TTC #4 and lurking in the shadows really as some people may tut and say surely 3 is enough!

KatB - I think it's a congrats as well, those ebay cheapies are always giving very faint lines, I have a Tesco test going spare but I woukdn't be able to get it to you until Monday.

I swing from have one just now (no AFs though) so they are all close in age DD1 4.6y, DD2 3, DD3 6m or wait until next year oldest 2 in school or the year after 2 in school one in nursery or follow my head, bank account and body and say 3's enough

KatB - huge congratulations , you are pregnant again. Don't worry about the line being faint, all the ebay cheapies stay quite faint for me for weeks. I had a miscarriage at 5 weeks just 4weeks before found preggers with now dc3, who is currently yelling to be picked up,,, will come back later

MrsD - thanks, I just feel a bit rather than needing to rant. I know that it is not over yet. I am not convinced either way, af could arrive or equally be pg, but just don't like the not knowing.

No, I understand felt that the last time I was pg.....each day is so long when you don't know and unfortunately it just takes over your mind.

Morning! KAT, fwiw if you're using e-bay cheapies, even the high sensitivity ones (10iu) the lines don't actually get any darker for me and other people I've spoken to(even when CB digi with concpetion indicator put me at 2-3 weeks pregnant). Congrats again!

Oh thanks for that Diege. That's really useful to know as I would have been panicking if they stayed faint. Haven't done any tests today, had to take my daughter to cross country early this morning and stand in a muddy field for 2 hours - she came 54th LOL. Great fun but we're home now anyway

BOOB I caqn't possibly tell you not to test but I had a few negs before my BFP and it messes with your head so itg's so much better not to. Butg you know that and you'll test anyway - coz we're crazy and like to put ourselves through a bit of drama

well i did and its was a BFN
begining to blame the ebay cheepies now....have a super sensitive one in the draw but will save that until tuesday,not really over dissapointed as the witch is still away if that comes i will cry lol

theboob - sorry , I should not have encouraged early testing, especially when I am no longer early testing but still getting BFN too. I tested with a supersensitive one this morning hoping it would show what the ebay cheapies weren't, but it didnot, at least the ebay cheaps gave me evaporation lines to keep hoping with. The expensive test won't even give me that pleasure LOL

its ok rainbow,im ok with it,i still have a few days but i will prob POAS everyday now lol,with other preg i just tested and tested until i got a bfp or af,never really charted before and only really guessing that i have a 28 day cycle

The boob, I got BFNs up to day 26 when I got a v faint line so don't give up hope! Felt like burning the fecking ebay cheapies at one point.

Oh sweetkitty just noticed you're a microbiologist - that's my fave module at uni (I'm doing biomedical sciences). My dissertation is going to be on antibiotic resistance so might be picking your brains lol

hey KatB I was a microbiologist and any brain I have has shrunk from having too many babies lol, my speciality was food safety so not too hot on antibiotic resistance but could tell you whether to eat that out of date chicken

ebay cheapies are designed to keep us guessing and drive us mad

I had a scare a few weeks back, I had this weird period thing well bleeding for about half a day so took it that AF had returned, then nothing after that, then a few weeks later started to feel sick when brushing my teeth which is one of my "signs" so took a test and it was BFN, DP said isn't there a part of you thats really sad SK, mmm not reallys two babies in a year

I think if it were a contraceptive failure then that would be different but to actively ttc #4 argh!!!

i tested again this morning and there was a very,very faint line
I thought it was just me but DH could see it too,i cant stop looking at it
i will test again this fternoon but i'm going to save my more expensive one for tuesday
