Hi wondered if any one else was aiming for an August baby and fancied joining me this month to pass the time. This will be our 3rd cycle of TTC now and im on CD1 but staying positive.

My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

Congratulations NeevyWeevy . So happy for you. Sending lots of babydust for a sticky bean.

Thanks everyone for the kind messages. Am starting to veer towards IVF but still keep changing my mind every few minutes. Sunnydale - you're not the first person to recommend the Guardian, but I'm a very wary person due to something which happened in my past and only date people who are friends of friends. Probably why I'm still single!

olivo · 18/12/2008 19:25

I've just tested and ...BFP!

NewhereHelp · 18/12/2008 19:54

olivio congratulations

Lots more BFP's please!

I'm 4 days late now, boobs hurt and nipples really sore, had a little spotting on CD27 too (hoping implantation bleed), feeling pants too but that might be the bug that's going round!!!!

Too scared to test, want it too much now

NewhereHelp · 18/12/2008 19:56

Neevy sorry just read your good news too, keep them coming

olivo · 18/12/2008 19:58

thanks newhere. go on, test...

NewhereHelp · 18/12/2008 20:13

Too scared seriously might leave it til after xmas, had a bit of cramping at the begining of the week so AF might just be lazy (am usually dead on 28 days) - I have had a lot of stress this month too, DPs Ex's giving me hassle and my Ex DH too, all sorts of rubbish stuff!

Sorry, just not sure I can handle anymore just now (but am excited too - I know I never make sense!)

Really happy for everyone else though

olivo · 18/12/2008 20:28

can't blame you, you sound like you have enough on yuor plate at the mo. fingers crossed for you

NewhereHelp · 18/12/2008 20:37

Thanks O, hopefully be joining you on pregnancy thread soon

bluesatinsash · 18/12/2008 20:38

CONGRATULATIONS olivo and neevy!!! I've been lurking hoping for more good news. newherehelp - sending lots of babydust your way.

Sorry to read about the BFNs and AF rearing her ugly head especially izzy.. Headfairy - I was so wishing you would be moving across to the ante-natal as your posts are fantastic - boo.

HeadFairy · 18/12/2008 23:17

Aw, bless you bluesatin... I hope to see you in there soon. I'm due to ov on Christmas day, so going to wrap myself up with a ribbon and big bow and put myself under the tree for dh

Actually have a big dilemma, we'll be staying at my mum and dad's on Christmas night with ds in a travel cot in the same room as us. Now question is, is it a terrible thing to bd with ds sleeping in a travel cot in the same room? I'm hoping we'll manage at least a couple of romps before Christmas day too, but I had hoped to do 23rd - 27th as a shag fest. What would everyone else do?

I've posted on the other thread, but a million congrats Olivo and Neevy!!!! That's such great news, this thread has been very lucky hasn't it? Let's hope the luck carries on!

Issy42 · 19/12/2008 01:40

Congrats Olivo

Thanks bluesatin

Good luck when you take that test NewHere

Sans04 · 19/12/2008 04:58

NewhereHelp hopfully you going to get BFP soon fingers crossed for you.
baby dust to all of you.

girlwithacurl · 19/12/2008 09:24

Congratulations olivio and Neevy from me too! Hopeing for some more before xmas as well!

Sunnydale · 19/12/2008 22:44

Congratulations Olivo and Neevy - this has been such a lucky thread! You make it seem so easy! How long have you been trying, I can't remember. It gives me hope!

Headfairy I totally sympathise - I have exactly the same "problem" as my next fertile cycle should coincide with the exact four days I'm visiting the in-laws. DD also would be sharing our room. I actually don't think I could BD with DD in the room, but that's just personal. Go for it if you can - we've all gotta do what we've gotta do!

Right, off to the September thread - see some of you there xx

HomeintheSun · 21/12/2008 19:29

Where's everybody gone? Just thought I'd pop in and say congratulations to Olivo and Neevy many more to come I hope. I've just been on the Boots wed site they have 20% off clearblue pregnancy and ovulation tests. Good luck to everyone, I'm off to the September thread as I've just been kidding myself that I'll have an August baby and I have no chance. (not August 09 anyway)

LJ29 · 04/01/2009 20:33

Hi Ladies, although I've missed the boat for an August baby, I just wanted to share with you that I think I just got my BFP!!! I did it at about 20.15 so not FMU and it was a cheapie test but two clear lines although the test line is much fainter than the control line (still a positive I think?)

Going to do a First Response in the morning but now have a whole mixture of feeling dizzy with excitement and scared incase it doesn't stick.

Issy42 · 04/01/2009 23:45

Congratulations LJ, fantastic news . I'm sure you'll get it confirmed in the morning. As long as the line is the same colour as the test line (i.e. not grey) then it's a positive according to the peeonastick website. Sending you lots of babydust for a sticky bean.

olivo · 05/01/2009 08:49

well done LJ, i'm thrilled for you. a same colour line is definitely a +.
good luck and take it easy.
