TTC September/October 26

I couldn't see that anyone's started a thread for September yet. Seeing as it's tomorrow thought I'd start one now. Seems AF arrived for a few of us at the same time so looks like we'll be in sync over the coming months.
How is everyone doing?

Thanks so much - it is fractionally darker this morning, though has only been like 14 hours difference so probably shouldn’t expect too much 🤣 was away at my parents last night but returning home today so may try on a cheapie as well. Very very tentative fingers crossed.

10DPO today. Driving myself mad thinking about it constantly. Trying to not get my hopes up but feel like if I say it hasn't happened that bad juju for manifesting...hence feeling mad. I dont have any period symptoms yet which could be the acupuncture...will not test until period is due/late though

Does anyone get a tightening/bubbling feeling in the middle by their pubic bone? I had it last month around ovulation but the nurse thought it was a bladder infection so off I went on antibiotics.

feeling went, period came two weeks later, and now I haven’t even ovulated in September or yet in October and the feeling is back.

nurse has booked an ultrasound to be on the safe side but no idea what it means. 🫠

1DPO today, managed to DTD on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and ovulated on Saturday I think 🫣 exhausted now and quite relieved to be in the TWW 🤣 1DPO so the wait begins

What is going on! So had light blood tinged mucas on Thur and Friday only on wiping (CDs 26/27). Mainly pink and brown, then on sat morning it was red, and arrived on the toilet, wore a thin panty liner and it marked it, but didn’t soak through. Tests were negative, granted it wasn’t FMU. It hasn’t started like a normal period - so technically period was due on Sat, but seemed to arrive early, today would be 1 day after period due. Only seen blood on wiping, forget to wear a liner and knickers only minimally marked with something. Tested this afternoon and negative. Will test tomorrow morning.

How cruel to be an odd, light, early period at a time when i am hoping its implantation bleeding.

Bit gutted to say I’m back on the thread. BFP on 24/09, turned out to be a chemical at 5W2D, already almost at the end of my bleeding. The only positive I’ll say is the ladies at my local EPU have been incredible, this is my second miscarriage in 6 months and they’re really quick to tell me my options and how to advocate for myself with the GP for tests. Onwards to third time lucky 🤞

Sorry this is happening to you, it sounds very confusing and stressful. I don’t have any specific advice but just hoping you get clarity soon

I’m sorry to hear about recent losses, sending baby dust and hoping for BFPs for everyone on this thread.

I have had a clearer positive today - feeling cautiously optimistic but am very anxious given my last pregnancy. As I’m at higher risk of another ectopic I’ll need to call EPU for an early scan at five weeks. I might take a bit of time away from this thread just to try and distract myself a bit.

I had similar a couple of cycles ago and was really confused too. I looked on dr google and it said that it’s to do with hormone levels dropping

thanks for replying. My period isn’t here, but the tests are negative. I guess if it doesn’t start properly in 2 days I might call the GP. I’ve not successfully tested either FMU as accidentally flooded this mornings test.

Omg girls! I can't believe did. I tested yesterday 10dpo FMU and a BFN and I was so disappointed. But the whole day today 11dpo I had a feeling. So I bought a test and it was positive. Very faint but positive 😭 can you see it too???

I'm sorry about your chemical @Kathi154 . Do you mind me asking what EPU told you to say to the GP? I had a chemical last month and the previous month, both to about 5.5 weeks and wasn't sure whether to follow them up.

13dpo today so looks like I'm out this month too but possibly need a cycle reset (if that's how it works!?)

No worries, she said because I’d had two recurrent miscarriages I could go to my GP, and that they wouldn’t refer to a recurrent loss specialist until 3 miscarriages, but that I can ask the GP themselves for blood tests to rule out causes like thyroid/clotting issues, as well as blood pressure and any vitamin deficiencies, and that I can request progesterone from my GP for my next pregnancy. She also said for my next pregnancy I could call the EPU for a reassurance scan at 5-6 weeks.

one thing worth noting is I’m in Scotland, which I think is a bit ahead of England/Wales in adopting the tiered care model for recurrent miscarriages and offering tests earlier. But it’s always worth asking!

Thank you @Kathi154 , thats really helpful. I'll discuss with the GP/gynae. I wasnt sure what was considered in the loss category. I was in for something else with the nurse recently and I mentioned it (was the first time) and she sort of brushed it off so good to hear there is a next step rather than just ignoring it.

@BerrieSweet @Jigglemonster thank you so much. @BerrieSweet I think we are cycle twins, 12dpo today. The stress is so much I couldn't sleep. Having a chemical and a MMC recently I am afraid that the odds are higher that this might not progress. But I think that today's morning test is much darker than the yesterday's afternoon so that's a good thing.

I have just experienced this. My period is due tomorrow (wednesday). On Friday I had bright red blood and was sure i was out. There wasn't loads but it was like the very start of a period. Cleared up with a tiny bit of spotting Saturday and Sunday, and this morning I got my positive.

Don't regard the bleeding as your period until you have a sustained flow like you usually would. I've had this a few times and I know how confusing and frustrating it can be. Sending lots of care your way

I just woke up and felt my boobs have stopped being sore. Took a test and it’s negative. I think I’ve had my life’s shortest, earliest and lightest period. Hoping my cycle isn’t too messed up as staying with family in 2 weeks so no chance to DTD then! Will have to do my best tracking….

But I’ll keep this in my mind as no flow still! And congratulations. Xxx

Omg thats so fun! That’s a great progress line from yesterday to today as well! I totally understand the anxiety as I also had a chemical last month. I just have a good feeling this time and I can trust it 🥹🤞🏼

I’m CD 24, Premom predicted ovulation today and nothing! LH at 0.23! I had a tiny bit of fertile looking CM on CD19 but no ovulation pain or anything and DH was away so couldn’t have dtd anyway. So think there is about 5% chance I ovulated then and missed this cycle but 95% sure I’m still waiting. Looks like this is going to be a looooong cycle. I really wanted a September (2026!) baby anyway so maybe if I have another 85 day cycle that’s a good thing 😂 will ovulate in time for a September 2027 baby perhaps?
