Hi all...I will be testing this weekend and would love to have companion on the 7 day countdown to compare symptoms up to test day.
Currently trying for baby no.2, and have been for about a year now with one M/C during that time.

Symptom/s to date at 8dpo are:

  1. Pulling type feeling low down in the groin area....

Nothing more to report at this stage..is that good?

Pls come share your experiences during the up and coming week. Its always interesting to see at the end of the week which symptom/s actually end in the coverted BFP...Yeah .

Hi !

I'm planning on testing on Fri 19th if I can hold out that long ! 10 DPO today and I vacillate from thinking I have symptoms to thinking I have none.

On Sat afternoon, my nipples went really really hot for a few hours and I saw a small amount of creamy yellow CM that evening. Since then, nothing to report but extremely sore and expanded boobs - possibly more so than normal pre AF but I am not sure

I've imagined felt a few very mild twinges low down on my left side and think I have seen some red / pink spotting, but am not sure on that either, as I was bleeding from a burst sebaceous cyst at the same time.

Waiting2Exhale · 15/09/2008 12:57

Hi Jools1... nice to see you have joined..will help wherever I can to help you not test until friday... .

The creamy yellow CM from the nipple sounds interesting...will be more interesting if you are preg as every woman who will have read this will stop knicker checking and start nipple checking...ahhahaha

Me nothing new today other that really high temps. The highest I ever seen on any of my previous charts without being well. Could this be a progesterone boost....ooohhhhhhh... I hope so....

Waiting2Exhale · 15/09/2008 12:59

Sorry meant to say...my temp today is the highest...only ever higher when I have been unwell.

I am, though got ewcm on Saturday when I thought I had ovulated the Sat before so perhaps this is a 37 day cycle instead of normal 30. Am very confused. Managed to bd on Sat night but if the cm was there in the day maybe that's too late. First month in ages with no symptoms, but the other months had lots of symptons and bfn so maybe lack of anything a good sign iyswim?

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 15/09/2008 13:34

Hi i'm also desperate to test but think it wil be too soon, we're not trying not to concieve if that makes sense, but I was fairly quick with the last two although that doesn't mean anything in the grand scheme of things does it!

Had nausea last night and this morning but that's gone now but convince myself it's psychosomatic as I had extremely bad morning sickness with the last two....I have a test in the cupboard calling out to me tell me no....

BTW have no idea when af is due i know i'm regular 28-30 days but have tried and failed to keep a record but I consistently forget but it should be sometme soon 7 days or so possibly less whoops!

sorry if this is a bit random and chaotic i'm not normally like this honest!

Jools1 · 15/09/2008 13:58

Ah WaitingtoExhale did I mislead ? The CM was from the usual place, not the nipple !! Nipple checkers can stand down now

I am getting very strange sensations now - as if someone is poking me in the stomach - right by my belly button ?

Yellowflowers - I think you only get EWCM on the run-up to ov, with maybe some left over the day after. Are you sure it is EWCM ? I had some creamy discharge on Sat and am now getting lots of PG symptoms, so maybe it was implantation ? I think we are on the same cycle days, so that would make sense

I bought a PG test today, as I only have the ClearBlue freebie at home and don't want to waste it ! Will definitely try and wait a bit longer though.

Waiting2Exhale · 15/09/2008 16:28

Oh Jools my mistake sorry...was a strange symptom to be honest but every woman will experience something different. You just never know ...

Hi ladies DorisIsAPinkDragon and yellowflowers... welcome...less all count together...yeah!

Yellowflower not an expert or nothing but from what I've learn, (mostly on MN) EWCM is normally seen just before you ov...I hope this helps

Hi Girlies....temp is still very very high for me anyway...to days in a row with the dip three days ago. Maybe I have had an implantation dip. FF will give me a triphasic chart if my temp is as high tomorrow....Yeah... .

Oh and Jools...hang in there....Don't test....I want to have someone to do my test with.

LOL - I'm having to sit on my hands !! Have had cramping / poking sensation round my belly button for 24 hrs now. Boobs still massive - I am sure far far bigger than normal pre-AF

I did buy a cheap Boots test yesterday but have hidden it !

Just worried that I still like the taste of tea and coffee, fancied a glass of wine with my dinner last night (I didn't have one though !) and am not significantly hungry or tired.

On the "Anyone else on CDI" thread, there look to be around 6 of us looking to test at the end of the week - massive Mumsnet pee-on-a-stick fest !!

reallyhoping · 16/09/2008 12:09

Hi ladies.

I've name changed as I have RL friends on here who don't know we're ttc ... hope you don't mind

I've been going through all sorts of fertility treatment lately but this month I've not had anything ... and I think I could well have ovultated about a fortnight ago. I went for a scan and had a couple of nice big folicles so the expectation was that I would ovulate shortly after that.

So DH and I did everything we could for about a week or so, then dropped back to every other day ... and now it's been a few days ... but hopefully we've done enough.

I had blood-streaked CM on CDs 21-24 and have had other 'symptoms' but they could well be imagined or mean completely different things. Having not ovulated for over a year it's hard to know how my body reacts to it!

I was hoping to be able to test on Saturday but I rather stupidly agreed to go with a friend to give blood on Thursday so I'll have to test Thursday morning as, obviously, I can't go if I'm up the duff!

Good luck everyone

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 16/09/2008 12:14

Hi. Can I join please. On cycle 3 of TTC No3. Not had much luck keeping hold of small beans. Trying not to get hopes up this month. But think I might win award for most bizarre symptom. Very to admit this but boobs were feeling very strange/fizzy/full end of last week. So sqeezed them both and got couple of drops of milky type liquid from each boob. Boobs now feeling relatively normal. I've either picked up v strange disease and will keel over tomorrow or do you think I might be pg?! Also got some mammoth chin spots and v greasy skin. I look WONDERFUL . Not.

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 16/09/2008 12:16

Forgot to add, good luck to everyone. I'll be testing on Sunday.

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 16/09/2008 13:33

Couldn't reisist frantically searched for found an old out of date test at the back of the drawer and got a BFN

still felt slightly nauseous this morning and now micro analysing feel slight abdo twinges but could be AF ( trying to remain realistic)

I'll leave it a coulple of days before buying any more... good luck to those testing soon

HeyThereGeorgieGirl · 16/09/2008 13:37

Doris It's not over til the fat red lady sings. . And could be flase neg if it was out of date?

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 16/09/2008 14:16

thanks georgie girl, told myself all that aswell, butI'am dreadful at keeping things in perspective and not getting too excited but will just have to wait and see but it's sooooooo bloody difficult isn't it???

reallyhoping · 16/09/2008 14:26

Hurrah! My friend now can't go to give blood until Friday when I'll be working; so I can now stay off testing until Saturday as originally planned - assuming I don't get my period before then! PIL are coming for coffee on Saturday am as it's FIL's birthday so that would be a nice additional present for them ... mustn't get my hopes up tho, it's a long time til Saturday comes (wasn't that a Sean Bean film...?)

Boobs are really achy now but it comes and goes. As I have such a weird cycle I didn't know I was pg with DD until I was 8 weeks so I'm having trouble remembering what my early pregnancy was like ... I do remember achy boobs and being really ratty with DH. I suppose I'll have to wait and see.

Doris - sorry about the BFN but you never know; out of date HPTs are out of date for a reason so can't be trusted.

Georgiegirl - that's my DD's name and, therefore, her song!

Waiting2Exhale · 16/09/2008 14:42

Hi ladies...great to see more people joining. Its gonna be quite a busy weekend by the looks of it ...can't wait myself but spending my time on here helps. In my mind as long as I'm reading and responding to messages on these threads am keeping myself too busy to test....yeah .

Reallyhoping getting a bfp this weekend really would be a lovely pressie for your FL...ahhhha. Any other symptoms other than swore boobs...don't recall getting that the last time until I was about 7wks pg. Have a long time to wait.

HeyThereGeorgieGirl ousing boobs...hmmmmm....me and Jools were only commenting on something similar (though in her case I got it soooo wrong). How very weird. Can't wait to see it that really turns out to be an early pg symptom....hheehehe

DorisIsAPinkDragon The good thing is 1) Its a little early so there is still a chance and 2) The test was out of date so you can just ignore this result. Hang in there girlie

reallyhoping I HATED my name when I was little. Mid 1970's in Buckinghamshire wasn't known for its orginality with names! Desperately wanted to be called Susie . Rather like it now though. And good to see that it's having a resurgence .

waiting2exhale Same as you. trying to take mind of it by spending too much time on MN! One of us HAS to get a BFP otherwise there's no justice in the world! Am sure the boob thing was just a weird thing. But hey, who knows!

PinkDragon I HATE the whole 2ww. It's torture. But we're nearly thru another day now. Suspense is killing me!

Anyone got a good cure for spots? . Mine are at the red, hugely stage where paper bag only option of covering them successfully!

Jools1 · 16/09/2008 16:59

There are some lovely nicknames on this thread I didn't know I could be that creative when I joined - might have to name-change if when I get a BFP

Had a moment this afternoon when my enormous appendages started tingling and getting very hot again - was in a one to one meeting and desperately worried they might be leaking or something (having read other comments on here !!) They weren't, but they felt very odd, and I am certain that everyone is staring at my chest - it is enormous.

then had a scared moment, thinking what if this is it - enormity of what may lie ahead had me in floods of tears in the ladies ...

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 16/09/2008 17:27

Bless you jools, bloody hormones...... Can't wait for your new name you could try some out on us to fill the space till we can test (again!)

Still feeling nausea but I'm thinking that's a good thing since when has nausea been a good thing????????

( particularly given the last 2 horrendous pregnancies- I'm not even going down the enormity of what lies ahead )

reallyhoping · 16/09/2008 18:06

Jools - at least you're feeling that now; I started feeling that way about 5 minutes before DD was born! The mid-wife said "A few more pushes and you'll have your baby" and, inside my head, I screamed "But I'm not ready for it!!" But we are coping well so far - two and a half years later.

Doris - I keep feeling very mildly nauseous, sort of like mild hunger but not... difficult to describe but I'm certainly not rushing to the loo every five minutes.

GeorgieGirl - if it's any consolation, you're not alone in the spots. My skin is always dodgy due to having PCOS, but at the moment it's really bad with several really big, red spots. Really attractive!

Waiting - I've got sore boobs, but they're not tender as such, just achy; mild nausea, see above; I'm tired, but that could just be DD wearing me out; I seem to be weeing more, but that's probably just because I'm more aware of it; I keep getting an aching across my shoulder blades; Oh, and I had the blood streaked cm last week ... I refuse to get my hopes up ... well, I'm certainly trying not to!! Like I said before: as I don't have a regular cycle, I have no real idea as to whether these are 'normal' symptoms or something more ...

I have the tests but am not going to test before Saturday ... I am not going to test before Saturday ... I am not going to test before Saturday ... I am not going to test before Saturday ... ...

DorisIsAPinkDragon · 16/09/2008 18:25

Really hoping- That is so how I feel, just a really low grade hunger/ nausea on and off for the past three days..... this is not normal at all for me

just keep going wih the mantra.... ( from one with one wasted test already under her belt!)
