Hi wondered if any one else was aiming for an August baby and fancied joining me this month to pass the time. This will be our 3rd cycle of TTC now and im on CD1 but staying positive.

My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

oh oh oh and..... (can you tell I'm excited?) it's all bringing back memories of when I got my first bfp, my hand was shaking so much when I showed dh the stick he couldn't read it, he had to hold my hand. I was sobbing like a baby

Sunnydale · 29/11/2008 23:01

Babybump! So so happy for you! Your news has cheered me up after Ruth being voted off the X Factor! (to be superficial for a moment, heh heh). Time to update the list methinks - hope this will continue to be a lucky thread! Right, time to drag DH away from Match of the Day to do some BD-ing. Would love to try to seduce him, but bit tricky with father in law sitting with flies undone and mother in law asking for some Gaviscon. Who said romance was dead, eh?! Many congrats again, Babybump xxx

RipMacWinkle · 29/11/2008 23:03

Sunnydale - LOL!! You have such a way with words. The visual image you've just created!!!!

HeadFairy · 29/11/2008 23:07

sunnydale

Now this is definitely tmi, but hey... dh is always very quiet in the sack, even at his moment of "triumph". I was a bit nervous about mentioning it when we first got together but eventually he explained it's because after his mum and dad divorced he lived in a flat with his mum, her room was the other side of the wall to his bedroom and whenever he'd had whichever girlfriend of the day round, he'd had to be so quiet it had become habit. You'd better start practising the "your ILs are in the next room" method of bd'ing

BabyBump2B · 29/11/2008 23:16

ripMacWinkle, Headfairy, Sunnydale - thank you so much.

And Sunnydale you do have a way with words! Good luck - I think this is a very lucky thread!

{Sprinkles sticky baby dust everywhere!}

trying4tallulah · 30/11/2008 09:11

I got my BFP this morning - very excited, a lovely ealry Christmas pressie. Now just need to think of lots of excuses as to why I wont be drinking in the next few weeks (most unlike me!!! Good luck to everyone still in the 2WW x x x

RipMacWinkle · 30/11/2008 09:20

Oh my goodness - that's brilliant trying4tallulah.

We're really racking up these BFPs now - will there be any babydust left for me Rip wails?!?

Just wondering - according to the list you're still early. Did you use a First Response or a usual test? Just wondering if it's worth getting one in today for next weekend....

trying4tallulah · 30/11/2008 09:24

First response, it actually showed a very feint line yesterday (5 days before AF due) but I did not really believe it until this mornings which was a definate line!!

Have been pregnant twice before I had a feeling I was pregnant - I burst into tears on Friday for no reason at all! I knew there was something going on with my hormones!!

olivo · 30/11/2008 09:25

Congratulations babybump! so glad you went for that digital! Here's to a happy and healthy pg for you.

ANd to you to trying4tallulah - yuo'd better start practising the 'I'm on antibiotics' ine

Liahgen, so sorry, take care of yourself.

Well, while you lot were chatting last night, i was starting this month's bd marathon. Oh, and getting depressed after reading another thread about c-secs and fertility . anyone got some positive stories about ttc after a c-sec? NO one mentioned that to me after I'd had dd.(saying that, I wouldnt have had dd if I hadn't had a c-sec, we nearly lost her, so I am eternally grateful to those drs.)
sorry to dampen the mood.
lol at you lot and your tv - i'm jealous, i never get time! must go and do some work, dh has taken dd out so i can catch up and he'll kill me if he know's i'm on MN!

bubblebell1 · 30/11/2008 09:49

wow 2 more bfps!! congrats trying and baby.

AF still hasnt arrived and yesterday the test was BFN. im confused and bewildered. maybe i didnt ovulate??? do you think if i just bd everyother day i mite get pregnant in my next cycle without having af? or do you think i should stop trying other until af arrives??

olivo whats that about cs and fertility? i had a cs with ds2. he was 10lb2 and breech. do you think that mite make a dif to wether i concieve or not?

how are all you other ladies?

good luck issy

bubblebell1 · 30/11/2008 10:00

How long does the depo injection take to leave your system?

smileycat · 30/11/2008 10:22

Big huge congratulations baby & tying fantastic news. I had a slight temp drop this morning so feeling a little down today Oh well only only another 1 or 2 days before I know for definate
Have a lovely lazy Sunday everyone

olivo · 30/11/2008 10:28

hi bubble, i don't know about the depo i'm afraid. It must be so confusing to have neither AF or a BFP. i hope you get one or the other soon. is it worth a dr visit? If you have the patience/ stamina / time, i would continue to BD as much as you can.

i didn't mean to scaremonger about the CS. i just picked up on a thread last night where someone had asked about it and it made me do a bit of reading. i think it depends on whether you had infection after your CS, or whether you conceive and it tried to implant where your scar is. The things i read implied that you could have a bit more trouble conceiving. HOWEVER, there were plenty of success stories ( and few negative ones!) so lets try not to worry - we've got enough on our plates!!off for some grapefruit juice......

olivo · 30/11/2008 10:28

oh, smiley, sorry to hear that. let us know and rememebr we're here to listen. take care.

bubblebell1 · 30/11/2008 10:36

thanks olivo i can remember i had an infection in my wound but nothing major. i read the thread and there were more positive stories so not too worried.

i am going to visit the dr this week. im also goin to bd as much as pos and just test at 4 weekly intervals.. im confused as i have never had problems before. i just hope im reading too far into things and af comes soon.

HomeintheSun · 30/11/2008 11:34

Just logged on this morning/afternoon (my tunr to sleep in today) Congratulations Babybump2b and trying4tallulah I can't believe how lucky this thread is, I hope there's plenty more BFPs to come, it makes me smile everytime I read one, well done.

SuziBhoy · 30/11/2008 12:29

WOW congrats babybump and tryingfor tallulah, pass the luck

bubble Im in the exact same position as you, not sure what else to do. i know if i go to doc he will do test, say its negative, then tell me to go home and wait for AF lol. What a nightmare, i will test again thursday morning (before im off to ireland for a break), if its BFN then i will put it out my mind and hopefully AF arrives. Hope you get answers

liahgen so sorry you are leaving, hope you get what you want in the future.
