I couldn't see that anyone's started a thread for September yet. Seeing as it's tomorrow thought I'd start one now. Seems AF arrived for a few of us at the same time so looks like we'll be in sync over the coming months.
How is everyone doing?

@OrangeRainbow those all look positive to me, congrats!

Thank you! Keeping my fingers crossed that they get darker xx

HelloDarknessmyoldfrenemy · 18/10/2026 14:06

Congratulations @LavenderSweetPea @OrangeRainbow those look like great lines! Fingers crossed for sticky babies for both of you ❤️

Bumblebeemee · 18/10/2026 15:09

I caved and tested at 8 DPO mid afternoon so I don’t know what I was thinking 😂 BFN! I got my VVVVFL positive for my last pregnancy at 9DPO so no more testing for my until Tuesday I think to give myself a chance.

@OrangeRainbow your FRERs look totally blank to me but the easy@home and clear blue are definite positives! Congratulations! And to you @LavenderSweetPea and well done for having the strength to hold out a bit longer. It’s not easy!

OrangeRainbow · 19/10/2026 06:40

Today’s progression at 9DPO. Got my fingers crossed for everyone in the TWW!

Thank you! I’ve worked it out as 2nd or 3rd July… if all goes well it will be perfect as DH works term time only and finishes for the summer on the 8th July 🤞

@OrangeRainbow we're due date buddies! I've worked mine out as 2 July. I've done a digital as well this morning, I can't believe it! Obviously a long way to go but this was only my second month trying, it took nearly two years with my first.

Bumblebeemee · 20/10/2026 09:17

10DPO - can anyone else see a line? I’m so scared to get my hopes up.

Excited!! When you TTC you spend so much worry, energy and thoughts into it and I think it’s so important that you celebrate when you finally get a positive even if something can happen 🥰💘

Bumblebeemee · 20/10/2026 09:47

Thank you, that’s a really great perspective. I’m going to choose to be excited! Just because I had a loss doesn’t mean I’ll have another. I’ve ordered some digitals so we’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Exactly!! I had a chemical in September and now I’m in week 6 with the strongest lines so I think this one sticks, choose to be excited ❤️

Ah amazing! My daughter arrived 2 weeks early so could end up with a June baby! So happy it’s happened quickly for you this time

LavenderSweetPea · 20/10/2026 12:39

@OrangeRainbow thank you! Yeah my first was nearly 3 weeks early so I'm actually hoping this one arrives in June - it's much better for the nursery funding, earlyJuly babies don't get funding until September when they are fourteen months and I'll be back at work long before that. On top of paying the fees for my eldest as well, until he starts school. I just really hadn't thought how quick this might happen!

My next step is to contact the EPU for an early scan, I've had an ectopic so I'm hoping they'll agree to do one.

That’s a good point about the nursery funding. My DD was born early September so it worked out well with funding. Luckily DH is term time only so he can have the baby over the summer to tide us over until the September.

I’m sure they’ll do an early scan for you, I know people who have had previous ectopics and have had no issue getting a 6 week scan. Got my fingers crossed for you xx

Maomee · 20/10/2026 17:49

Congratulations to the few recent BFPs all very encouraging and hope they stick for you 💕

I'm just over a week after my hycosy and think I'm about 6-7DPO. Not sure whether to hope or not as the hycosy was a bit close to ovulation (a day or two before) but we did manage to DTD a fair bit over the window so you never know. Part of me feels very guarded though as I've got my hopes up more times than I can count now...

Fairiebee · 20/10/2026 18:05

@Bumblebeemee congratulations!! there is a line for sure.
@OrangeRainbow really dark for 9dpo. Probably the implantation was really early. Congrats!!
@BerrieSweet how are you doing? any symptomps? did you do any betas?
I am 5 weeks with due date I think 24/6 and waiting for my first scan on Friday.

EBx · 20/10/2026 19:18

Commenting to follow the thread :) 36 ttc 2nd baby. My little girl is 3 so keeps me distracted at least :)

I choose not to test though as it makes me obsessive lol. Period due on Thursday. Currently experiencing sore boobs and nausea similar to with my first. Will wait until the weekend to see what happens :)

good luck everyone !

ThirdTimeRound1988 · 22/10/2026 19:48

Can i join you all? I'm on cycle 2 of trying for our third baby - my 2 children are 7 and 5 . We ummed and ahhed for ages about having a third and have finally decided to go for it!

I have 26 day cycles and ovulate around CD12 so it doesnt seem like there's much time between my period ending and ovulating. Im currently 1dpo so just the start of the dreaded tww. Im really hoping to be pregnant in the next 2 months as otherwise its another school year which makes the already large gap seem even bigger!

january1244 · 23/10/2026 13:27

id love to join also. I’m almost 42 and this is my first month for baby three. I have a four and two year old. We feel very lucky with what we’ve got, so we aren’t tracking or investigating anything. Also have put a time limit on it due to potential ahe gaps getting bigger, so it’s possible it won’t happen. Any other older people in the thread?

Hey! I'm 39 and my partner is 43. He has 2 sons a 20year old and a 15 year old. I have a 13year old daughter. We want to have a baby together. I struggled with my daughters dad years ago when we tried for baby number 2. Only just started having unprotected sex and haven't been tracking. Will do that after this month. We are very excited.

january1244 · 23/10/2026 21:39

@lornsausageyou sound like you’re taking a similar approach. 39 should be alright, I had my second relatively easily at 39, as did many of my friends 🤞
