Hi wondered if any one else was aiming for an August baby and fancied joining me this month to pass the time. This will be our 3rd cycle of TTC now and im on CD1 but staying positive.

My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Please feel free to add yourself to the list, I would love some company.

Morning everyone! Congrats special and blue!

Glad to hear you are sticking with this thread Olivio, Very and Neevy I need the company down at the bottom

My brother and sister in law announced their "news" yesterday, got pg on their honeymoon first time of trying. Really trying to be happy for them, but its hard when a year later we are still not there, also my bro was totally insensitive and all he said to me was "are you still trying"... like we thought, oh you know what this is all a bit much like hard work, lets not bother after all . I feel worse as I nearly missed the wedding because of the MC, which they knew about... and my cycle hasn't really settled down yet. Still I have a good feeling about this month. Pregnacare, temp charting and Deanna's plan here I come!

Oh Suzi - I've got absolutely everything crossed for you. Here's hoping that af stays away you're our lucky number 3.

BabyBump2B · 24/11/2008 18:54

Girlwithacurl - how insensitive of your bro. I'm sorry to hear that!

Smileycat - arrrg! I'm with you - trying really hard to be patient but its not easy.

So I broke down and decided to pee on a stick this morning and... the bloody stick was a dud! No test line at all. So I tried another one I had from the same batch (bought online) and it was a dud too!

I'm not sure its a good sign when you can't even get a test line!

bubblebell1 · 24/11/2008 18:56

oh suzi im the same.... still no af but bfns when i test.

i have everything crossed for you? let me know how u get on

SuziBhoy · 24/11/2008 19:01

hey bubble will deffo let you know. I havent tested since the first one the other day. used the clear blue digital, what a waste of money lol, using the chepos now. when you next testing? fingers crossed

how is everyone doing?

bubblebell1 · 24/11/2008 19:18

suzi i tested this morning and it was a bfn so im going to try again tomorrow. if af hasnt arrived by thurs then i will retest then.

i really dont know what to make of the whole situation? dont know how many months i can take of late periods and bfns

SuziBhoy · 24/11/2008 19:25

sorry to hear that bubble, it does drive you up the wall but even though we are getting BFN's, not having AF gives us some hope... so fingers crossed

ive never actually had a cycle this long

noodle12 · 24/11/2008 19:47

VERY quick post as at my parents on hols so sneaked online... JUST GOT A BFP!!! Am in shock! Here's to loads of luck to everyone else. I was SURE it would be a BFN.
Gotta go will be back tomorrow.

olivo · 24/11/2008 19:54

OMG - noodle! congratulations
I'm so pleased for you. wishing you a happy and safe pg.

smileycat · 24/11/2008 19:57

noddle I'm so happy for you, well done how can you contain your excitment with your parents there

olivo · 24/11/2008 20:00

bubble and suzi, fingers crossed for you both.

I am feeling rough today, full of cold and what might be a chest infection. I don't want to go to the drs as I guess we shouldn't ttc if i am on antibiotics? Hoping i might be able to shake it off, and am at acupuncture on wednesday so that might help.

BabyBump2B · 24/11/2008 20:03

Noodle - hooray! Thats brilliant news - congrats!

bluesatinsash · 24/11/2008 20:59

Congratulations noodle - fabulous news!!!

Suzi - fingers and toes crossed for you

I feel some more BFPs coming soon....

ilikeyoursleeves · 24/11/2008 22:19

Hi all!

Sorry I've been AWOL most of this month but that's maybe been a good thing for me cos I usually obsess around this time! I just realised I am on CD33 but I am quite chilled out this month as I don't think we did the deed at the right time at all (well, I didn't get any EWCM so I haven't a clue when I OV'd) so I'm not convinved I am PG at all. I will keep you updated anyway! Good luck to all!

NewhereHelp · 24/11/2008 22:35

This is fantastic , then there were three - it seems like ages to get to bd days let alone the 2ww that follows (she says trying her best to understand the lingo).

I have learnt so much here already and you can really feel the positivity it's great.

Fingers crossed for lots more BFPs (there I go again!).

Keep smiling!

liahgen · 24/11/2008 23:22

well long time no see. My bloody internet has been down,so been away for most of the month.

Was appropriately busy at right time but feel af coming along. Gave in tested this morning, and bfn with first response early so obviously a no for me now. (usually very accure early for me this test)

Am seriosly depressed now as seems it might have been my last chance.

Dh announces the other night, he's not really sure he wants another one now. We are skint due to a huge tax bill hitting us earlier this year and we argue constantly over money. PRobably just as well really if we constantly bickering.

I'm 42 now so i said to him, he has to organise to get the snip then but am sooo fed up about it, I can't tell you.

Should be grateful, I've got 5 gorgeous healthy kids and some people don't have that ever but there's this huge great hole inside of me, that i have no control over. I am absolutely torn up over him saying that.

Huge congratulations to all the bfps, and fingers crossed to all waiting. I'll probably lurk a bit, see how you all get on, but i'm out.

Issy42 · 25/11/2008 00:28

Congratulations Noodle .

Liahgen - I hope it was just too early and you still get your BFP.

Good luck everyone about to test and sorry for those who have got AF.

I've had a bit of a tough one today as was the day the baby I miscarried in March was due. At least it's one of the horrible hurdles I was dreading over.

girlwithacurl · 25/11/2008 09:20

Yehay Noodle!!! that's brilliant news!!

smileycat · 25/11/2008 09:25

Liahgen sorry to hear AF could be on her way, if you really do feel you have a hole that can only be filled by another child you should sit down & talk it through with DH, I'm sure if he knew how you were feeling deep deep down he would want to make you happy, money is never right but you do get by, big hug to you (((---)))

BellaHarry · 25/11/2008 09:48

I just got a BFP!!!! Has anyone heard of this being wrong? It was a vary dark line!!!?

SuziBhoy · 25/11/2008 10:15

omg congrats noodle and bella, so pleased for you. pass the luck on

hello to everyone who has returned from being away for a while, the thread has livened up now

sorry to hear your news liahgen, and you shouldnt feel selfish for having kids but wanting more. If you want more kids then this should be an exciting time for you.

olivo thanks for the wishes, hope you feel better. im also loaded with the flu or something, hoping it is just me feeling crap due to pregnancy

going to wait until end of week to see if AF arrives (only got one test left)

girlwithacurl · 25/11/2008 10:25

Brilliant news Bella... they are coming thick and fast now!
Why do you think it might be wrong? Believe in the line!

BellaHarry · 25/11/2008 10:28

Girlwithacurl I just want it so bad and stumbled across a thread where a girl said she got a + then doc said it was -!!??? Please no!!
