I couldn't see that anyone's started a thread for September yet. Seeing as it's tomorrow thought I'd start one now. Seems AF arrived for a few of us at the same time so looks like we'll be in sync over the coming months.
How is everyone doing?

I’m CD 24, Premom predicted ovulation today and nothing! LH at 0.23! I had a tiny bit of fertile looking CM on CD19 but no ovulation pain or anything and DH was away so couldn’t have dtd anyway. So think there is about 5% chance I ovulated then and missed this cycle but 95% sure I’m still waiting. Looks like this is going to be a looooong cycle. I really wanted a September (2026!) baby anyway so maybe if I have another 85 day cycle that’s a good thing 😂 will ovulate in time for a September 2027 baby perhaps?

Any ovulation for you @Vimto1991?

Ah that’s so frustrating, but like you say - September babies would be ideal! My cycle is very messed up already. No idea if I count the days my period started early and was spotty as CD1, or the day the flow was heavy. So I’m either CD 6 or Cd2. Likely going to be approaching peak ovulation when staying with family on holiday - and sharing a room with the kids! So, think im aiming for a September one too then!

Just updating since I've been around these threads for a while now (TTC #1 for 12+ months). I had my Hycosy procedure on Monday and it was much easier than I expected. I wasn't sure what to expect as there are such varying experiences of this scan so I took some quite strong painkillers in advance of it (cocodamol and ibuprofen) but it was honestly fine, very much the same level of discomfort as a smear for me.
They were able to clearly visualise one ovary and tube and that tube is open but the other ovary wasn't showing clearly as it seemed to be near/behind my bowel? So the gynaecologist couldn't see the fluid coming from that tube. So it seems that I have at least 1 working tube and the other one is inconclusive. I am also ovulating from the 'good' side this month so fingers crossed something may happen. We came home from the procedure and DTD immediately and yesterday also. 😂 Really hoping for the fertility boost many women get after hycosy.

Good luck to everyone else in it this month 🩷

Ahh, that’s rubbish!! Bathroom sex? I’ve had some very quiet sex when on family holidays, needs must!

Yes, I never thought I’d still be here nearly a year later with another chance at a September baby. My cycle also feels very messed up this time, after 2 normal ones. Maybe it’s karma for trying to make it perfect the first time around. Or maybe I’ll get an end of August baby 😂. 🤞 for babies for us both soon!

Glad the Hycosy went well and wasn’t too painful! What are they planning on doing about the inconclusive tube? Are they retesting or just leaving it as you have one good tube?

Fingers crossed that this is your month!

Nope! Cd43 for me! I bounce between .2-.5 and that’s it 🫩

I like your optimism about a September baby! It’s a positive way to look at it. I just wish things were more predictable and also that we had more chances in a year!

I’ve had four periods this year and only trying for two of them… but that’s been four months 🙈

I really wanted a baby before the six weeks so I didn’t have to think of childcare but I don’t mind a September baby either. Atleast I don’t have to navigate six weeks with a 5 year old and a newborn by myself and I get the whole school year off for the next year. 🤪🤪

Thank you.
What they said was my options now would be a laparoscopy to see what might be going on with the unseen side or we can also opt to go to IVF. The consultant also said we will wait a couple of months before choosing either (I'll have a review then) in case this scan does help something happen in the meantime.
I expressed that I was leaning towards laparoscopy as I do think I might have endo and I have heard that if endo is present and not removed it can impact IVF success. I'm really hoping that we will manage to conceive before we have to do either but it does help put my my mind at rest as we have been trying for such a long time now.

How is everything going with you? Hope all is well and you're not waiting too much longer 💐

Hi everyone, just checking in as I’m in the TWW now, ended up getting my peak late on Saturday so I think I’m 4/5 DPO. Going to attempt to hold off testing but I’m not sure how successful I’ll be this month. I’m struggling to distract myself from it all and keep googling my percentage changes of success this cycle based on various factors even though I know there’s no actual way to predict success! I’ve found the return to work after my MC much more difficult than expected too so feeling pretty exhausted overall.
