My details are

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

Hiya, sorry I've been absent for so long, been off work (I only really get a chance to come online when I'm at work or dh is watching footy - champions league tonight )

congratulations to noodle and bellaharry, that's such good news! Looks like this month could be a bumper one

Well it's cd 14 for me tomorrow so the shagging starts here Dh has been off work with a cold for a couple of days so I've been extra attentive, taking care of him so he can get his strength up We haven't been able to follow the deanna plan this month as he was really ill from cd8 onwards, but as I managed to conceive twice before by having lots of sex from cd 14 onwards, hopefully it'll work this time. I've stocked up on grapefruit juice too [bleurgh!] Fingers crossed.

Take care everyone, keep those bfp's coming

ilikeyoursleeves · 25/11/2008 20:45

Congrats to all the recent BFPs and I'm sorry AF has found her way to some of you too. Issy, I hope you are bearing up alright today, it must be a difficult day for you.

Nice to hear from you Wishing, I am feeling quite chilled out this month too but that's cos I don't know when I ov'd so don't know if we BD'd at the right time ie very much doubt I'm pregnant. But there is always that little voice in my mind that says 'what if....?'

So CD 34 for me today. Will see what tomorrow brings. Wish me lots of luck!

LollysMum1 · 25/11/2008 21:13

Hello, just a quick update from me. Nothing too exciting except that my fertility monitor is measuring "high" for the last 2 mornings so BDing has officially begun! Strange spotting has been going on since about last Thurs, mentioned it to the doctor who is not overly concerned as he thinks things are a bit confused as I probably didn't ovulate last month. All a bit weird and I just want to have a normal cycle again, whatever that is! Anyway whether or not it works this month, I'm finding having the knowledge that I am approaching ovulation quite reassuring.

Congratulations to all the BFPs. Crossing everything that I may be joining you soon...

Issy42 · 26/11/2008 00:57

Congratulations BellaHarry - brilliant news .

Noodle - I don't think you need to worry about how to tell your husband, that big grin you will be wearing will give it away .

Thanks Homeinthesun, bubblebell, wishing, bluesatinsash, evie, noodle, BabyBump2B, olivo and sleeves (sorry if I've missed anyone) for all the hugs and kind words. As I left work yesterday I mentioned to someone that I was really glad noone had bought a newborn in (lots of people on maternity at mo) as it would have made me cry and then today there were two in and I didn't cry at all, so that was very close timing! I did turn down the offer to hold one of the babies though as I didn't trust myself not to cry if I had.

Good luck for testing on Friday bexaa. Glad you're not symptom spotting wishing, was beginning to think you were about a week ago, so well done. Enjoy the next few days Headfairy and LollysMum .

Sorry AF arrived Suzi and sorry you got a BFN BabyBump2B, hope AF stays away.

Sans04 · 26/11/2008 03:57

Hello
big congratulation noodle12 and Bella grat news hope you both get a healthy and comfotable pregnancy all the way through.
bexa hold on there, there is still hope
Suzi BabyBump2B sorry that you feel down i hope you get lucky next cycle.
wishing it's great that you're not symptom spotting.
I think I am out for august baby too, Its my cd28 and tested yesterday BFN, and all the symptoms of AF is here I don't know why she's hiding and not coming, I feel so down don't know what to do just cring, and fell so angry even DH said that he can't even talk to me I think that I will end up at the mentalty hospital anyway. all the best luck for all beautifull ladies on this thread hope everyone get BFP this month, a big huge baby dust to everyone.

bubblebell1 · 26/11/2008 08:23

morning ladies!

WELL.......... still no AF and still no BFP

i too feel like af should be here but there is no sign.

TMI alert!! do you girls normally get more cm before af is due? just that i seem to be in ample supply of that and no af

im out for an august baby too but can i please stay here?? you lot are luvly

fingers crossed af arrives so i can start again.

mummy2t · 26/11/2008 08:40

hi, going to add myself, but whats the CD stand for??

olivo · 26/11/2008 08:46

bubble- .... but you HAVE to stay here with us!
issy, it sounds like you did really well with the babies around you, can't imagine how difficult that must have been.
bexxa - really hope it works out for you, good luck.

well, my cold seems to be 'coming out' so to speak, so hopefully i'll feel a bit more like bding by the end of the week. dh is in a foul mood though as dd has been up during the night every night for the last week and then up at 5.30. I'm shattered too. on the plus side, i read somewhere that the cough medicine i've been taking can increase your CM, so i may keep taking it!!
looking forward to some more good news from this thread soon!

olivo · 26/11/2008 08:47

sans, good luck to you too. maybe AF will stay away?

girlwithacurl · 26/11/2008 09:43

Bubble are you sure you ov'd this month, perhaps you are ov'ing really late, that happened to me last month. Have you done a opk test thingy (v. scientific i know!)
Anyway stay here with us, the water is warm and I will make you all a cocktail (with grapefruit juice of course )

ilikeyoursleeves · 26/11/2008 11:55

OMG OMG OMG OMG

I can't believe what I am about to type.....

It's a BFP!

For those of you who don't know my history, we TTC for 5 years and then had to have IVF to have DS. We were 'loosely' TTC as we had agreed to go for a frozen embryo transfer next Feb, I have been starting to wean DS of the breastmilk to prepare my body for the FET.

Today is CD 35 and I thought we had BD'd at all the wrong times this month. I hardly had any EWCM (I usually have lots) so I had pretty much written this month off. Today and yesterday I felt a bit icky but put that down to being back at work and still being a little anxious. I took today off as DS has a really bad cold and cough so I didn't want to put him in nursery, and again I felt a bit 'odd'- I put it down to nerves of kind of pulling a sicky. I had one HPT in the house and did it this morn and the cross is so dark!

I went up to the GPs to have it confirmed to make sure I wasn't dreaming, and it's another BFP!

OMG I am in total shock.

Best wishes to all those testing soon

girlwithacurl · 26/11/2008 11:59

Thats great news ilikeyoursleeves gives hope to us all!

smileycat · 26/11/2008 12:17

ilikeyoursleeves fantastic news well done you & after such a wait you must be over the moon

bubblebell1 · 26/11/2008 12:30

WOW ilikeyoursleeves im so pleased for you. thats brilliant news

girl, i am starting to think i got it wrong this month too. i didnt use opks i just went with the pains and ewcm.

at playgroup this morn my friend said she had the same thing when she ttc her last dc, bfn when she first tested the day after af was due then week a later a bfp. (does that make sense)

i know im not pregnant. i just want af to get her visit over and done with so i can try again asap

bubblebell1 · 26/11/2008 12:33

hi mummy

cd stands for cycle day. cd1 is the first day of your last period.

hope this helped

evie2000 · 26/11/2008 13:49

ilike fantastic fantastic news -well done you.
hugs to everyone else. I think I have PMT - feel rotten and like I want to shoot someone so assume that's the problem. desperately trying not to think about it.

HomeintheSun · 26/11/2008 14:55

Congratulations to all the BFPers! I do like it when they start rolling in!

headfairy I think we may be leading some sort of double life! We're cycle buddys and DH has also been ill. Im trying the Deanna plan (ish, not forking out on opks!) managed it cd8 but since then DH has been too feeble. Did manage to convince him last night, (had ewcm) but not sure if he can manage tonight aswell, poor lamb! Unfortunately I'm not very sympathetic, don't think he quite realises how much ttc affects me.

Got a fasting blood test tomorrow am for diabetes and coeliac disease, not sure if its legal for me to drive before my morning cuppa! I've heard coeliac disease can cause lowered fertility, does anyone know anything?

NewhereHelp · 26/11/2008 17:30

suzibhoy - really sorry, can't be trusted with the list

olivo · 26/11/2008 18:00

Ilikeyoursleeves - congratulations!!. \best of luck with everything.

evie2000 · 26/11/2008 18:04

I keep meaning to add myself on so here goes - hope i've got it right.
The countdown very much in earnest here but frankly feeling so p...d off which I assume PMT so not holding out much hope.
Love hearing of the good news. fingers cross for everyone at the top of the list and good humour to all those around the bding stage! Damn the men with their excuses of why they can't whenever we want!!
