Hi wondered if any one else was aiming for an August baby and fancied joining me this month to pass the time. This will be our 3rd cycle of TTC now and im on CD1 but staying positive.

My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

congrats Bella and Noodle Bella did the test turn +ive quickly with a dark line? I thought the quicker and darker the line appears the more pg hormones whooshing around.
Issy thinking of you on this difficult day.
Good luck to everyone testing soon.

NewhereHelp · 25/11/2008 11:03

What is happening with the list toppers? Suzibhoy have you tested today?

All very exciting, looks like a good thread to be part of .

Congrats to all BFPs .

keep smiling!

SuziBhoy · 25/11/2008 11:09

hey newherehelp no not testing today. only got one test left so thought i would just wait to see if AF arrives. If it hasnt by friday then i will test again. I have courage i know lol

NewhereHelp · 25/11/2008 11:18

Suzibhoy - wow I am impressed, don't know how you can wait! Will keep checking for news

btw - can anyone tell me how much grapefruit juice I should drink?

spats · 25/11/2008 12:10

no laptop so haven't logged in for ages, but i am still around and BD ing. Doing Dp which is horrid, i really am not in the modd to BD on CD8 , i need nice hormones to kick in before i enjoy BD, so if this doesn't work this month i am not trying it again!! Haven't got time to read last week of post but congrats to those with BFP. I will hopefully have laptop back next week so willbe logging back in daily. I do miss MN amazing how much you rely on these chats. love to you all x

BellaHarry · 25/11/2008 12:15

homeinthesun The test started turning immediatly it was unbelievably quick and then just got darker and darker!!!!

bubblebell1 · 25/11/2008 12:34

issy big hugs coming to you.

xxx

smileycat · 25/11/2008 12:38

Bella when I was pg with my ds I tested the day AF was due or it may have been the day after, DH said pee on the stick then we will both not look at it for the 3 minutes so that it has time to work & we can see it together, before I'd even finished peeing on the stick it had turned & I had a deep dark line........maybe its boy hormones, don't really know but they could be stronger than girls, silly question but if you had the choice what would you rather have boy or girl?

BellaHarry · 25/11/2008 13:03

Smileycat and Bubble thank you for filling me with confidence I'm starving right now and keep getting really thirsty!! I always thought I wanted a boy first but was playing with my friends girl at weekend and thought it might be nice to have a little girly girl...who knows so long as its healthy! x

Wishing · 25/11/2008 13:23

good luck for friday bexaa

evie2000 · 25/11/2008 16:16

great news about the BFPs - fabulous excitement - congratulations, enjoy every moment.
SOrry to hear of your tough day Issy - but hugs and strength to you.
Liaghen, hugs to you - what difficult times it must be. I hope you're ok.

AND to all those with AF - bugger it bugger it but fingers crossed for next month,
and for those of us on the 2 ww - I should wait until sunday to test. I, like so many of us, want it so badly and feel quite sick about thought of another bfn so am attempting to resist...so sending you all courage and patience!

noodle12 · 25/11/2008 16:42

Hi girls.

Many thanks for all your congrats and really, really sorry you had a tough day yesterday Issy.

Reread my quick post from yesterday and hope I didn't offend anyone who has had a BFN. I don't want to sound too excited because I know from experience it can be difficult to hear when you've just had a BFN. But I also know that with every BFP posted it made me more optimistic (can't spell). So here's to all those still waiting to test and those going for next month NEVER GIVE UP HOPE! Miracles DO happen!

As I said at mum and dad's on holiday (I'm 39 but feel like I'm 15 again this week!!!) DH not here as working and won't see him til Friday at the airport... Ideas please for how to break the news to him!

Take care everyone and extra babydust from me xxx

spats · 25/11/2008 17:03

oh wishing you sound so chilled this month its lovely to see. No symptom spotting horray!!

HomeintheSun · 25/11/2008 17:08

noodle get a white T-shirt to wear and using fabric paint write on there something like I've got a sticky bean in my belly, or congratulations Daddy to be. I'm so excited for you. When I got pregnant with DS I tried to tell everyone in different ways to see their reactions.

SuziBhoy · 25/11/2008 17:17

well everyone im out this month.... AF just arrived, which is strange as it normally arrives in the morning!! but im gonna stay on this thread for next month aswell if no one minds??!!

BabyBump2B · 25/11/2008 17:19

BellaHarry - Fab news - congratulations!

Issy - Sorry about your rubbish day...

Noodle - I think you should get him a book like "Fatherhood Survival Guide" or something dad related and surprise him with it! So exciting!

So I tested this morning. BFN. Gutted. Now just waiting for the evil aunt to show up. So... for those of us left are we going to create a new "September" thread?

HomeintheSun · 25/11/2008 17:28

I'm on cd23, my cycle is from 27-34 days I think I ovulated around cd14 when should I test, should I just wait and see if the witch turns up or test on Friday?

olivo · 25/11/2008 17:50

hello everyone, good to hear from you all.

liahgen, i hope you make a decision that is right for you both, good luck.
issy, sorry that yesterday was such a hard day for you.hope you were ok.
bellaharry - congratulatons!! hope you have a healthy and comfortable pg
suzi - to hear AF arrived, but come and join us at the bottom of the list - this could still be our month.

smileycat · 25/11/2008 18:42

Noddles buy a big cuddly soft teddy & tie a blue & pink ribbon round its neck & wiggle it in his face when he comes out of arrivals
