Hi wondered if any one else was aiming for an August baby and fancied joining me this month to pass the time. This will be our 3rd cycle of TTC now and im on CD1 but staying positive.

My details are

Gemma C, TTC#2, usual cycle length 28-32 days, cd1

Only on CD24 but in danger of repeating last months testing too early. Did one this am and a BFN although hoping it's just cos I'm too early.

Had what felt like reallly bad period pain this am too so don't know if they are about to appear..... time will tell!

I've been out and got more OPKs, pregnacare conception vits and loads of grapefruit juice. oh, and a new battery for my thermometer!! I'm leaving nothing to chance, me! Thank goodness Boots had a special offer weekend on!

AF just arrived I know ttc is a tricky process but I actually convinced myself that because i used the ovulation predictor tests and babydanced for 2 weeks solid (im still knackered lol) I would be pregnant! Anyway i suppose what will be will be! Im gonna stay on this thread do you think I might still make it into august?? im going to put me at the bottom of the list! xx

2manychips - have you tested? I have read many times that sometimes AF arrives even though your pg as there is still Af hormones in your system... Some poor souls get AF throughout their pregnancies..

VKFAB, neevy, olivo sorry to read about AF rearing her head.

specialoffer - I won't be joining the ante-natal club just yet. The memory of having to bow out of April 09 is still too fresh. I will be lurking though .

2manychips - i agree with bluesatinsash that you ought to test just in case. my sister thought she'd had AF but it was a bleed when she would have had AF and she was actually pg. it is something about the AF hormones 'over-riding' the pg ones ( sorry, i am not a scientist!!{grin])

2 years ago i found out i was pg on the day boden sale started and also i passed my driving test. and my little boy is sleeping peacefully in his bed now.
god bless you. babies are lovely and they are the best present in the whole world. have you xmas presents.

noodle12 yes you'r right I agree, but I am a bit confused, as I don't have sore boobs as usual before af and no tummy ache or crumpb, but still in my heart I don't feel that I am pg I don't know why?

so sorry VKFAB, neevy, olivo and all the other that got af, but just think and hope that there is always next month I now saying that is easier.

Way-hey! So, so SO happy for you both Bluesatinsash and Specialoffer - hadn't checked thread for a coupla days and it was so great to hear some positive news. For those whose AF has recently arrived: sorry to hear it, but please stay on the August thread, it would be sad for you to go! Also, I guess babies can come early as well as late (esp second / third babies) so you could still easily squeeze one out in August!

I have updated the list to include more info on myself: hope nobody minds but although I only have one DC, I've put TTC#3 as it feels kinda wrong not including the other conception, even though it didn't make it. Hope that makes sense to some of you, if not all...

Morning all! Haven't been in here for a bit lots seems to have happened! I'm poorly today sniffles and sicky. Reckon I'm 4 dpo and in that annoying waiting stage..trawling the internet for REALLY early signs of pregnancy realistically I've just got to wait right??

You all know / do so much more than me!! I have 2 teenage kids and they just sort of happened - don't know anything about temps / OPKs / Grapefruit juice - does this not just make it all a little more stressy?

I have been taking folic acid though, DP and I currently live over 2 hrs apart so we only get weekends really, although in a lucky twist that is always cd13 & 14 - I also just happen to be stopping in a hotel not too far away on Wednesday (CD10) - you never know eh!

Failing that Xmas will be a fantastic time for some BDing

hello to all and sorry to hear of AF's but hopefully some more BFPs soon. Th elong wait is on it's way here, only 7 more days till I test but unfortunately already have aches like AF so feeling a bit blue. mustn't be though - it's sunday night and we're cosy at home and we have much to be thankful for.
