just remember that Spring is here... which means spring fever

Katnkittens · 14/04/2009 19:39

Aww rainbow, was so hoping this was your month

Think on the bright side, a Christmas baby would be so inconvenient and expensive! You want a Jan baby really like I'm going to have

Chin up babe

xxx

HeinzSight · 14/04/2009 20:22

Rainbow (((hugs)))

Ready4anotherMiniEgg · 14/04/2009 20:55

Rainbow

A Jan baby is much more practical. you can get all their birthday stuff in the sales.

xx

babyblue3 · 15/04/2009 17:58

Well... OB appointment went well today Bub is growing as he should be, my blood pressure is fine, and, I only gained 2lbs this month!! Wooo Hooo! Makes me feel less of a cow! LOL

Next week I do my glucose test and week after my Rhogam... then its nothing but doc appointments til he is born. My doc okayed pregnancy massage, which I will be looking into straight away. My company insurance pays for it, and since my back is already starting to hurt, I may as well take advantage!

How is everyone? Weather is finally looking up here. By Friday it will be up to 18 dregrees (then back down to 6 on Sunday... sigh). Hopefully I can take advantage and do a little gardening.

DS was a real bugger last night. Am surprised my blood pressure was normal today after the row I had with him last night! LOL... and my DH has to ask why I wanted to have another son!!

ScorpiowithabigS · 16/04/2009 12:38

babyblue - they never weigh you here, only ask for approx at bookign in, i think to establish pelvic size really. Glad baby is as good as can can be

Well DH is ohome today instead of yeesterday - he got 2 infected mosquito bitesd that turnedi n to abcesses on the 16 hour flight (!) and had to have an emergency op in Somerset yesterday under general. He is Cornwall as we speak, driving home! Yay!

babyblue3 · 16/04/2009 15:05

Scorpio - glad your DH is finally making his way home. Thats awful about the misquito bites though! A 16 hour flight is bad enough without that happening. Hopefully he will heal up real quick.

FIL is doing much better. Will probably go to hospital to see him this weekend. My SIL says he looks better that he has in a couple of years! He was transferred last night back to the local hospital and is now in a regular room. He is no longer attached to a million machines and is sitting in a chair and watching the telly! Unbelievable! What a difference a week makes. DH feels like the weight of the world has been lifted... which is making home-life less stressful as well. Hopefully I will have him all to myself on Saturday!

How is everyone else?

Ready4anotherMiniEgg · 16/04/2009 20:47

Good news about your FIL Babyblue, and that your baby's well.

I'm pleased to hear your dh is home, Scorpio, bet you can't wait to put that nurses uniform on

I guess the 2ww is almost over, just a few more days. I was so sure last weekend, now, I'm trying to prepare myself emotionally for af, it'll be my 1st on since dd2 was born. Found the mooncup though!

How is everyone?

Katnkittens · 17/04/2009 11:24

Ooh ready keeping my fingers crossed for you!

Well I think this may be my last month TTC. DD1 got a part scholorship for this amazing school so she's going but money will be veery tight. Not sure its a great idea to have another baby right now... I'm on CD18 so its a bit late if I am pregnant, we'll cope, knowing my luck I will be I'll still be chuffed

Who knows though I may still change my mind, DH says he'd prefer to wait in an ideal world but he's leaving the final decision up to me.

ScorpiowithabigS · 17/04/2009 13:06

Babyblue - good news about FIL

Kat - oh no, how do you feel about that? Is it 3 you have? (i know we are ttc#4 but i know some of us have more...)

Ready - ooooh good luck!!

DH is home and i'm really happy and i have still been teasing him about 5 dc and he still doesnt say no LOL

Ready4anotherMiniEgg · 17/04/2009 14:10

Just tested negative

I guess my body did everything but ovulate. I know with the others I have one af then nothing, so maybe next month.

would be a pita though, as next month would make a late jan baby, and dd1 is 31th jan, and dd2 is 27th feb. Bollocks.

rainbowdays · 17/04/2009 18:18

Ready4 - sorry you got a negative, has af arrived then?

Kat - congrats on your daughter getting the scholarship, she must be good. I hope you are not going to abandon ship on us!

Scorpio - good to hear that your dh is on his way home at last.

babyblue - great to hear that FIL is doinng so much better. I am pleased that you will get some of you dh time back too.

big wave to everyone else.....

Ready4anotherMiniEgg · 17/04/2009 20:20

No, no af, just got got impatient. gives me a chance to get my head ready, as this weekend will b mad, ds has his party on sun.

Kat, big well done to your DD, you must be so proud.

Scorpio, get cracking lass

waves hello

Katnkittens · 18/04/2009 01:56

I'm very very proud of her I have no idea how she can sing as both me and her Dad are rubbish! But her ambition is to be on the west end, she loves musical theatre and performs like a true star!

Anyway, CD19 and I have all the signs I had last pregnancy but who knows? Not sure whether I want to be or not but what will be will be.

Not sure about abandoning ship either. I'll get back to you on that

rainbowdays · 19/04/2009 21:30

Scorpio - I hope that Mimi had a happy birthday yesterday!

Kat - how are you feeling? you are not allowed to jump ship, everyone here has to stay, noone is allowed to leave, MrsD tried it, but we dragged her back kicking and screaming, we will to the same to you.

Katnkittens · 20/04/2009 01:13

PMSL @ you guys dragging me back! Rainbow, sry couldnt chat much before, DH was lying beside me and he doesn't really know I'm an obsessive TTCer

Surprised by how much I want this to work this month! Think I'll try to persuade DH to give it a few months .

CD20. a bit early to symptom spot but I'm still trying :D

mrsdisorganised · 20/04/2009 11:05

Lol at the kicking and screaming too!

Babyblue hope everything is getting better with your fil and that you aren't too stressed.

Kat...well done for your DD, I'd love that for my girls they are very musical, best start for her....still feeling optimistic? Fingers crossed.

Ready hope the party went ok, hate symptom spotting so really feel for you, good luck.

Hi to Scorpio, Rainbow, Heinz and anyone else around

Still sick here, supposed to ease off now Going for my first scan tomorrow and feeling very nervous, stupid thoughts of pessimism......but at least I'll know how it's going after, don't know how my mum coped without scans and that reassurance that hopefully comes with them!

Anyway, really have to tackle my house...still have alot to do and we're all going away for nearly two weeks so theres packing on top.....wish me luck
