My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

girlwithacurl · 03/12/2008 10:12

Wishing sounds like you are having a really bad time of it hope things start going right for you soon!

I still don't seem to have ovulated... doing the DP so ov testing everyday, on CD18 now! oh well, patience is apparently a virtue, we must all be increadibly virtuous I think

ThePippy · 03/12/2008 11:15

Hey, can I join in? I have been lurking (no, sulking more like) on the miscarriage threads for a while after having a MMC and ERPC back in September, and now after 2 cycles of disapointment I could do with some support! Good luck everyone and congrats to the BFP's for August 2009! I have added me in order of CD number which seemed to be correct??

Good luck ttcers, I had an August baby this year and am very jealous of you all

bubblebell1 · 03/12/2008 11:26

hi girls!!!

still no AF and i didnt bother testing.

so still in limbo..

good luck to all you others

pinkie08 · 03/12/2008 11:27

After trying not to obsess too much i have had the obligatory spotting on CD26 when guess i will be out for an august baby and will move me to the bottom when its here.

I only have one more cycle of clomid pills left so have asked the gynae to refer me to the fertility doctor.

Goodness knows how long that will take to get an appointment and actually go back through the tests and start treatment.

sooo depressing i just feel like giving up

olivo · 03/12/2008 12:03

welcome thepippy! and good luck for this month!
bubble, how totally confusing for you. is it worth visiting the drs?
oh pinkie, sorry to hear about yuor spotting, but don't give up, yuor time will come. we're all here to support you whenever you need it.

Wishing · 03/12/2008 12:03

sorry pinkie!! sending you lots of love!!

noodle congrats on being able to tell dh, i cant wait for that day!!

i have been up all night, cant get comfy at all as i literally full of poo!!! it hurts to try go cos of the piles, but on a positive front nhs direct sdvised it is a very good sign as its high proestrogen levels that are likely to cause constipation - and im usually really really reg so i know its not my diet thats causing the problem!! i still arent getting excited though as i have been here before and they dont seem to want to stick past 5 weeks so i arent repeatedly testing as if the levels of hcg arent detectable its unlikly to stick! so i can just put it down to auntie flos train being delayed!!

im jumping on small ones bandwagon!! im not symptom spotting im too are merely observing!!

i love being a mummy has deffo got a bfp on another thread but i wont move her to the bfp list, feel its something she has to do!! Big congrats love being a mummy when you do log on to this thread - im sending you sticky sticky thoughts!!

good luck today izzy!! sending you sticky thoughts too!

i feel we need some more bfp! good luck everyone!! olivo just bd anyway you never know!!

love to anyone ive missed

Hi
Didn't test this morn as my temp dropped to what it did last month when AF arrived, but as yet no AF & it usually arrives sometime before lunch. I'm feeling very confussed, temp tells me AF should be here, AF is now at least 1 day late maybe 2 & I've felt a little sicky this morning????
I'm scared to test again as it will make me feel shitty all afternoon if its another-ive & will feel stupid that I've wasted another test as temp says I should wait for AF to arrive today...what should I do??? plus I've had a ton of coffee this morning as have been in meetings so any wee I produce for the next couple of hours wouldn't be any good anyway
Think I'll give AF another couple of hours, drink lots of water to filter out the caffine & test later is she doesn't show up....I'll keep you posted

Wishing · 03/12/2008 12:15

hey smileycat, fingers crossed for you!! try wait till morning to test if you can with fmu!!
xxx

olivo · 03/12/2008 13:21

I can see ( in a wapred sort of way!) how lucky i was that last AF arrived before I expected it!it must be a nightmare waiting and not knowing. good luck to all who are hanging on not knowing.
wishing- have you tried fybogel? pretty grim but sorted me out last month!

olivo · 03/12/2008 13:21

wapred? of course, i meant warped !!

girlwithacurl · 03/12/2008 13:22

Hi Smilycat yes, wait until tomorrow if you can, it's hard I know!
Pinkie, don't give up, I know its really hard but it will be harder in the long run if you do!
Sorry bubble and wishing... does anyone else feel like we deserve some good news... come on someone, cheer us up with something good!

Wishing · 03/12/2008 15:09

Thanks Girlwithcurl

I am just on a downer today will be ok tomorrow am sure.

we werent even "trying" its just become more obvious as the months go on that its not going to happen without effort and thats been made even harder with the clomid.

Anyway lots of luck to all the others up for testing.

I have moved over to the sept thread as am sure its over for me

spats · 03/12/2008 17:22

I am thinking of all og you who are due AF, its a horrible time, is it or isn't it coming yuck. I went to have my 22 day blood test today so wait the result and have my day 2-5 blood booked for the week after so i will see if i am OK. Also i have my laptop back horray so i can log into mumsnet every day again horray!! wishing did you find a website which explains all the hormolnes and what comes where? x

smallone · 03/12/2008 17:30

Hi everyone, Welcome thepippy, always happy to have another cycle buddy.

I'm feeling very hormonal today, getting really worked up over stupid little things. (merely an observation )

Just to reassure us all, my friend who is pg went for her scan yesterday thinking she was 11+4 weeks and they've told her she's 8 weeks! Now she was temping so she knows when she was ov. WTF? So it just goes to show that female bodies vs medical testing are not a good combination!

Wishing · 03/12/2008 20:01

ive had a look at a few spats but any more would be much appreciated!!

xxx

smallone · 03/12/2008 20:39

Now please tell me if I'm imagining bfps but didn't trying4tallulah get one? Sorry if I've missed something. Baby dust to us all x

HeadFairy · 03/12/2008 21:36

Hello everyone, just checking in after a few days with no internet.

A million congrats babybump, so glad you finally had your bfp confirmed. All pg tests test for hCG which your body only produces in pregnancy i think, so even if you get a faint bfp and then a bfn with another test, for the first test to have registered any hcg means you're pg in my book!

How did the IUI go Issy? I don't know how it works, do they tell you there and then if they think they've been successful or do you have to just hope and join us on the 2ww?

Smallone, I'm sure trying4tallulah was a bfp a week or so ago. Ah you see, you get your bfp and you forget us poor souls on the ttc boards

Wishing, you're being very cool, I would have tested by now for sure, I'm mrs regular (apart from last month but that was first af post mc) so as soon as I get to cd 30 I'm peeing on those sticks! Hope the constipation is a good sign (if a little irrtating )

I'm not symptom spotting at all (lalalalaa puts fingers in ears), those funny pains of a few days ago have gone now. Just the odd crampy feeling for an hour or so. Nothing more. Today out walking in the park with ds my left nipple was agony in the cold, which is what happened when I was pg last time. I went skiing when I was 15 weeks and it got so bad on the ski lift I had to get one of those gel hot packs on to my nipple But of course, none of this means anything, I'm not symptom spotting honest guv!

I hope everyone else is well, and not too fed up of this ttc treadmill

xx

Issy42 · 03/12/2008 23:09

Thanks everyone for the good wishes.

Welcome ThePippy - sorry you had mmc and ERPC .

Headfairy you sound like me when I'm 'not' symptom spotting . They do sound hopeful though. IUI is just sperm (selected as being the best) placed directly into the womb - basically a glorified turkey baster. It would be great if they could tell straight away but I'm afraid it's the 2ww for me now. The only possible indication is that the hcg injection gives you false positives (strictly speaking for up to 3 weeks so really I'm on a 3ww) but in practice I've always found that I get a negative test 10 days after the injection, except one time when it stayed positive for an extra 3 days went negative for two then positive again. AF arrived the next day on schedule but think (and nurse agreed) that was a very early mc.

Wishing - hope you're feeling better. Be careful if you're using laxatives, I think it's the senna-based ones that you shouldn't use if ttc.

Glad to see you're back spats. Good luck with tomorrow's test smileycat. Sorry you think you're out Pinkie.

Good luck everyone xx

RipMacWinkle · 04/12/2008 08:54

Morning all - have updated this list for today.

I think we should definitely have had some news (either way?) from those at the top of the list. I'm guessing they haven't been on recently?

Anyway, hope we have more good news over this weekend. I'm uber crampy so think af is definitely on her way. Have the Ben and Jerrys on standby. Trying not to get too down until she arrives but it's hard. It's pretty much all i'm thinking about these days. It's not healthy.

Good luck all!

p.s. I've tried every way but I just can't get all teh BFPs to show bold. I'm such a technophobe. sorry for jiggling the list around but everyone should still be on it!
